I hired a specialist for creating my website 4 months ago. The freelancer did a great job and I got exactly the result I was looking for. The safe payment system is absolutely one of their benefits. It is possible to transfer the amount of money after your project is completely done and satisfies all expectations. Before that, the money stays safe on your SafePay Escrow account. I surely recommend it.
The platform is easy and pleasure to use for both creating value for your clients and earning using all of your skills and experience. It has all the necessary tools for connecting freelancers and agencies with clients that need their projects done as well as great interface for all the necessary formalities regarding the contracts and payments. I'd recommend it to any future freelancer and definitely would use it as a client.
Jointohire would not allow me to stop payments to freelancer that was doing incorrect work.
Even after billing stopped and was able to prove issue in writing they refused to refund money. Freelancer is still active on platform and still will not respond to messages or calls.
Use any other site
I agree with the others who were scammed, my freelancer charged me for two weeks of work and I got nothing, I decided to stop it after the two weeks and filed a dispute with them and got this response "We reviewed your freelancer's Work Diary and determined that there are no hours which were not logged in accordance with the Hourly Payment Protection." So in effect as long as the freelancer logs the hours in to their system they get paid, even if they don't do any work. The money is charged on your credit card even if you don't approve it. If you have an honest freelancer you can have good results as I have on other sites like upwork, but on upwork I have to specifically approve the payments which gives you better protection. This freelancer encouraged me off of upwork where I had originally posted the job to Join For Hire. I do feel I was scammed, so watch out.
We've had only success with JointoHire. After getting access to multiple, highly-qualified engineers within days of starting our contractor search, we found the perfect match. That was almost four years ago, and we're still going strong and couldn't be happier.
An awesome platform and I highly recommend it to everyone. JointoHire has been helpful in preventing developers we hire and marketers for our campaign from scamming or giving us any issues on that front. Consistently use them for many projects.
We were scammed by one of their freelancers ~ we Immediately let them know! See screen shot... We followed their directions, they assured us anyway, the $400 would not be taken out of PayPal. 10 days later they charged our account with no job started or services rendered. We reached out to them without response, We disputed it with PayPal & they lied to PayPal, Lucy I took this scene shot! Or I would be screwed. Lastly as I guess an attempt to steel our money. They sent me a response "On Aug 28,2020, at 3:10 AM, *******@jointohire.com wrote:

STAY FARE AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE! BAD BAD BAD
Typical story: hire on Upwork, then the "talent" asks you to come here. I did, because the guy seemed (duh) trustworthy.
I never saw his face, but he was full of stories (from London but currently in Vienna because of the pandemic, blah blah).
Long story short, no work done after 2 weeks, some family excuse, then 19 hours charged on my credit card (almost USD500) and a dispute that was never (never will?) get answered.
The dispute got taken offline (no more dispute page?), no one answers, typical.
Also, the reviews that say it's 5* are just from users with 1 review. Guess what?
My fault. But this site is a SCAM. Stay away like the plague!
I was lured away from Upwork by Emiliano Black, an app developer (no doubt one of the developers of join to hire).
As with all the other scam reports, he produced no work, and just kept drawing out the time, before I realised it was charging and recharging his hours.
A raised dispute was rejected in his favour with no communication, and no answer on multiple attempts to contact support'.
This is a fake site, do not get scammed by it.
These 5 star reviews are also scams. Guaranteed.
There is no app for join to hire. Surely there would be if it were real and reputable?
Stick to upwork or freelancer and keep your hard earned money in your pocket.
I wish I'd read these scam reviews before I got fooled out of almost $300
It is my primary source of finding freelancers for my projects and they do a high-quality work actually. I am very satisfied with the result that they provide and the platform itself is the easiest system to use for this purpose. I highly recommend this to everyone!
I have been using Jointohire freelance platform for my own business already for two years. They completed 8 successful projects for me and I am very pleased with the quality they provide each time. Never even will I think about using another website for my projects as there can be no other platform which works so effectively and safe as for me.
I am a front-end developer and I myself need some assistance from time to time. Projects that I initiate are not that big, but they compose a very important part of the final result. Usually, for accomplishing them I hire freelancers and the best platform is JointoHire.com: with their small drawbacks, they really do great, guys! Every time, I get satisfied with their results. So, far I have worked with two freelancers, one was Andrew Joseph and Daniel Kask. The first worked for $28/hour and the latter for $20/hour. I think they charged quite reasonably and their service was extra good.
Highly recommended!
JointoHire did a fantastic and fast job of identifying who would be the best partner for me when I was to tech illiterate to even know myself. They were always clear in communication and helped me find a developer whom I loved working with and fit my constrained budget. They were always professional and responsive. I would work with them again in a heartbeat.
I am very grateful to JointoHire for providing the best freelancing platform. I would recommend this platform to people who want to get their projects done perfectly. It deserves more than five stars.
I am using this platform already a year and have two projects built. My chosen freelancer just have done a great job for me. Besides, JointoHire.com provides high security and policy for both of clients and freelancers. Highly recommend to use this platform.
This platform is surely my favorite one. Jointohire is the only freelance platform I use for my business. They have safe payment method which allows me to transfer the money for the project to en escrow account where it will stay safe until the project is completely done and approved by me. The quality they provide is really high and as a result I get a perfect project will the help of certified freelancers.
I recently worked with a freelancer through this platform and everything was fine. I'm very satisfied with the job of the freelancer and can say the same about this platform. Based on my own experience, I can advise others to work here.
Like another person below, I was lured to join JTH from upwork by Borya Andropov. The job was agreed for a fixed price, and without notifying me, I was being charged on my credit card. No notification from the platform whatsoever.
Now, while the developer managed to get much of the work started, he was unavailable most of the time, and finally uploaded code without database and claimed he was moving country, and would start "on Monday". That was 2 months ago.
I am afraid that the experience has been greatly disappointing and I am forming the option that this is a group of individuals who are representing themselves. The "founder" pictures and names, and the pictures of the reviewers below all look generated from stock material.
The glowing reviews below all suffer from poor English grammar, that looks quite consistent as if from the same person, or general non-native skills.
JointoHire is a freelance service which works with clients throughout the whole hiring process, from posting to payment, aiming provide users with a great experience on their marketplace.
JTH's process is simple enough. Start by describing the type of job you need done. It can be practically any jobbig or small, individual or team, short term or long term. Potential candidates will apply to your posting allowing you to compare profiles, feedback and portfolios.
Then, you will interview and select the best candidate to join your team and take on the project. Payments can be per project or per hour, your choice.
Everything is simple and very professional.
Awesome Platform for Software Projects with Excellent and Efficent Programmers who work to complete the project with great effort. They don't even charge huge amounts of money from the clients. I had a software project which needed to be done in short time span and got it completed within the given amount of time. Felt so great as the project was successfully accomplished.
I would personally recommend JointoHire to people who want to get their Projects done with ease. Had a great experience working with JointoHire. Really cool Marketplace to get projects done.
Answer: This platform is without doubt a scam. Stay away at all costs
