One Laptop Per Child Reviews Summary

The company is generally viewed positively for its innovative approach to providing affordable technology, particularly laptops for children in developing countries, which is appreciated as a valuable educational resource. However, there are concerns regarding the perceived decline in product quality and updates, as well as the company's responsiveness and support, particularly reflected in the outdated website. Overall, while the mission to enhance global education is commendable, there are notable areas for improvement in customer engagement and product offerings that could enhance the overall customer experience.

Such a cool idea!

I remember when they started out, laptops were ridiculously expensive. The prices have dropped now and it's reflected in the fact they accept any donation now. Tablets may be more effective and cheaper. The website doesn't seem updated recently.

$100 laptop for children in developing countries--a very good idea - Food and healthcare are important, but laptops could provide children in developing countries with the ability to learn from, and communicate with, the rest of the world. And thereby give poor children the resources to one day provide all the food and healthcare their families and countries need.
