LabCorp is a scam. I paid for a test and was told I could go to a lab 32 miles from my house, which was okay since we live in a very small town. After I paid for the test I called them for an appointment and was told they are a third party lab and cannot accept me as a LabCorp patient. I was told I have to go to a lab over 100 miles away. When I contacted LabCorp "customer service" they were unbelievably rude and no help at all. I was on the call for 45 minutes and most of that time was on hold. Finally I asked for a supervisor and was put on hold once again. The next thing I knew I was connected to an even ruder person who said I was speaking to Pixel and they are not associated with LabCorp which, of course, is an outright lie. When I would talk to this person she would not respond and finally I would say "are you still there?" She would say "yeah, what do you want?". Rude, just plain rude!
Don't waste your time! After waiting in line for over an hour, they told me they were out of the equipment to perform the urine tests. Annoyed the next day, I went to another location and gave a urine sample. The following day, they called me, telling me they had dropped the cup, yep, and that I needed to come back and take the test again. So again, I get in my car, wait in line, and when I finally get into the room, they tell me they are again out of the equipment to test my urine and advise me to another location. I called Labcor to get a refund. I explained the full situation and they said they would give me a full refund. After a few weeks, I noticed the amount was never deposited in my account so I called back and this time they said they would only give me a 10% refund since they said some of the tests were done. Total waste of time. Never again will I use such a joke of a place.
Tech turned me away as I attempted to drop off a specimen by the lab corp tech - the woman was readily visible and the door was open. I believe I was 3 minutes after closing.
I explained to the tech that this was our third drop off because we didn't get the correct specimen containers the first two times.
She did not care.
The phlebotomist was so rude, there are no words to explain it! Lab Corp definitely doesn't care about their customer service or she wouldn't work there any longer! She had clearly no patience with disabled patients. Going to Quest next time! They care.
This review is not indicative of all LabCorp facilities, but merely the lab core in Milwaukee Wisconsin.
I am sitting in the parking lot of your Milwaukee office. I was here at 4:26pm 5/7/21. You don't close until 4:30pm, but I was met with this(see photos). Puzzled, I looked up the times to make sure. I knocked on the door, and the phlebotomist answered. I said it's not 430 yet why are you closed? She said it's too late, I'm already closed up and punched out. I said it's not 430. She said her boss lets her leave two minutes early. You should have somebody in your business at 4:30 if your sign says you're open until 430. The lady was rude. If this is the kind of people that you hire to be your customer service representatives for your company, then I am very happy that there are other laboratories for people to choose.
I would just like to say that I've had a lot of lab testing is done in Palm Springs California LabCorp, and I never had issues with them.
Low standard, uncaring, crowded. The hostility and low-grade attitude of staff means the corporate treat them badly which is reflected in their attitude towards the patients. Quest is of higher standard. Avoid LabCorp if you can. They do get the government contracts more often, which explains their poor attitude and low standard.
Lab results take for ever in Labcorp. Will never do my lab work in this place ever again. Done lab work many times different places lab work usually at the longest a week. It's been almost 2 weeks no lab results so far.
I went to complete bloodwork Saturday 11/30/2019, the receptionist somehow mixed up my information with my twin sister's information. When I realized, I called LabCorp but no one answered. I called again Monday but no answer. I went in person today Wednesday 12/4/19 before work mind you. And the receptionist said I have to call their customer service line and provide a requisition number. So i called them and a rep said my doctor has to call. So that was mixed info. Then when my doctor did call, they were told I'd have to go in AGAIN to redo my bloodwork. Seriously my time has been wasted and now I'm expected to drive back there? Check the info the first time. This isn't the first time someone mixed up our info. Just because we are twins. Better training needed.
I am terrified of needles and Kentrice was amazing. I barely felt the needle go in and my vials were filled before I knew it. I nearly passed out looking at the vials, but Kentrice and Shondre were quick to get me water and an ice pack and take care of me. Thank you ladies. What a great experience!
There has been some mix up between by Lab and my Physician, and Insurance regarding my payment for routine bloodwork. This should have been a free service provided by the physician, but somehow I ended up getting billed. Then, Labcorp sent my bill with personal information to my family member when they failed to deliver it to my current address. When I called them to correct this, the customer service was completely unhelpful in helping my resolve the address issue, and tried to harass me on bill pay when I had in fact already paid the bill, when I shouldnt have gotten one in the first place! It's clear that this is a company and culture that has no accountability for its staff or release of patient information, and doesn't care about anything as long as they get paid. I wish there was a worse review than 0 stars. Rude, hostile, and uncooperative.
