“First time customer and we will be back!”

I work for a school, and we have students in grade 9 - 12 using Chromebooks. Smashed screens are inevitable! I searched a bunch of sites, and this site had the best price and even offered discounts for repeat customers and got the quantity you order. They shipped that day and arrived super-fast. Already used one and it worked out great! Would 100% recommend them to anyone and will use them again i am sure for future purchases!

“1 star. Computer worked before installing the screen.”

Have no idea if the screen i bought even works. Installed it on my laptop. Now the laptop is not working. It also was suppose to be 2 day shipping and it took 4 days. If i can get the computer working I might be able to give it a score.

Looked at a few different sites before deciding to use LaptopScreen. The thing that led me to choose them were the buying tips and video tutorials.
Check out was easy. Delivery was fast.
My only complaint is that the screen I purchased has one teeny tiny white spot. Literally about the size of a pixel.
I won't send it back because the flaw isn't super annoying, but it would have been nice if it had been inspected before being shipped out.

Arrived with a broken piece. Poorly packaged as well. I used it anyways and it worked. Satisfactory at best.

The HP EliteBook 8460p Display was delivered quickly to Zurich/Switzerland. Thanks to the tutorial, replacing the display was a matter of a few minutes. Unfortunately, the background light brightness is rather poor compared to another 8460p I have (around 60%).

Thus, the total costs of around $80 was eventually rather high...

I was trying to replace 2 iPad Mini screens after they cracked. They were cheap and shipped very quickly, so I was happy! They arrived intact, and I followed the official Laptop Screens tutorial step by step. However, when I turned it on, it was broken. There were streams of light everywhere. After extensive research, I realized the problem lay in the fact that the tutorial
NEVER told us to UNPLUG THE BATTERY before we unplug the LCD. This caused a surge of power, blowing a fuse and therefore killing power to the LCD. My local repair guy told me it would be more expensive to fix the problem then to just buy a new one :( Plus, their 5 minute long tutorial took me 2 hours to complete when following it step by step. So overall, a great product with good shipping and packaging, but misleading tutorials that cost me my iPad mini.

LaptopScreen.com guarantees a working replacement or your money back!

Customer's described effects of "streams of light everywhere" do not correlate to the customer's diagnosis of "blowing a fuse and therefore killing power to the LCD". Had the fuse been in-fact damaged - there would be no light on the screen what-so-ever. The effects described are typical of a physically damaged LCD.

By the way - our tutorial is filmed on a live device and the iPad Mini tutorial shows the device working before and after full dis-assembly. A back-light fuse will not be damaged simply due to a disconnection of the connector - but the fuse may be affected if the connector is slanted or forced during reconnection by the installer. Customer is welcome to contact support to send the item back for a full refund:

The website looks super shady, but i do have to say they shipped it fast and it showed up functional. Maybe if it was a broken i would have had a hard time with the RMA, i dont know. There's a lot of negative comments on this site about them, anc most of the positive comments look like a crock of $#*!. It seems pretty obvious that this site is planting positive reviews. However, the lcd i bought was cheap, and it showed up on time and functional. Take your chances i guess.

Shipping was quick and this site is doing a good service by telling people how easy it is to change one's own laptop screen.
But they sent me a different model screen that the one I ordered. The screen works, but the site gives you the clear impression that you'll get exactly the same screen, and apparently do not always follow through on that.
That said, I was able to replace a broken screen for $70 (plus 30 minutes of my time) rather than $250 for a professional job. The videos are helpful. They do simply things a little bit. For example, you need a *very* small screwdriver to remove the screen, and it's tedious to replace the tiniest screws.

I had to replace the lcd on my out of warranty ASUS gaming laptop due to a white broken screen. It was hard to find a glossy, HD resolution (1920x1080), laptop screen for it but I found it at laptopscreen.com. It came promptly and I installed it. Only problem I found is that it has two stuck dead pixels. They would probably charge me return shipping if I tried to send it back so I decided I'll just live with it. I know that it wasn't from me because I am experienced when it comes to computer work and installing laptop lcd screens. Also, when hooked up to an lcd tv, all pixels were correct so I know it's the screen and not the video card. So... hence the 3 star rating. They should test all screens right before sending them out and this might be able to be avoided more. If they want to take care of the customer to get a five star rating and exchange the screen and pay for all shipping costs... I'm all ears. Feel free to contact me through this review.

I needed a new screen for my son's Toshiba laptop after he dropped it while walking around in his bedroom. Laptopscreen.com had an exact replacement, the lowest price I could find, and reasonable shipping. The part showed up 5 days later in perfect condition. I was very pleased to see the part was as ordered and it worked perfectly. I would definitely order from them again.

Better price than competitors, and super fast shipping... BUT the screen already has dead lines flickering occasionally:- / It's only been 1 month.

Hi there!
That is usually a sign of the video connector not being in all the way.
But if the screen is indeed at fault, please remember that you have another 35 months to return for exchange, under our 3 year warranty.

I received my lap top screen from this company a few weeks ago and my pc is up and running again, the only issue I had is that I paid for 3 day shipping and the package didn't arrive for like 5 days, which wasn't really laptopscreen. Coms fault, they shipped it when they were suppose to. All and all, the screen was new, I had no issues installing and I am satisfied. Hopefully they stand behind their warranty and this will be an awesome find!

There are pros and cons to this company. The pros are definitely the videos. My screen, successfully installed, has no hot spots or missing pixels. I did business with this site because of the videos, and they did help. I was fortunate to have a working computer beside my broken one, but if you can arrange to have that, you will definitely be able to save money. However, my experience was not perfect. When your screen arrives, it has a wire coming from that screen, which I should mention was ordered specifically based on my computer's brand and model number. This wire plugs in to your computer. After I had attached my computer to the frame, the wire was not long enough to reach to the little plug on my computer. When I contacted the company, they did indeed offer a replacement - after all the work was done except for the plug. You pack it up and send it back. Or, you could solder a wire extension onto the wire that was too short - AND THERE WAS A VIDEO ON HOW TO DO THAT! Apparently it happens all the time! I suspect this company carries only a few different screens, and if it doesn't fit your particular model number, you have to solder. It was only short by a half inch, but that was as good as a mile. So, if you are good with soldering, this company is great; if not, it might be a hassle. Once the screen was installed, the dim and brighten controls no longer worked. The company blamed that on an old driver, but it was not out of date. That supports my theory that the screen was not my specific one. The company did offer to send me a replacement wire (I cut the one off my old screen), and I said yes, to see what they would send. They actually sent an empty envelope! But, it was at least express mail. Weird.
