I had a terrible experience very similar to 'Jenni N', below. Cancelling was way more difficult of a process than it should be. I requested to cancel immediately after receiving my first, crappy, box and they ended up charging me for my 'free' month (which I returned the box for) the next month, and then also for the ENTIRE BOX of that second month. Even though I returned all the items! They said it was their 'right' to do so. 'Customer Service' was abhorrent to interact with and refused to refund me for any of the subscription fees or the 'purchase' charges of the items I returned and never purchased in the first place... as a courtesy they said they could refund me in the form of 'purchase credit' (even though I was already cancelled and no longer even had an active account) OMFG! THIS COMPANY NEEDS TO BE REPORTED TO THE BBB.
I just wanted to cancel account and they make it impossible to do.
The only option in interface is to put account on hold for 2 months. I did it and also sent an email with ask to cancel account but their response got lost in "promotions" folder that I don't check carefully. I also think they didn't have their phone on their site at that moment.
Then suddenly I receive an email that they reactivated my account, charged credit card and my tote is ready to customized. Really? Okay, I sent one more email asking to cancel my account. Response is that i need call M-F 9am-5pm PST. Guess what, that's my working hours! Okay, I found a moment and called at 1pm weekday PST and... got voice mail that it's not their business hours.
This is awful customer experience. People don't have time to deal with your procedures. At all. If you're asked to cancel account, just cancel it, don't forward your FAQ and ask to call you.
I wanted to cancel my subscription because while the concept is great, the fact that the clothes are worn before makes the price tag of $40-$50 for a shirt that's been worn a bunch of times pretty steep. There are online thrift stores with better quality stuff for lower prices.
Anyway, I decided I wanted to cancel the account. I put it on hold for a few months to be sure, and then just before the hold was going to be up I went to the website to figure out how to cancel. Just like most of these online services you have to CALL to cancel while it takes just 30 seconds and a credit card number to sign up to begin with. I called the number on 3 different days and at 3 different times. The phones are constantly down for a team meeting. Staff meeting one day, the next day it's a team meeting, but never anyone to answer the phone. On the final day, I sent an email declaring that I would dispute all future credit card charges and report them to consumer agencies if they did not cancel my account. Then I called repeatedly for about half an hour until I got someone on the phone. While, I thought I might pick them up again later once I was feeling like I needed something interesting in my wardrobe again, after that experience I promise I will never give them another chance.
This company is THE ABSOLUTE WORST of all the internet companies doing this. I received a gift of $250 for Le Tote from a friend. When I went to the site to apply the gift card, they were offering 40% off of the first two months. When I tried to use the gift card and take advantage of that offer, they told me that I couldn't use two coupon codes. I said "I'm not using two coupon codes. I'm using a gift card which is CASH and the code on your site for discount on first two months." They refused to honor it. Then, I wanted to use the remainder of of my money on account to purchase a few items. I was told I could not do that. I asked "WHAT, WHY?"...I was told that I could only use my gift card money on account for an additional month of membership. Needless to say, I DO NOT WANT any additional shipments from them. They will get to keep almost $80 of my money. ADDITIONALLY...all but two items DID NOT FIT. I sent accurate measurements. They don't have a clue how their items fit. And, to top it all off...the clothing was pilled, wrinkled, and VERY POOR QUALITY.

So, I'm 3 months and several totes in and I'm obsessed... maybe a little addicted... but I LOVE it. I was worried I would have a hard time parting with items and maybe even buy a few and then get weary of the whole concept but I get so much joy out of having a bottomless rotating wardrobe. I even assumed I wouldn't get any use out of the accessories as I'm not much for buying/wearing a lot of jewelry, etc... but the fact that I just get to try it once or twice and return it is amazing! I'm dressing better than ever and getting a lot of compliments. I've had the opportunity not only to try on things that I may have never given a chance in the past but wear them out and about as many times as I like and that's a lot of fun. There have been a couple items I didn't wear at all because they didn't flatter my body type, and one that I simply couldn't wear to work because it was pretty short but most of the items fit surprisingly well and look great. I have yet to get a tote that that I accepted in it's entirety but I always find something I like to swap out - I will celebrate the day that their pick is spot on but given all the factors that I consider before approving my tote, that will be a near impossible task:-) I can't imagine quitting my subscription at this point and I'm even looking forward to getting some items to take on an upcoming vacation that I can return before I head back! More room in my suitcase for souvenirs!

1- I was disappointed with the initial selections but was able to swap out everything for items I knew I would like. I'm really hoping future selections are better as I like the idea of having items selected for me that I may have otherwise passed up.
That said, the most appealing thing is to be able to wear items I may never have walked out of a store with before deciding if i actually want to commit to them.
2 - the shipping was fast! I had my first tote in 2 days!
3 - I was really impressed with the packing. It was presented nicely and unbelievably nothing was wrinkly! I thought I was going to have to be doing some ironing or steaming. Not necessary! Everything I received was immediately wearable.
4 - No the clothes are not new. That's the deal duh. But the wear is not unreasonable. It's almost as if I've selected some items from a good friends closet to borrow.
5 - The fit is mostly spot on. I'm not even sure of my sizes right now so that's petty impressive. I've spent hours in stores unsuccessfully trying clothes on so to spend a few minutes picking out items to have shipped to my front door and I can actually wear them is a total win.
6 - I can't wait for my next tote to see if the selection, fit, etc get better but I'm excited to spend the next couple weeks seeing how many ways I can work these items into my wardrobe.
The idea behind Le Tote is great however the clothing options are limited. Styles do not vary and of the 4 items I would receive each time only 1-2 fit properly. Some of the clothing seemed cheaply made but way over priced and sizes are limited. The items in my tote never pulled from "my closet" and I ended up having to search through the same selection every time to get to the items I did like. I'm in the process of trying to cancel my account and it's not an easy process.
I'm not much of a shopper at all, and I needed to update my closet. They have a great selection to choose from too. I have kept several pieces that have sent, which is a difference from some of the other companies that are similar (stitch Fix, etc). You are able to wear the pieces, with no timeline of when you need to return to them, and they also wash the clothes for you. So for a busy person, who doesn't like to shop much, this is perfect!
