They don't make their fees clear. They make it seem like a $5 fee, but it is $5 to join plus $60 for a one month membership. Very slimy tactics.
Rubbish, 7 day free trial will cost you £35 because they change the trial time when you sign up. Misleading and scamming
I'm on ODSP and was looking for psychiatric support covered by OHIP. JustAnswer told me I'd only be charged a fully refundable CA$2 to connect with a psychologist. I was reassured this was a one-time fee, and nothing else was mentioned. To my shock, I was later billed CA$73 without any clear consent or explanation. This was incredibly upsetting, especially as I made it clear I was seeking free, publicly covered support due to financial limitations. I feel completely misled and taken advantage of. I've contacted support for a refund and provided screenshots of the original conversation. This experience was very stressful and disappointing. Be extremely careful if you're in a vulnerable situation or on a tight budget — the platform is not transparent about its charges.
