That site is deceiving viewers and members by using African American in it's description because it's filled with black foreigners and black digital face europeans. There's alot of Africans on this site and they hate black Americans but in particular light skin black Americans. The mods are Africans and whites who are biased against black Americans and censor their comments. That site also uses google search engine and violates Google Adsense rules because it's filled with racist hate speech. This was originally a site for African American women but it's no longer a safe space so very few are still there

Basically if you are a woman and not as dark as Lupita (or close) then you will not feel welcome (major "colorism"/racist debacle going on over there). To my main point: your average African American from what I've seen (and I'm well traveled) has a complexion within a broad spectrum of rich medium to light-medium brown tones, with exception to some geographic areas where there appears to have been little to no integration, and zero integration is not the common denominator for African-Americans, and thus overall they in general do not resemble full-blooded Africans at all. YET the site reads like it is designed for the venting of full-blooded black African women who are unhappy with their skin color and looks, and hate the looks of our attractive African-Americans, particularly the famous ones (aside from their "fan girling" of certain mixed-race celebs). Most African-Americans downplay their own white heritage (if known) and that of the many historical black figures who had (or still have) a white parent due to accepting the "one drop" doctrine; and I know for certain that obsessing over who has a white parent and then slamming them for it is actually a big no-no among mainstream African-Americans, and which is something that is frequently done on that site. Basically, it's not a reliable site to visit to gain AUTHENTIC and mainstream African-AMERICAN views.

She have made disparaging remarks about his family & friends. Defamation to his fam & friends. This is the type of women to end up on the news for murder.

I'll be the elephant in the room by posting an unpopular opinion here.

I'll admit that I joined this website because I always related to some of the women's insecurities regarding not feeling good about their appearance and being treated badly by men of their own race. The problem is that these women take their bitterness too far and it legit scares me.

I also think they worship white men simply just to spite black men and to feel better about themselves, and I think that's just plain weird and unhealthy.

I don't blame them for being unhappy with the way black women are treated in this society, but they come off as needlessly bitter sometimes about the situation (by putting other women down to feel better about themselves).

The website also started rubbing me the wrong way when I saw how hateful the fonts can be towards each other. The mods are also trash for allowing it to happen. I even heard that one of the mods revealed the identity of one font who posted anonymously about having an abortion, and the women attacked the poor font. They also can be such haters regarding topics, and they can also be psycho stalkers. The website is cancer and it needs to be shut down. They even go too far with their hate, and it's scary.

Lipstick alley is a place where angry insecure black women gather to vent their frustrations with being dark-skinned. It's obvious that most of them went through trauma as children and now suffer from mental illness. The African Americans attack, insult, and hate everyone, and attack and try to bully any black culture who they believe don't share the same hatred for other races that they do.

The black people in general on that site hate to hear anything positive about other black countries and will attack the country and people if anything good is being said.
Everything with them is blame whitey, Latinos, mulattos, Chinese, Indians, etc. Very insecure people who create post with half truths, lies hoping for other losers to validate their opinions so they can feel better about themselves. Then they wake up the next day still feeling like losers so they repeat the process. You can tell most of them have issues with a particular group of people usually it's white people, Latinos, or Jamaicans. They post nonsense about these people hoping someone will chime in and cosign. The hatred which include self hate is rampant.

Reading some of the reviews, you'd think that the African Americans have become a minority group and everyone is picking on poor them. Nope. The AAs have made life for everyone else on the website, especially Jamaicans, a living NIGHTMARE and they know it too. No one would dare insult them, but they're on a reign of terror.
I'm at a loss how a group of people can torture and bully others without no repercussions but somehow remain victims.

I once got a warning from the admin because I stood up to a poster who said something absolutely loathsome about Africans. I'm not even African. The comment is still there and the person didn't even get a warning.

Most of them will be completely blunt about how they think that you're worthless and they're better than you. They'll pretend to be another nationality just to get in their daily insults for the day. Many of them are hypocritical, insecure and have internal issues with their colour even though they accuse other groups of the same thing.

Oh, and it doesn't stop there. Most of the AAs on the website are racist towards anyone who isn't black. Several white people on the website who were there originally for the gossip have fled.

It's just one big cesspool of hate. Where does it end? A friend of mine who is white American once told me years ago not to mix with AAs, and I see why now. Joke's on me...

