I bought a cane corso mastiff from keystone puppys payed 1200. 00 my first dog I ever bought... within 13 months she ripped both her ACL's that was ******* to repair then at the age of 4 1/2 was diagnosed with bone cancer in her front leg and was but down 2 months later at a cost of over 1000. I have owned 8 dogs in my life and none of them had health problems like this. I spent more money in vet Bill's for this single dog then I have on every dog I've owned. Very poor breeding. Even my vet said that most of her conditions where caused by bad breeding. Will never buy another dog from you guys

Dealing with Shawn and Shanna to get my puppy from PA to AK was much simpler than I thought it would be. They took care of everything and she was in great shape when she arrived and showing no effects. They picked the puppy up from the breeder took care of the vet checks, airline, shipping crate and loving compassion for the puppy. To work with! My husband and I drive down to Ronks to visit with the pups first to make sure we were comfortable with the puppies. They were being carried around by his children and in the house with other animals which made me feel comfortable that they were being socialized. We made our decision and put our deposit down and David was nice enough to hold them for me for almost 3 weeks until I could pick them up right before Christmas! The puppies were clean, healthy and beyond adorable!
We were a little apprehensive about getting our little pup online but let me tell you... the experience was great. We picked out our puppy and spoke with the breeder, Levi, several times on the phone with him answering all of our questions. Since we live in Louisiana and the puppy was in Pennsylvania we worked with Shawn on shipping details. Levi and Shawn worked out all the details and everything went smoothly. We did have some delays of flights but Shawn kept us informed the whole day. We were greeted at the airport by a sweet, healthy, social mini Goldendoodle. I would totally recommend Keystone Puppies.

We purchased a mini golden doodle named Bear from the breeder Daniel Beiler. They were very helpful through the whole process and communicated awesomely. We live in Iowa so they coordinated the flights and got him safely to us before Christmas. I felt they went above and beyond!
The puppy named Daisy at the time was 10 weeks old and full of life. We took Ginger, her new name, to our vets for a physical and she was in perfect health and even more rambunctious and full of love than ever. A friend gave me a ride to Pennsylvania to get the puppy and unannounced he purchased a strong healthy male now named Brutus. The 4 of us headed home to the Berkshires about 7 hours away and it was a glorious trip despite the weather. Definitely would recommend Keystone Puppies and their breeders. Ginger at 11 weeks old is house trained, stays until her food is prepared, sits on command, shakes hands with both paws, lays down on command and comes running when called by name. Not bad for 11weeks.

Shawn and his family have an excellent business connecting people with their new puppies. I was sceptical but Shawn communicates everything very clearly and I was in constant contact until the puppy was in my possession. I've never met the Hostetters at Keystone but they seem to be very down to earth honest people. As for my puppy, he is exactly what I was looking for and more. He is extremely playful and full of energy, very healthy and great with my young kids. Overall couldn't be happier with this experience.
I am glad my puppy was able to socialize with children from the the start. Elizabeth answered all my questions and even game me a piece of cloth with the puppy's mom's smell so she will be calm while adjusting to her new surroundings.

We are incredibly troubled to hear about your dog. I am so sorry that you had these issues with. I have done research on ACL problems and there seems to be many different causes for this. It would be very beneficial to know who the breeder was and how long ago you purchased the dog so we can look into the matter. As far as the Bone Cancer goes - current knowledge of the disease is not linked to genetics but it does appear more often in large breed dogs.
