Kailash Manasarovar

Last year a group of us paid the advance money requested by the contact on the website of kailashmanasarovar.com for a tour of the holy mountain and lake. We had spoken over the phone and chatted over emails. We have the bank transfer and dates to show the amount that was transferred to the company account. They were unable to arrange the tour on the agreed upon dates. Now after close to a year, after several emails, phone calls etc our money has not been returned. They did not mention the advance was non refundable infact they sent several emails to us that the deposit would be done soon, this week, this month, after holidays etc etc etc. The company claims to have been arranging tours for the past 10 years, are experienced and the contacts sound very convincing. BEWARE as they seem to be scamming artists. Hopefully this review will help other people from making the same mistake. Its a very expensive affair as we made several international calls etc to convince them to return our money to no avail. In fact after telling us they are going to deposit the money back, they will not pick up their phones or answer their emails when we try to follow up with the promised deposit. Bad business practices, fraudulent promises, a total scam and very bitter experience.
