My experience was great from start to finish. After I ordered my lock, I received a phone call to tell me my lock would be delivered a day early. Then, after I received the lock, I had questions about installation. When I called, the phone was answered after the phone hours had ended and then the person stayed on the phone for over 30 minutes with me to make sure that I was happy with the installation and the lock was functioning as it should. If only all companies had this good a Customer Service.
But, I think that I squished my remote. I was frustrated when it didn't work due to a dead battery. Huh, you have to replace those once in a couple years. (DUH!) I called their service department direct and they were excellent about it. They exhausted all efforts to revive it and all to no avail. Had my hopes up, but no dice. Back to TheKeylessLockStore,, ALWAYS great and helpful! Fast shipping too!
Being new to Keyless Entry locks (although I do remodels all the time) I was able to quickly read a page on this site & determine exactly what kind of lock i needed and easily found all information for the specific lockset even w/ video instructions! I like the concept but I don't like the fact that you have to push another button to re-lock the door is somewhat disappointing. I bought the for some elderly relatives who have trouble with new things and can't seem to remember to push the button to re-lock the door once they have access. Also, action on the door knob is rough and very slow.
Hi Mark, Thanks for letting us know how you feel. It sounds like you might have a dead bolt lock is that correct? These have to be locked manually each time the door is closed. However,. We also have locks that lock automatically. These are called latchbolts locks. These will lock on their own every time you close the door unless you put them into what is called passage mode. I was looking to purchase an electronic lock for a pocket door in my office and was unsure as to what would work or what wouldn't work. The woman I spoke to at the Keyless Lock Store was amazing. She guided me through the entire process, explaining every lock that would work and the differences of all of them. Her knowledge gave me the information that I needed to make an intelligent decision on which lock to purchase. I would highly recommend this company and their products.
The online store worked exactly as expected. Easy to navigate, easy to identify the lock we needed for our application. The shipment was prompt and arrived on the date we were told.
The lock itself is high quality. However, the instructions were not very helpful. Parts were not easily identified and were grouped in bags that had nothing to do with each other. Extra parts were included without explanation. Our lock is a double keypad, but the instructions given were clearly for a single keypad.
The instructions say in bright red letters that helpful tips were available on the lockeyusa website, but the only thing available on the site were the pdf files for the instructions that were shipped with the lock. I had to find a youtube video from an unrelated individual to explain how to change the combination. Installation turned out to be easy but only after I figured it out for myself without much help from the instructions.

Sandra helped me figure out what parts I needed and put me through to Trevor to make sure I got what I needed. My only dissatisfaction is that the screws I needed were not sent free of charge, even though I had spent $150 on other parts for 3 doors, but this is a beef with the company, not the staff who helped me.

USPS stated on their site that the item was put on or in my mailbox, observed the mail person pull up to box and put items inside. I walked up and opened box after the mail person drove away and item had not been delivered. Waited and checked the following day and again no item as USPS site had said it had been delivered.

Great product. Works well. Easy to use. Well made! I paid the extra $ to have locks preprogramed with a code since I bought 4 and wanted them all th same. I am using the C150 on a set of two barn doors. Couldnt be hapier.
