I recently had a small issue with one of my orders (it happens with any company) and was impressed by how quickly the customer service worked to resolve it.
Normally, I don't write reviews for companies/products unless I'm really upset about something, but I'm making an exception here for KEH because I'm very happy with them.
Purchased a Sigma lens from them using a coupon they sent me. Their website accepted the coupon, except it applied 1/10th the value it was for. Called them about it and they rudely denied to honor the coupon, but admitting they were aware of the issue with their site, accepting coupons that they choose not to honor. Customer service was deplorable;the worst I have experienced in recent history. Will not be doing business with them in the future and recommend you do the same.
Awesome quality and delivery! This exceed my expectation.KEH team was really on its toe when giving quality status of an item- they never fail their valued customer. This is my 6th photography gear/ item from KEH for the past 15 months.
I don't usually buy "ugly" lenses on-line because of the fear of them being optically compromised. Specially when dealing with expensive ones, I don't like to gamble with that much money. But knowing KEH and their grading system I can rest assured they will be good.
I have been a customer off and on, for the past 30 years. My purchase arrived in 4 or 5 days, it was packed as if the lens was an egg. There was several layers of bubble wrap which protected it very well. The lens is working perfectly and looks new.

I can't believe I didn't know about this website. I'm so happy with my purchase. Camera looks great and the lens. Everything works as it should and shipping was great. Definitely buying from here again.
I initially put off ordering a lens because their estimate was over a week for shipping for the basic/free delivery. I finally decided to order on a Tuesday around noon. The confirmation email stated 3-4 days shipping. Later the same day I got another email stating it had been shipped and would arrive next day (im in the Atlanta area). Sure enough, by 9 am Fedex was at my doorstep with the lens. The lens was exactly as described. I can not recommend KEH enough and would certainly purchase again without hesitation.

Buy used gear with confidence at fair prices via KEH. Much better experience than ebay and comes with 180 warranty as standard, with extended warranty options.
Camera arrived in great condition and met / exceeded expectations based on KEH grading system. Only complaint was packaging where there was no padding between camera and battery charger, the battery charger was packed up against the rear screen just in a different plastic bag.
My product arrived and worked just as described when purchased which was a relief. I always get nervous buying used but I was glad it all went through fine and worked correctly. This gives me more confidence to continue to shop with KEH :)
I'm happy with my purchase! Product came as described and I had to chose 2-day shipping (due to holiday weekend and fear of not getting the lens in time for my trip). Lens came a day early and was in safe packaging! Will definitely order from KEH again in the near future!
Find some great deals with KEH. If you have questions they have very knowledgeable staff to give you an answer. I have found some great deals on camera bodies and lenses. Their rating system is in my opinion is fairly accurate.
First time ordering from the site bought a sigma Lens in excellent condition and it surely is! I am very impressed. Shipping was extremely quick as well. I will definitely be purchasing more from KEH in the near future.
If you insist on charging to return the package, and many other retailers don't, at least generate the label and deduct like B&H. Making me go to USPS or ups to create and pay for label is lousy.
And if your photos were better and more clear what the product really looks like I would have seen the straps better and not ordered them in the first place. You are a photo store and can't put better photos on it?
KEH is without a doubt one of the most trustworthy used camera sellers on the planet. Most importantly, I know I can trust their grading system to get exactly what I'm paying for. No guessing about the condition of the gear based on how many "+"s come after the EXC++++. I know that bargain grade will be more than clean enough for my needs.
When the lens I ordered arrived, it had a front ring that kept coming off. I called KEH, and described the problem. I was given a return authorization and sent the lens back. Traveling now, but I expect my replacement lens to be there when I get home. Typical treatment at KEH. You have a problem? Contact them and you'll get a solution. Seems to be fine. Grid glass has a chip in lower left corner that was not noted in description, despite excellent rating (or perhaps I didn't read thoroughly). A little surprising that KEH would not mention this given their reputation. Unlikely to affect image capture. Needs just a little cleaning. Nevertheless, a good deal on a quality camera.
This would have been a 5 star rating, except for the actual arrival of my purchase. KEH is always the first place I look for top quality used camera gear. In this case, I found what I was looking for, at a good price. The free shipping offer applied and that was my selection. Paying to get the camera a few days earlier was not a consideration. Unfortunately, FedEx was the carrier. The package arrived on a rainy day. There was no attempt to bring it up to my house. Instead, I found it in a position on my wet lawn where it could have only been tossed over my fence. The box was already wet. Fortunately, the rain didn't get really heavy until about an hour later. Looking at the tracking info online, the driver lied and said the package was left near my door. It was probably 30 feet away. Bottom line? Choose another carrier if possible, if the paid option so indicates. Fortunately, the camera was well packed and is fully functional.
