I have always purchased my violin accessories from johnsonstring.com. Good products at great prices. Very reliable and consistent good quality.
Online catalog easy to navigate, moist items are usually in stock, and orders have been fulfilled immediately. Takes me a day or two to receive my strings, which, improbably for a warehouse item, seemed to me and others who know, to be "fresh" and even-surfaced. An indispensable resource.
Johnson does their returns fairly. I paid $45 for return shipping and insurance on a cello case. Not all places will let you return a case, so I looked for that before purchasing as I know theres always the risk that you just might not like the purchase! (BoyI hope Im reviewing the right item... its early in the AM!) Anyway, my cello simply didnt fit in this BAM, so I returned it. It takes a couple weeks to get the case back to them and the refund processed, but you can trust that they are in the up and up and will take care of it. That is no small thing these days.
I needed some advice when buying new strings for my violin and the customer service rep I called was terrific. She was very friendly and provided me with all the information I needed to choose the right strings. I received them quickly and they are great! Just the right strings to get the best sound from my instrument. Thank you! I will definitely be ordering online again!
The violin tuner is great! It is small and unnoticeable. It is just right for keeping in prefect tune and no one will ever know you are using a tuner.
