Worst site ever! Paid employees of the site start deliberate race baiting threads or threads because they are paid by the sites they link to. There are a few employees who are masquerading as members: Freja is one that springs to mind. They are paid to instigate and bombard the site with multiple threads. They start Stan wars and get paid for every thread that reaches a certain amount of clicks or comments. Its all fake. They love it when the stans start to fight as well. It drives up the clicks. They also tag team each other in threads and follow members to other threads. The Paid members start private groups as well and stir behind the scenes. It is a horrendous site that needs to be shut down.

A place for toxic, miserable degenerates who think that they can do wrong and that it is constantly other races/males faults. Some of them genuinely believe that they will snag a man who makes 25$M a year even though they make way below that. Some fonts have common sense but its a select few. Just delusion and a place for the dumb, dumber and dumbest. Do not sign up. Incredibly hateful, low life and strong cognitive dissonance. People here are seriously so stupid omg you will lose brain cells reading their comments. Claim to hate racism but insult other black folks in the name of "accountability"
Do not interact with any of them the majority are unhinged. Certain forums are nice but just stay away. Definitely anti-African, anti-Bm, anti-whitewomen, anti everything really. Always talking on stuff they don't know and it makes them look very ignorant. Africans stay in their mouths claiming they have ruined the site when the site was trash and not even for African American women in the first place. Toxic, disgusting and negative. The majority of them actually hate being black but will never admit it. You will need holy water by the time you're done.

AA's constantly complain about africans while its them that STAY in the African forums and start derailing. The delusion of it all.

A lot of women on that site have childish mindset, it's ridiculous. If you post anything 9 times out of 10 someone is going to reply with an unprovoked snide remark so someone can either laugh or thumbs up their post, it's filled with a bunch of negative Nancys. Whatever you do, don't respond or engage, just read the post and keep it moving because a chick who's miserable is going to engage you to keep her company. And lets not get on the fact they swear up and down every man who is posted is either gay or bi. The mods who monitor the confession are biased, they be deleting poeples confession who follow the rules, yet there are people who still mentioning celebrites, post nasty confessions and troll, even argue with eachother from time to time. And what is so strange is a lot of them take negative rating so seriously, some will go so far as to stalk someone and thumb down all their post out of revenge and then you have the weirdos with "negative rep me, and I will negative rep you back" in their signatures. Smh

This site has always been a mess. It ranges from boring home decor threads to threads filled with close ups from female entertainers hands, legs and analyzing their facial structure, trying to prove that all women in Hollywood are actually transgender. The same users making post claiming to be insiders, lawyers, in pr, making six figures, and co. Are the ones in other parts of the site talking about being broke, in love with a cheater, temporarily homeless or 40 year old virgins and an overall mess- but no one every points that out. Most of the time you will find users being blatanly racist and homophobic/ transphobic and believing every conspiracy theory. According to them everyone in entertainment is either a clone, a robot, a satanist, an illuminati member, on drugs or all of the above. The "tea" threads are mostly re-heated toilet water with users talking about having been in pr, meanwhile they talk in other threads telling completely other stories exposing themselves! Then there is a certain member who has been spilling made up tea for years, still everybody falls for it, the treads still getting hundreds of replies. That member is Perez Hilton, who has been banned from most other gossip sites like ONTD. I lurked there and I've never seen so much ignorance and hatred looped into one. I was shocked by Whitney's threads, the level of hatred, made up theories and just ridiculousness was beyond comprehension.
I've never went back there, what I read there was nothing short of EVIL. Those people are sick, twisted individuals.

Reading some of the reviews, you'd think that the African Americans have become a minority group and everyone is picking on poor them. Nope. The AAs have made life for everyone else on the website, especially Jamaicans, a living NIGHTMARE and they know it too. No one would dare insult them, but they're on a reign of terror.
I'm at a loss how a group of people can torture and bully others without no repercussions but somehow remain victims.

I once got a warning from the admin because I stood up to a poster who said something absolutely loathsome about Africans. I'm not even African. The comment is still there and the person didn't even get a warning.

Most of them will be completely blunt about how they think that you're worthless and they're better than you. They'll pretend to be another nationality just to get in their daily insults for the day. Many of them are hypocritical, insecure and have internal issues with their colour even though they accuse other groups of the same thing.

Oh, and it doesn't stop there. Most of the AAs on the website are racist towards anyone who isn't black. Several white people on the website who were there originally for the gossip have fled.

