I am not leaving the country or getting on a plane, entering a Federal Building. So what's the point! I am born and raised USA citizen and am totally offended by this tactic... Besides your front office staff at the South Street, Lakewood, CA address is the most rude individuals If ever encountered... And I have spent 60 years working in Medical Offices and still do... We would replace any one that does not have any compassion for the Elderly and Ill
I just had my first lab draw at the LabCorp office on Bob Hope Dr in Rancho Mirage CA.
It was a pleasure and must say the nurse who drew my blood was sincerely caring, respectful and so polite that I felt it necessary to tell as many people as possible. Kind, considerate caring people really need to be recognized.
Kudos for making it a wonderful experience!
Thank You
Sure do wish I knew the nurses name who did the blood draw?
During COVid, LabCorp sent a threat to turn us into collections due to having a "seriously" overdue account. The fact is we made payments on the HUGE bills during COVID to make sure we were in good standing. Without any income coming in, the minimum amount we paid was $100. All other payments were more. They would rather get the money in one payment than to let us spread it out. It is my opinion, that they don't care about people, and by looking at there website, they are only on a big sales push to sell their COVID tests. We have spent thousands at this lab over the years and have always paid. I would not recommend never using them. I'm not surprised by the low overall rating.
First, you have to do their job on the reception. I guess they expect everyone to be computer literate. Secondly, if they have to assist anyone? Well, now they are more rude. And then, they discuss your financial business in front of everyone and even though you have insurance they will not do the test unless you pay some up front. I never heard of anything like this.
I registered online and checked in online. Went to Sun City Center office on October 7,******* and was required to fully complete the same info I had completed online. The sign-in station was worn and not able to accept inputs easily. Asked for help and was told to use the Kiosk and complete the info again. After 30 minutes of this go around I left. Not professional, no customer service or helpful staff.
Considering most use this on-site lab for employment required drug screening involving urine tests in person.
Having an appointment time should have you taking that test within 15 mins of the time.
Making you wait 50 minutes past your appointment time to take the urine test (while you have already been holding it in for a bit), coupled with keeping the a/c so cold and your holding it in... is extremely inconsiderate and a bit sadistic. Do they not realize the discomfort and for some people the pain this causes?
Please review your appointmeny and procedures to be more considerate
I was greeted by a rude person. The technician was non verbal and likely did not change gloves between patients. The jab was very painful. The bathroom is beyond filthy. There is nowhere you can call to complain. It is shameful that such a filthy, disgusting place is allowed to operate as a medical facility. I will complain to my doctor who usually refers me to Davies Hospital for blood tests. Sorry I didn't take pix.
The hiring manager for Microbiologist lab in Miami location was very desrespectull. After I had a phone interview with her, she emailed Talent management and copied me. She said that I was nothing different of a regular other tech. She did not review my master background. She also said that I was very personable which I still don't know what she means. I suggested that hiring decisions could send via email as hire or not hire. People don't deserve to receive a such offensive and unprofessional feedback.
Reviewing the LabCorp in Newton Plaza, Loudonville, NY. Give it a 1 star because I had no other choice. Awful experience. Waited 20 minutes, the front desk person was in the back "chatting." When she came she was obnoxious and that is being kind. I left and called the corporate office to ask them why they would have someone like her working for them. The lady at the corporate office said that LabCorp has a difficult time retaining employees/difficult time finding good employees - so turnover is high and they "get what they get" (her words). She told me that they knew that reviews for LabCorp across the country were bad. So I guess I had a typical experience. Sad.
Carol Elnaqqar, front desk and Luz lab technician are excellent! The receptionist was very helpful and very pleasant. Luz, who drew my blood, found a vein in my arm immediately. Normally, it has to be taken from my wrist with a "buttery" needle. I left feeling good about my visit.
The payment center customer service i not to be dealt with by a amateur. These people are rude, smart $#*! people. I've never had such a big problem before paying someone money. This company rely needs to revaluate their customer service training.
They should shut down and go home.
A C. Diff test took 8 days. In the meantime I was hospitalized. A friend's Covid test took 8 days. Why does anyone use them is beyond me. Horrible company to deal with.
They don't understand that they are dealing with sick people.
