The company has garnered a reputation for its skilled freelancers and effective customer service, with many clients praising the professionalism and technical abilities of the team. The platform's user-friendly interface and secure payment system are also highlighted as significant advantages. However, there are notable concerns regarding billing practices, with several customers reporting unauthorized charges and inadequate support in resolving these issues. I am a front-end developer and I myself need some assistance from time to time. Projects that I initiate are not that big, but they compose a very important part of the final result. Usually, for accomplishing them I hire freelancers and the best platform is JointoHire.com: with their small drawbacks, they really do great, guys! Every time, I get satisfied with their results. So, far I have worked with two freelancers, one was Andrew Joseph and Daniel Kask. The first worked for $28/hour and the latter for $20/hour. I think they charged quite reasonably and their service was extra good.
Highly recommended!

Worked with a full stack freelancer for a week on a one pager website and all I can say is I am impressed! He made it happen in just 24 hours with very little instructions. Definitely would pick him for another job. Paid him 200$ fixed price for my Project.

. Louie Miller, a freelancer on JoinToHire was a great asset for our company. I hired him 4 months ago and he worked $35/hour rate and developed an amazing e-commerce website. The price was quite reasonable and he did everything in a timely manner. Website was fully functioning and was very user friendly.
He also had very good communications skills, almost every time reachable and we could discuss every detail with him. I highly recommend him to other people, who want to have unique website. I will definitely work with him again in case of necessity.

Hi!
Recently I found a freelancer on JoinToHire to develop a Wordpress website for human resources. I could never imagine that they are so organized and freelancers there are so experienced and highly qualified. I particularly worked with Jeffery West, who had so much hands-on experience in this field. I enjoy every minute of working with him.
Both JoinToHire and freelancers are amazing. The website has very good customer support and its employees are open to any type of discussions.

JointoHire was very patient and resourceful in helping me interview the right set of developers. Everyone I interacted with on JointoHire, from the project managers to the developers were professional, passionate and knowledgeable. Even though we didn't end up hiring from the JointoHire talent pool, we couldn't be happier with the service level they provided that aided our search for the right developer. Would love to work with them in the future.

Good freelancers
July 11, 2020

I have been working with JointoHire since 2019 and we have completed a couple of successful projects together. The Full stack developer David has done a great job for me and for a nice price. We were completing the payments only after I confirm the job done by him. He was very responsible and attentive to the deadlines. I liked working with him. Recommend this platform.

Scam. Just a scam.
July 6, 2020

Typical story: hire on Upwork, then the "talent" asks you to come here. I did, because the guy seemed (duh) trustworthy.
I never saw his face, but he was full of stories (from London but currently in Vienna because of the pandemic, blah blah).

Long story short, no work done after 2 weeks, some family excuse, then 19 hours charged on my credit card (almost USD500) and a dispute that was never (never will?) get answered.
The dispute got taken offline (no more dispute page?), no one answers, typical.
Also, the reviews that say it's 5* are just from users with 1 review. Guess what?

My fault. But this site is a SCAM. Stay away like the plague!

Dont Use this site
June 30, 2020

I joined join to hire as a freelancer on Upwork suggested she prefered this platform. I ended up not using her but created an account. I then forgot about it until today when $510 was taken out of my account. I'm not sure why this has happened but I have not had any reply from them yet. Dont use them, I'm going to get the money back but this is a SCAM website.

I was lured away from Upwork by David Hendren, The job was agreed for a fixed price, he also provide a demo project and i was agreed with that project. But then he request for $250 and $1000 in Escrow. The 50% completed project he provided was totally different project and then he started giving excuses and then i decided to pause the project.

I've take JTH team support but the were in responsive. Then i realized that it's an scam and i am into it. Then i request for Escrow refund but same no response and then suddenly the Escrow amount got automatically released.

So, Stay away from them, they are a fake fraudulent site.
Me and many others had our money stolen by them.

FAKE, FRAUD, DO NOT USE.

Within days, JointoHire quickly staffed us with a Product Designer, and Two React/TypeScript/Redux engineers.

Their pricing is fair and we felt very comfortable engaging with them early on.

The abilities of the individuals we worked with surpassed our expectations.