It's just one big cesspool of hate. Where does it end? A friend of mine who is white American once told me years ago not to mix with AAs, and I see why now. Joke's on me...

I'll be the elephant in the room by posting an unpopular opinion here.

I'll admit that I joined this website because I always related to some of the women's insecurities regarding not feeling good about their appearance and being treated badly by men of their own race. The problem is that these women take their bitterness too far and it legit scares me.

I also think they worship white men simply just to spite black men and to feel better about themselves, and I think that's just plain weird and unhealthy.

I don't blame them for being unhappy with the way black women are treated in this society, but they come off as needlessly bitter sometimes about the situation (by putting other women down to feel better about themselves).

The website also started rubbing me the wrong way when I saw how hateful the fonts can be towards each other. The mods are also trash for allowing it to happen. I even heard that one of the mods revealed the identity of one font who posted anonymously about having an abortion, and the women attacked the poor font. They also can be such haters regarding topics, and they can also be psycho stalkers. The website is cancer and it needs to be shut down. They even go too far with their hate, and it's scary.

Condi sucks. She's awful. I hate her.

Onto the website itself. I found Lipstick alley or LSA from a google search many years ago (late 2000s). Back then it wasn't a well known website and it was fun and hilarious and people there were funny and cool. This was the days before social media so there were not many people on the website compared to how it is today. Back then due to the small number the website felt more like a community where you could get to know certain members. I met some nice people through PMs.

The website has changed now. Or maybe I've just outgrown it. I can no longer enjoy the website so I wanted to leave a review before I left for good.

P.S. Most of the people there are white (around 75%) pretending to be black. I am black but it's obvious that most of the people there aren't. There are also some Asians and Latinos on there who also pretend to be black for some reason. Most people on lipstick alley 75% - 80% are non black people in digital blackface.

What's funny to me though is that the black fonts are harangued and accused of being white but the white members of the website (which is the vast majority) are left to mind their own business.

I hope no one takes that website seriously because it's filled with teenagers pretending to be grown adults. (Hence the immature conversation topics, the inability to accept differences without personal attack and the name calling). Childishness all round.

There is a pedophile who uses the name Taz17zy who uses the website and he/she has not been banned. He/she stalks people, has more than one account and is disgusting. The admins allow sickos like Taz17zy to roam LSA. This person was hitting up underage people on social media.

My question is, why hasn't LSA banned the pervert? He/she stalks people, harasses people and has a thing for kids.

Verve Hosting, Inc. who own the website need to fix it up, it is out of control.

I have been a member of this website for some time now. It used to be a light hearted place where celeb gossip and "tea" threads flowed from actual insiders. Now, the website is a breeding ground for mentally ill users that stalk and harass individuals at the drop of a hat. It makes absolutely no sense. You have rampant digital blackface and women pretending to be men. Posters that claim to have glamorous lives but post counts longer than mine.

The fact that a person can't delete their account should be an indication of how imperative it is for not a single soul to join this mediocre website.

Heed all previous warnings. There are "fonts" that stalk your posting history and follow you from thread to thread or just plain read your post history all night just to "drag" you in the morning just because you disagree with them. In what world would this be considered normal? I can guarantee that someone behaving in this manner is more than likely meek in real life but bad! Ss online.

Onto the racism, I don't think half of the posters are even Black. There have been instances where people of other races and ethnicities were outed. Now, there isn't an issue with a diverse forum but it becomes a problem when said posters are racist or believe that they have authority over a topic because they are married to a person from x ethnic group. There are alot of racist Europeans especially Germans and dutch people that end up on this website.

Once again, stay very far away from this website. It's a toxic sh! T hole that should only be lurked. Don't post any details regarding yourself. I mean it, POST NOTHING.

Lipstick alley is a place where angry insecure black women gather to vent their frustrations with being dark-skinned. It's obvious that most of them went through trauma as children and now suffer from mental illness. The African Americans attack, insult, and hate everyone, and attack and try to bully any black culture who they believe don't share the same hatred for other races that they do.

The black people in general on that site hate to hear anything positive about other black countries and will attack the country and people if anything good is being said.
Everything with them is blame whitey, Latinos, mulattos, Chinese, Indians, etc. Very insecure people who create post with half truths, lies hoping for other losers to validate their opinions so they can feel better about themselves. Then they wake up the next day still feeling like losers so they repeat the process. You can tell most of them have issues with a particular group of people usually it's white people, Latinos, or Jamaicans. They post nonsense about these people hoping someone will chime in and cosign. The hatred which include self hate is rampant.
