I try to read reviews before I order from a company. Every one I look at is negative. So, since I order from Land's End, I decided to check theirs. I'm stunned at all the negative comments.
I have ordered several times in the past few months. Items arrived promptly & as described. I got great sale prices on items. I haven't had to return anything, so don't know about that.
I ordered several Christmas gifts & everyone seemed very happy with them.
I recently completed an order on the LandsEnd website and was presented with a pop-up to win a free gift. I assumed it was legitimate because I had ordered from their website before with no complaints. I was asked to provide my card number to pay the $1.95 shipping fee for my for my free gift. I entered my debit card number only to find out my checking account had been drained to one cent the next day. I contacted LandsEnd the same day to let them know that an illegitimate web-site was using their trusted platform to steal from their customers and their response was underwhelming. It was basically, we do partner with other sites and if you got ripped off that's your problem. Please don't trust this web-site because they only have their own interests in mind not their customers! Also you should expect their products to deteriorate especially colors within weeks!
Lands sent us the wrong item so we called them & they said to send it back and they would replace it with the correct item. This is what happened: We sent the incorrect item back But when they sent us the correct one they charged us again. We now have (2) TWO charges on our credit card and they have not issued the credit for the returned item. This was their fault but they tell us that every time they send something out they have to charge the recipient but have (15) days to issue a credit. Will never do business with this outfit again! Their nothing but crooks. No wonder their stock is in the tank!
I ordered received the product returned it. They tried to screw me out of 65 bucks refunding only 44 dollars of the 120 dollar order. Put me on hold for ever. Said have to wait for refund after already been 4 mo. They are crummy employees too stay away they will rip you off
Purchased a Medium, in the Red color but it was sized just a bit small so I did have to exchange it for a large. My bust size is 38C and I'm usually a size 12 in a shirt. The size chart is the fabric cut not your measurements and they are not as reliable as they have been in the past. The color was a rich red not cherry pink which was nice. The fabric was slippery and smooth, no texture. The fabric was thicker than the name brand golf shirt at typical sporting goods stores. The collar and neckline were sewed nicely.
I. Ordered and item for 51.05. It did not work for me. I got a return of 34.56! Costing me 16.49 for NOTHING! I would not order from this store! Go to another sight! They are out to rip you off!
We visited the Mall of America Lands End this last weekend. We have not been to the MOA in over 2 years. We were in the store for quite a while. No one EVER asked if we needed assistance. As a matter of fact, our son was trying on a sweatshirt and a staff person was trying to get back to the register and he and his stuff were in the way. He said sorry and scooted out of the way. She said nothing, scowled at us and hurried by. No need to be rude.
Two days ago I received my new High Neck Tankini in the new color of Blackberry. I was so excited to have a new color to wear, but unfortunately after only two times of swimming in the pool, the color began to fade out. Little lines of lighter color on the front and back and around the neckline a very visible fade to almost brown has been noticed. I have other colors in this style and none have had this happen. I had ordered the bottoms too, but they were back ordered so I was able to cancel that. Very disappointing, I'm surprised that this Blackberry does not have durable color. Images below.
I have a credit card with Land's End and they give out $5 rewards when you spend a certain amount on line. Well I went to use mine, on the last day before it expired. Their web was down. SO I could not use. I emailed their customer service from their website. No word, the next day I tried again to use the reward, their website was down again. It just stuck, nothing happened. So I emailed them again from the website. No response. I called them a few days later and they said they see nothing, could not give me the $5, even though I spend quite a bit on Land's End. (I feel it is quite a bit, maybe they do not feel that or care). So the fact that They could not even give the $5 when it was only a few days past due and their web was down and said that I never contacted them, I will never shop from again. Canceling my credit card with them today.
There clothing fits weird and they take FOREVER to process a return. After all that, they won't even put it back on my debit card, but instead send me a gift card for the return balance, which I don't want because they suck.
I am shocked that any company has these kind of refund policies. I payed $45.85 for shoes that had to be returned because my husband could not even get his foot in the shoe.So they definitely were not worn! My refund was $29.07. I have never experienced this anywhere.We will not be shopping Lands' End.
I use to love Starfish pants. The waistbands were made from the same material of the pants but about 3 layers of it. They stayed put, never folded over, twisted or any of the irritating things elastic does. Now they have put elastic in the waist and my new pairs have developed permanent folds, they look ok out of the wash but when I get up from sitting, there's that fold. I don't know why they made the change but they took the most perfect pants and ruined them. Color me sad.