Having managed product teams in the past, the designer and engineers we hired are some of the most thoughtful, flexible and patient individuals I have ever worked with.

I have recommended and will continue to recommend JointoHire to others.

I agree with the others who were scammed, my freelancer charged me for two weeks of work and I got nothing, I decided to stop it after the two weeks and filed a dispute with them and got this response "We reviewed your freelancer's Work Diary and determined that there are no hours which were not logged in accordance with the Hourly Payment Protection." So in effect as long as the freelancer logs the hours in to their system they get paid, even if they don't do any work. The money is charged on your credit card even if you don't approve it. If you have an honest freelancer you can have good results as I have on other sites like upwork, but on upwork I have to specifically approve the payments which gives you better protection. This freelancer encouraged me off of upwork where I had originally posted the job to Join For Hire. I do feel I was scammed, so watch out.

My freelancer was not responsive so i paused the contract and removed my payment info out of my account on Jointohire but someone how my Paypal account was still set auto-payment. Paypal kept sending the money and they kept taking my money. When i realized they got two payments so i filed a dispute and they said they would go with whatever their freelancer says. Really? Did not you see my contract had been paused and payment info had been removed days before Paypal sent put the first payment? They did offer me $250 credits but would not refund $510 they took from me. What am i going to do with those credits? To get scammed by you and your freelancers for more money?

Read an attached email from them. What are they talking about? My dispute was that the contract had been paused and payment info had been removed and why they kept getting my money.

On one file that is a screen shot of the text messages exchanged between me and the freelancer. I told him let's not do it since he did not have time for my project.

This is a bad place to hire a freelancer... you all need to find a website that would protect you as buyers. This site is sided with the freelancers. Screw that! Never again!

Go read other reviews about this site, they got scammed by Jointohire too!

During an important project with tight deliveries, JointoHire was able to provide a number of talented resources to us in very short order. The resources that we ultimately hired were not only technically skilled but dedicated, interactive team members, who quickly integrated with our existing team members (internal and partner consultants).
When staffing on the project changed, JointoHire accommodated our new plan without any hassle.
I would recommend JointoHire to anyone needing technical resources and will definitely use them again, myself.

My "Freelancer" after taking over $1000 stopped responding. I have appealed it multiple times and there only response is that he did log the hours in the console. It is irrelevant that he hasn't sent me any of it and is now ignoring my messages. As long as they log the hours they don't actually have to send you anything! If your freelancer decides to stop then Jointohire will back them 100%.

JointoHire came to us highly recommended. We found them to be very reputable and professional. By interviewing us and asking relevant questions, they assessed our needs well and then matched us up with an excellent developer. They vet their developers well. If they state the developer is proficient at something you will find this to be true. They've been accommodating to our needs throughout our engagement with them.

We've had a very smooth experience with them. I would highly recommend them to others!

I hired a contractor through the JointoHire.com website to work on a software development project. The contractor stopped communicating with me and didn't deliver anything. I reached out to the site to tell them what happened. I explained that the contractor disappeared and I wanted to confirm he couldn't add manual time to his contract since he hadn't tracked any time using their tracking software. They assured me they disabled the capability to add manual hours. I ended the contract with 0 hours tracked and removed my credit card from their website. Days later, I got a charge for $340 on my credit card. I reached out multiple times to request a refund. I filed a dispute through their website which has been ignored to date. The best JointoHire.com would offer me was credit on their platform to make up for my poor experience. So basically, I paid despite not getting anything delivered even after I confirmed with them that I wouldn't be billed. They also keep your credit card information on file even after you remove it from their website, which I'm sure is not legal either. Their customer service takes 3 days just to respond to each message. I can't recommend enough that you use a more reputable platform for your outsourcing needs. This one is designed to rip you off.

JointoHire makes it pretty easy to have vetted, quality freelancers, who can plug into your work stream quickly. There is very low management overhead and allows us to flex our team up and down based on product and engineering needs.

JointoHire did a fantastic and fast job of identifying who would be the best partner for me when I was to tech illiterate to even know myself. They were always clear in communication and helped me find a developer whom I loved working with and fit my constrained budget. They were always professional and responsive. I would work with them again in a heartbeat.
