Even if you cancel the video vault the day you buy it, some months have less than 30 days in them so you'll be charged a second month no matter what. It's 3 videos a month, each only 90 seconds in length, where in many of them they try to sell you more karambits or just joke around. How do they think people deserve to pay for more ads? People buy this thinking there'll be valuable instructional material. There's a little instruction but it's not valuable - it's very contrived and the scenarios are overly specific. Nothing about how to hold a karambit or general principles. I also made the mistake of ordering a knife that was listed as shipping August 1st. I went to their site to check on it, and was surprised to see the batch now said it's shipping on August 4th. I asked support when it is shipping, and they said the date is just an estimate, which isn't at all clear from their site. I've requested an order cancellation and refund so I can get the knife elsewhere, like on eBay, where at least I can go through a reputable seller.
Ordered and hadn't seen the knife so checked my order. Apparently, though not noted anywhere, the knife was a preorder with no anticipated date. Contacted customer service but never received a reply. Not going to waste my time going through the bank but I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau today. Probably boils down to just me getting screwed. Best thing I can do is this review with hopes someone will see it before wasting their money - I'll never see my money again.
They talk a good game on the internet. Flashy even! But if you order something do not expect to see your knife. They delay, They provide instructions, They blame you and your computer!. Lastly they say you are the scammer for asking for a refund. Save your money buy on someplace reputable like Ebay!.
Very slow to deliver and when the package finally came THERE WAS NO KNIFE IN IT, only a packing slip. Karambit customer support said that it was not their fault and I would have to file a loss claim with their insurance company. I followed a link to the insurance company and it said that it could not process my claim. Finally something did come through from their insurer saying they could not process my claim for 7 days. The packaging that arrived shows no sign of being tampered with at all so I suspect that no knife was ever put in it. Don't patronize this business. Management has no concern at all with customer satisfaction.
In short-Solid products... a bit expensive but worth it. That said:. They charge you at the moment of order and then take 90 days + to deliver. They do a terrible job letting you know about late orders as you have to chase them.
I've only bought one knife from their site, and the quality is excellent.
This site has a lot of options, including personal customization and guides.
You can pay with a lot of different cards or PayPal (Bitcoin and Skrill not available)
The customer service is okay and will try their best to help you if you need help.
The delivery was for me a horrible experience, and they couldn't help me figure out the problem. I had to wait two months before the item got through "Customs" because of poor communication. This was a relatively rare case, so I don't blame customer support on the site. I have read that other people have had an excellent experience with shipping.
All in all, I would recommend this site for people that are interested in this type of knife. The prices are somewhat reasonable in most cases, maybe a little on the expensive side, but you pay for quality.
Customer ordered on Saturday November 6th and it was shipped on time Monday November 8th. It was delivered on Saturday November 13th, 5 days after shipment which, admittedly is unusual, it only should take 2-4 days. Customer called in and said that he received it very late and there was nothing in the envelope. I apologized that that had happened and told him that the good news was, he purchased insurance and it is covered with Route. I emailed him a link to file a quick and easy 3 question claim and told him he should have his money returned to him within 4 days. Customer demanded that we use different packaging to ship, said that he understands that we're not to blame about the stolen package, and demanded his refund right away.
