This website does not help any of my students learn. Actually, this makes them dumber than before. This keeps messing with my whole class, and our teacher doesn't believe us. One lesson takes at least 30 minutes, and their is 2 lessons in one. I also hate reading tests because I have a sixth grade level in fourth grade, but I literally get 0% on every one of my tests. I don't recommend this, and it may be hard to believe me where I am a young kid. Just for your advice, please do not use this website. It doesn't help anybody learn, and makes them unsmart.

So here I am writing a more respectful review. I-ready SHOULD NOT be a thing just purely of the lessons and the way the website is designed. Schools chose terrible websites for their students like this one. Just going into this website there are many red flags such as the diagnostic. For the diagnostic, the lessons are repetitive and annoying. The diagnostic makes you view all the controls again and again and again. Yes, it may be helpful if you forgot but there should be a skip button if you already know the controls. I feel like the diagnostic should be re-designed in a more comfortable way for students. That's all I have to say. Please fix. Thanks!

The worst
September 29, 2022

I ready is literally the worst. I was getting use to hard rounding, and suddenly it bought up a topic we're even a second grader would get that problem in a zap. A tip fo I ready to get shipped to North Korea is to say no on how you liked he story you read on reading. Yash, 4th grade.

I ready sucks!
May 21, 2023

It's not necessary it doesn't teach kids anything about math or reading it just makes are lives harder. I think I- ready should not be a thing it just not helpful for kids i would rather be taught by my teacher than doing i ready i do not learn anything i already know how to read my teacher teaches me everything i need to know and its just like additional work that's not necessary. I ready puts more pressure on kids.

THIS IS TERRIBLE!
October 20, 2022

I-ready is not the fastest way to learn and I am a student and my teacher get very annoyed by i-ready because it has terrible service and more than half of the students aren´t happy when they have an i-ready lesson. It brings conflict to my classroom

I don't like i-Ready at all. The diagnostic I do not mind, but the lessons are too easy, my siblings and my classmates all agree. Even my teacher doesn't like it. The school requires it. I don't recommend it outside of school.

If kids are trying to do their schoolwork, they should just be able to to the work portion, not listen to Pepper Jacky talk about croutons or a detective penguin rant for the majority of the lesson. There are to many stupid animations that are unskippable that only make the work more annoying and long to do. Not to mention, the voice overs sound like they were recorded with a literal can of beans. And to top it all off, I am trying an iReady lesson right now and I wrote this entire review while one of those animations was playing, and its still not done.

I-Ready
March 17, 2024

As a parent of two children, I-Ready has been a burden to them. They are lucky, however, to have only one lesson a day. Some students aren't so lucky and get up to three lessens a day. This so called "learning app" has taught my kids close to nothing, which is a waste as they are children and need to live out a good childhood. They have to do I-Ready, IXL, Frax, Reflex Math, and their assigned paper homework. Every week I-Ready is a burden and getting in the way of their everyday activities.

I-ready sucks
September 6, 2023

I-ready is horrible they should be out of business already, I think that students around middle school age should stop using I-ready, for example, they can use Ixl or Khan Academy. I am not saying it's bad it is just it is appropriate for only k-5

Iready is the worst thing ever. I am a 5th grade student, and I have been doing iready since 1st grade. There are typos, misspellings, and we don't learn anything. The math section teaches you stuff that is very confusing, and in both math and reading, there are weird characters with weird names that are designed to make the learning more fun, but it just makes iready worse. It's literally the WORST. THING. EVER.

I may be a little biased, but I am a student who is required to do I-Ready. Its lessons are repetitive, and it isn't interesting at all. It doesn't help me learn at all. I would do just fine without it.

Steve Butler

My child uses i ready at school and we never get family time because he has to do one hundred minutes. We went to Tennessee to visit his dying grandmother and he had to do all his i ready there, because school was open that day. He has learned things on there but it confuses him. His lessons are way to hard for him, so he spends hours on it.

Bro this is so bad
March 21, 2022

I tried to answer one of the math problems it gave me, and so I put in negative four, it said I was wrong and then went on to tell me the answer was negative four. Here are so other reasons its bad,
-load time, takes ten minutes to load onto the site
-the wording is bad which leads to confusion
-does not apply the math correctly to the "story"
This site overall is garbage.

Ban Iready
March 11, 2022

I wish I could rate this app a zero but I can't so I'll give it a 1. Iready does not help students it basically teaches students other ways instead of the ways of their teachers. For example, right now I'm in 6th grade getting ireadys lessons all wrong because iready is teaching us our lesson in a different way. So please I encourage teachers to stop assigning ready

$#*! app
February 8, 2023

Physically cannot do this work i will fall asleep within 3 minutes of opening this app and getting ready to do an assignment. I am literally a straight a student and i do not mind doing work but this $#*! is so boring its making my grade go down like crazy the stories are so boring and its so stupid that i have to listen to all these videos and wait for the audio to stop talking like oh my god. The audio alone takes up 4-8 minutes which is exactly all i need to finish a test, and then when my teacher says "time up" im not done and i have like 6 questions left which wouldve been done if it wasnt for the videos. Hope this app dies and the creator falls off a bridge or at LEAST updates this app which is probably designed for kindergarteners and not highschool students. That also reminds me im getting the easiest courses ever even though i took the diagnostic $#*! to an extent of what i knew and got my "grade level assignments".