Labcorp failed to live up to the statement on the labcorp website "Results are delivered to your Labcorp Patient account at the same time they are reported to your healthcare provider (unless state or federal laws restrict timing of delivery)."
Furthermore Labcorp failed to respond to my repeated inquiries. Lab results were properly released to the requesting doctor but not the patient. Knowing what the doctor knows enables the patient to review the lab results and prepare questions in advance for the doctor regarding test results that require further understanding.
Reporting the lab results in the Labcorp patient portal at the same time the results are communicated to the doctor does not take unreasonable effort. Responding to patients inquiries should be standard business practice.
Go to Lab Corp if you want to hear… It's not my job, that's corporate not us, I can't do that, you can't do that, I don't know (with no alternate solution)… and then just a bundle of mean ladies talking about customers and bossing people around as if their paychecks are not being paid by those who enter through the doors of their office. A+ unprofessional behavior and out right miserable human beings. I can see by the reading that this will not come as a surprise to most people who have visited a Lab Corp facility. Three visit strike out - specially the location off Johns Creek Parkway in Alpharetta.
One person doing paperwork and drawing blood. I had to wait an hour even with an appointment. I believe my vein was broken deliberately by the tech even though she used a butterfly needle. I still have a bruise after almost 2 weeks. I probably shouldnt have told her I wouldnt be back.
Called *******4722. The lady is very mean. Then told me I can not get my test result from the lab. Only way to get it from my family doctor. I do my blood test every year and get the result from labs every year. This is I first time to use the lab, very bad feeling!
The kiosk to check in would not scan the QR code sent. Then it asked to scan ID and insurance card. It asked for back side up, then asked to scan the back (scan was from the top.) The card could not be read in any direction. I tried. Then I asked a question to the only employee who stepped in to get a patient. When the receptionist returned, she said that the person to whom I spoke "didn't work there" which was a lie. I didn't get blood drawn for doctor because of her refusal to help me.
The location was hard to find, the door was locked when I arrived for my 7:30am appointment, the staff was not very nice. They asked if I had an appointment when I said yes asked are you sure it was this location, yes, acted like I was wrong and bothering them, mind you no one else was there. The girl drawing the blood was unable to get blood on the first try then proceeded to stab the needle into my other arm causing a sharp pain throughout the draw, will never go there again.
They didnt validate my insurance prior to my appointment. I was referred to them by my doctors office for in house coverage. They tried to shift the blame onto my doctors office after sending me a notice saying my insurance denied coverage after they took my blood without verifying Blue Cross Blue Shield does not cover them in the entire state of Florida. They are sending me to collections for $878.00. Had I known it would cost 878.00, I would have declined the work. They are only willing to settle at 50%. To pay them 50% is like saying this is 50% my fault. It's 100% their fault, and they should eat the costs. I refuse to pay. Report me to the Credit Bureau, I will dispute. I also believe the media needs to be involved due to this companies outrageous billing practice, which is ultimately them trying to take advantage of me during a world wide pandemic.
I had a patient complaint because labcorp resulted the wrong test. There is no real person to talk to about this and the patient not only had to pay for the wrong lab but never got her record corrected.
Shame on you lamecorp.
Waited 3 weeks to get my lab work done request by my doctor. Show up on time and no one is there suppose to be open at 8:00AM appointment is at 8:15 and a line of people waiting, waited tell 8:30am and left still no one there get an email when I get to work stating (Good morning due to unforeseen circumstances we will have to cancel your appointment today) not even a call from someone to help to get me in sooner or reschedule it for me. I contact my doctor and said this place is horrible I need another place to go they wasted my time for 3 weeks along with me having to fast for 12 hours and missing two hours of work which I should bill them for since I get paid by the hour. What a joke take care of your patients that come to you and I feel bad for all the other people that waited around all morning for nothing also... complete joke do not use them.
The technician did not draw enough blood to perform all the tests that were ordered by my doctor. Sounds like a joke but this really happened. So I'll be headed to Quest to complete the bloodwork. Smh
Answer: I have same question here, no training, but still get paid. Why? Because people allow them