MISTAKE SENDING A SHIRT BACK WITH THE ORDER THAT I PAID ALOT MORE FOR THAN ANY SHIRT IN THE BOX. ALSO THERE WERE TWO SHIRTS LACKING WHEN I RECEIVED THE ORDER THAT I REQUESTED TEM TO BE SENT. ALL SHIRTS WERE MADE IN PERU! IF I EVER GET MY RETURN STRAIGHTENED OUT…… I MAY GIVE A MORE POSITIVE REVIEW.
Am on my third winter with the Squall. One suggestion: I have two outside pockets, not very large, for my winter gloves. Inside I have one small, dinky, hard to reach pocket. Probably my glasses are the only thing I can store inside. Also it looks like the zipper zips bottom to top. Most jacket zippers should be top to bottom. Disappointed overall with the pockets on my Squall winter coast.
Ordered gifts for my son and husband. Paid $20 for expedited shipping and received one of 3 items before Christmas. Wasn't happy with the quality and workmanship of anything I bought, so I had to return it all, losing another $7 for return shipping. So after I returned everything I ordered, I spent nearly $30 just to look at it and send it back. Then I got a preprinted credit card with my actual name on it, unrequested. I won't be using it nor ordering from Land's End again. Ever.
I've ordered quite a bit in the last year from Lands' End. I especially like their swimwear - many options, high quality, reasonable prices. I just purchased a down coat that is equivalent in quality to what I could get at LL Bean or Eddie Bauer and it was literally half he price. While I don't shop Lands' End clothing for more fashionable items, it's my go-to for classics, basics.

Ordered four shirts with my company's logo on November 07,2021 for extensive company travel starting January 10. I'm sure it's a fine product, but I won't find out until I don't need them, because Land's End took so long to deliver. I received a confirmation email the same day stating that one of the four shirts was back-ordered past that date. No big deal, I can get by with three shirts. Lands' End charged my credit card on December 22. I received an email on January 1 that my order was "on the way" and checked their website which said the order was shipped on 12/30. The problem was that the UPS tracking number didn't do anything until January 5 when I learned the shirts were not going to arrive until January 10. $190 worth of shirts I won't need. I am recommending to my company for another logo provider.
Entire family wore lands end clothes. I shopped almost exclusively Lands End for decades. I loved the style, fit, design, and quality of the clothing. The quality gradually decreased over the years, but in the last year plummeted from about 4-5 stars to 0 stars. There isn't much difference between Walmart quality anymore.
I tried to get information about a product and received more or less jibberish emails three times that did not answer my question although I continued to email back repeating the information I sought. The emails appeared to be written by non native English speaers who had no knowledge of Lands End products. The grammar read as though Google translate was used to compose the emails and perhaps to try to find the answer to my question. Very different from the days when one called customer service in WI and always received competent customer service.
Called your company on regards of a purchase through your website on December 30,2021. I received a message prior to this issue in which the representative who called me wasn't specific on her requests but asked to call you guys back.
I called and tried to speak with 2 of your representatives who had no idea what to do for me, I provided for both my customer ID number to better assist me and was clear about my question to the pertaining order, still didn't get any answers, the last representative called 2 different names during our called and I had to correct her several times. Once she seemed to find my order, she asked me for my Credit card number which I refused to give it to her since my order was placed a week over. I asked to speak to a manager and miraculously, was told by the same representative that her manager was going to take care of it and that the Credit card wasn't needed again.
Somewhere down the line your line of customer service wasn't properly trained, I would suggest for you to improve your team and provide professional, accurate and effective assistance. It is a shame that a business company consists of inproper personnel.

Answer: Beware of Lands End's current "free" shipping scam. We get emails almost daily from Lands End offering discounts on certain items or even any item they carry and the have also been offering "free" shipping. Of course almost every online shopping site is offering free shipping right now. The difference between all other sites/sellers free shipping is that they will either give it to UPS, FedEX, or the USPS and those people make the actual delivery to your door in a few days. I'm assuming it is an effort to save money Lands End "free" ships packages via UPS BUT only to your closest major postal facility and drops all the "free" shipments there. It is then up to the USPS to sort everything and deliver the package to your home. This can result in a delay of from several days to a week or more. Our latest purchase was dropped at the sorting facility on 12/5. From there it needed to be sorted and delivered to the mail facility that handles home mail deliveries. Bottom line is that we didn't get the delivery until 12/9. That is after leaving the Lands End warehouse on! 2/2. I get shipments from LL Bean or Amazon purchases delivered in 2-3 days. The response we got after questioning Lands End was that if we want deliveries in 2-3 days we would have to pay for shipping. Considering the delivery times I get from other sellers offering free shipping, I think Lands End is misleading customer's expectations of "free" shipping. Come on Lands End, I want that big brown truck to bring my packages to my front door and want it to be REALLY free or you have lost a long time customer.
Answer: I don;t know about knit pants but I have had the Starfish for a couple of years now and they don't become baggy--just a little but they bounce right back after washing. I was very happy with mine, went to get a new pair and ended up with a pair I cannot wear. Dismayed to find that returns are too complicated (expensive, too) so will be getting out the sewing machine to make them fit (they are huge in the thigh). I think the problem lies with having ordered Tall. The old pants are just Regular. Be careful about sizing!
Answer: Several years ago i ordered 5 bridesmaid dresses from LE. I had to send two back for a different size. The replacement dresses were a slightly different shade of the color. Then had to send all 5 dtesses back to get all same color. What a mess!
