I signed up for Kicksta's yearly plan thinking it was an alternative to fake followers and a more legitimate marketing tool. The homepage says "smart automation," but the real method (automated follow/unfollow actions) is tucked away in help articles. That's a risky practice that goes against Instagram's Terms of Service.

I attempted to cancel within minutes and disconnected my Instagram. I never set targeting and never used the service, yet low-quality followers still started coming in. The cancellation button didn't work. It routed me to support, who said they couldn't cancel yearly plans. Billing was supposed to reply within 24 hours. It took almost six days, and when they did respond, it was a template-style message referencing "merchant laws" instead of addressing anything I said. Their final offer was only a 50 percent refund and the rest as forced credits.

For a service canceled immediately and never used, that was disappointing. I've disputed the charge with my payment provider. Based on other reviews on TrustPilot (where they have a 2.2 star rating with 620 reviews) and their D+ BBB rating, my experience isn't unique.