They should be sued by everyone who did not get results in a timely manner.
Labcorp lost my wife's lab test results, not one time but three times. Even when doctor office called they could not locate the results. When I told them that I got it confirmed from Labcop Arcadia CA office that urine and blood sample were collected. They than looked into their records were able to locate the results and admitted their fault.
Problem is many testing labs have been consolidated into Labcorp. You guess the rest.
I feel like my Saturday was ruined by their negativity. I have insurance and even with that I was asked for my credit card so if the insurance company doesn't pay, they'll charge me $50. But the wording on the page doesn't match what the clerk said. You'll only be charged $50. But the paper says Should there be any remaining balance after your credit card is charged, LabCorp will bill you and you will be responsible for paying these remaining charges. Do these people have transparent prices with legal wording like this? Or do they charge different people differently? Then the guy drawing my blood was asking me what my deductible is so he could justify my card being swiped. I never pay my doctors day of unless it is a copayment. It's incredibly shady. I've made a mental note of every word I spoke with these people just in case.
Advised to show up 15 minutes early and text arrival. 45 minutes later received text to come in and wait unti name is called. Email said doctors orders on phone were preferred but printed out would be accepted. After sitting in crowded waiting room, posted for maximum 11 and with 20 waiting, for an hour and a half I visited the receptionist and asked if my name had been called and I had not heard it. She said show me your paperwork, I showed her my phone, she said it had to be printed out... I said good bye. Worst place I have ever been, people sitting on the floor, waiting room crowded, dirty and staff abrupt and seemingly incompetent. My advice is, if presented you have to have lab work from this dump or die, just die.
Since the takeover of all labs in the area by LabCorp, getting lab work done is less fun than a root canal. LabCorp will bill for the same work several times in what I believe to be an attempt to get their customers to over pay. There is no way to talk to a person outside of the lab technicians and they can do nothing about billing. The number to call for questions only has options to pay a bill or schedule a payment plan. There is no option to talk to a person. I am going to start leaving town for my lab work. I do not recommend ever using LabCorp for anything.
I had an appointment. I am 70 years old, fasted since midnight. Arrived on time and checked in. LabCorp did not call my name. I spoke with desk personnel. She took the lab requisitions and my insurance card. Promised to text me in my car. Did not text me until 2 1/2 hours after my appointment time. Her attitude and demeanor was mean, apathetic, complaining, uncaring. I left, never had my blood drawn. She took other patients before me who appeared to be walk-ins although I had an appointment made weeks ago. She seemed to discriminate against me.
LabCorp invites you to submit email inquiries - but it is fake. Although you get a nice acknowledgement with an inquiry number that states LabCorp will "connect you with the best person on our team to address what you need" in fact you will not get any support in response to your inquiry. Instead, after wasting your time to complete the form and waiting for the response, you will get a second email from LabCorp a few days later acknowledging that they will not be responding or providing any customer service as they initially stated. Instead, the email directs you to start over by contacting the customer service phone line. That would have been nice to know at the time so that I did not waste my efforts with a fake form and wait for fake customer service. I will not be using LabCorp.
My recent experience with LabCorp was worse than "HORRIBLE" and I was am not surprised to discover others had given them an overall shinning 1.4 rating!
The local office never answers the phone, never returns a call, gives you inadequate information on who to contact for test results, and it took three faxes from my doctor before they finally acknowledged they had my test request.
The most frustrating experience I have had in a long time and the Corporate Office must not be paying attention and or managing the improvements needed. Until improvements are made I would recommend using any other available service.
This company Bought out a small one that was local in my area the Quad cities Illinois and Iowa. One out a small one that was local in my area the Quad cities of Illinois and Iowa The local people that work there are very nice and friendly, however the company is horrible! Customer Service is a joke and even when you call Lynn they don't have any of your information. It's taken two weeks now for me to get results that I needed because my doctor was out of town and I take medication based on my blood work. I wish they would leave the area and someone else will take over for them absolutely the worst lab company I've ever used.
Answer: I have same question here, no training, but still get paid. Why? Because people allow them
Answer: Its sent out, they are just a profesional AQUIRE BUSSINESS FOR ALL THAT THEY GIVE SERVICE FOR
