Having the right batteries at a fair price with free shipping is a good start. Unfortunately, I received one battery in seven days instead of the two I ordered. And the one battery was an extended run battery with different specifications(10.8 volts versus the 14.4 volts I wanted). Since I needed the battery and after speaking to this company, the battery is configured at the lower voltage for a reason? I kept the battery even though it stuck out of the back of the laptop. I asked about battery number two. It would take thirty days they stated. So after placing the order on July 1, I received battery number two on August 20. Battery number two did not exactly slip right in. I had to maneuver the little latch to get the battery to install properly.
The good news. Both batteries seem to be working properly. And I have folled the instructions that come with the batteries.
The not so good news. Had I known that the company did not have two batteries with right specs. In stock I would gone elsewhere. But no, they processed the order without ever stating that they didn't have two batteries. I also received an email that said that my laptops are old and that's why they had problems getting the batteries.
If you still want to purchase your battery here I would say to confirm that they are in stock and ready to go.
I will not recommend this company for all of the issues I have experienced.

I was hoping to get a 9-cell newly manufactured laptop battery for my Dell XPS 15 that Dell did not have. I wanted a 9- cell for longer use unplugged. Laptop Battery Express advertised this battery as lasting 5-6 hours. When I rec'd it, I followed their instructions to the letter. This battery has never lasted more than 3 hrs if that. If I had know this was going to be the case, I would have just purchased the 6-cell battery from Dell for less money and without having to have a battery thats sticks out and digs into my leg when I have my computer on my lap. ALSO, I purchased a supposedly new powercord for this Dell as my old has a little damage to it. However, when I plug in the on from LBE, it gives me an error message: "plugged in but not charging" WHAT IS THE POINT of paying $50 for a charger that can't charge?!?!? And it doesn't have any external light or other indication letting you know it's plugged in and conducting power. For that alone I would return it. I need to be able to quickly visually confirm my laptop power cord is plugged in and working. Definitely NOT worth the $49.95 LBE is charging. Even with a little Christmas sale.

WE'LL SEE HOW WELL THIS BATTERY WORKS -- THT'S THE MEASURE OF MY HAPPINESS.

Update: I finally got time to install it. I appreciated the complimentary screw drivers. My MacBook Pro recognizes the battery and reports that it is in good health and working perfectly. Same experience I would have if I went back to the vendor Mother Ship except I didn't have to listen to the Blue Smurfs and their Left Coast BS for 3X the price.

This is a much better solution! Very happy!