I joined this site in early 2013 because I wanted to be in an environment with more black women like myself, at the time I was living in a predominantly white area so had little opportunity for this offline. Back then the site had a lot more engaging discussion and a greater support network. It seems that each year the site goes downhill and in 2016 it truly took a turn for the worst when some absolutely psychotic freaks joined and changed the whole dynamic of the forum altogether. Topics became repetitive and overwhelmingly negative, harassment and bullying grew more intense and you now had to worry about having your real life identity being discovered because of some weirdos who devoted their whole time to stalking your posts combing through them for your personal information to commit to memory and saving every picture fonts posted so that they could dox them.

I was stalked continuously by a deranged unwell font who would follow me around the site and habitually track everything I posted for a duration of over two years, was completely obsessed with whatever was going on in my personal life (that I chose to disclose, withheld a lot of information), saving my pics and constantly messaging me about other forum members when I really did not give a damn and wanted to gossip about celebrities or talk about colourism for example. The back alley developed a gang of these depraved individuals (grown women in their 30s and over) who set out to continuously bully and harass members and the whole site culture became too toxic. LSA was never perfect but it was never this bad when I first signed up. I would not advise anyone to join this site now, I have not visited it for months and I'm all the better for it.

Lipstick alley is for people (mostly miserable black women) who hate themselves and their very existence. The average thread topic is about: White people, white women, biracial women, white women, black men who date non bw, white women or something that will end up turning into a stan war.

LSA makes all black women look bad because they display the same exact behaviors and stereotypes that are put on us (hateful/insecure/jealous/miserable/uncouth).

Mods are very biased and shady. Some fonts can insult you outside of the BA and get away with it while others are put in time out for doing the same things or even less.

Fonts also live vicariously through celebs that they consider "gorgeous". There's a lot of group think and when you have a different opinion you're labeled as white. If you're all about good vibes and high vibrations please don't visit this site, you will leave feeling drained and disgusted. They're the type of women I stay away from in real life. You know, the types that hate you and want to fight because you're lighter or just overall better looking than them? What a shame.

This site is NOT AA it seems to mainly be a bunch of foreign black people including Africans/Caribbeans etc that were born in the West. It's probably also one of the biggest reasons why LSA has fallen off so bad in recent years.

I was mentioned on this site and only know because about 50 people I didn't know found my Instagram and screenshot my story, all because my cousin who is an athlete liked an old picture of mine.

I have been harassed, defamed and stalked because of it. There's a stalker on this site and I had even changed my name slightly.

It's crazy to have your whole personality and being and looks judged by mentally unstable women who do not know you or your family.

Please beware of someone named HoneyBunz10 and tastelikehoney1015 on Instagram. It's really scary.

All tht information is wrong. I know deep in my soul that Trolletta who doxes ppls personal info on LSA for a living did this. Jus like that Megan Jones chick, Allysa, who now goes by the name RosieGold, Trolletta is another user who fake doxes users on LSA usin false info. Trolletta is a big ape lookin woman who is scary on the eyes, Trolleta is also a sexual predator, who preys on young women. Tht scary lesbo pedofile Trolleta hit on me 7 times and asked me 4 pics. A stalker called MelE5150 accussed me of bein a stalker but she was th one who is a stalker. She look like a toad and had the nerve to call me Sideshow bob. Melinda the ugly hard faced troll has triied to bully me off the site but I am not leaving.

This website is so annoying.

1. It takes FOREVER to be registered. You have to wait for administration approval before posting. This can take WEEKS. By the time you finally get approved to actually post comments you've already lost interest.

2. This website is the root of cancel culture and can be extremely racist at times. I'm a black person myself but this website is basically the most radical out of the bunch.

3. If they ban you, they don't do it the second you post something suggestive. It takes weeks for them to ban you for things. For example: I got banned for 4 different posts all at once and ended up getting banned forever. Obviously, had I known what I was saying broke the rules I would've stopped but instead, I was never notified and the mod filed the bans all at once.

4. They're not equal when it comes it comes to bans. I've seen users say some atrocious stuff but walk away untouched.

It's a mess! I really enjoyed the idea of the site: being able to comment on recent events going on in pop culture/the fact it covered politics/the fact it was an advice forum/the fact it covered Hollywood actors and YouTube stars all in one place. AND I loved the fact it was supported by the app "Tapatalk" which made it easier switching between forums like YTMD and GuruGossiper.

Desperately looking for another site to post on. Might try reddit but I'm not necessarily a fan of reddits display, its confusing
