To add to my previous review, he will not reimburse your subscription fees if you decide to cancel your membership, even though he claims otherwise on his website. If you are still considering becoming a member, my advice is to take only a short-term membership and to accept that you will probably never see your money back, no matter what.
PS: Since I'm an honest person (unlike the website's author), I will remove this review in case I ever get reimbursed. But considering that I have been waiting for several weeks already, I'm not counting on it...
Except for a few articles reporting original research, most of the content behind the paywall on his JLB website is nothing that you couldn't find for free elsewhere if you do a bit of online research. His podcasts and videos are painfully long and tedious, even when listening at 1.5x speed. Don't fall for the hype!
Although he thinks very highly of himself, his research skills are very limited and he makes several unsupported claims. He is also a poor debater whose argumentative strategy consists mostly of a) constantly moving the goal posts in a debate, b) evading obvious questions directly related to his claims, and c) gratuitous personal attacks. If you dare to disagree with his findings, he will target you relentlessly, using a mixture of lies, false claims, and ad hominems. Clearly, his true aim is to become a cult leader, not a genuine truthseeker.

I am a member of johnlebon.com and have been for more than 12 months, unlike the previous reviewer. JLB has a pay wall for a reason, to keep brainless muppet's away from his membership and high level discussion.
Being a member I can tell you that all the content is highly original, but more importantly deeply researched. The standard of the articles is to academic levels with all references and sources clearly cited as you would expect from a University graduate. Videos and podcasts are produced specifically for members of the site there is no comparison to be given, nobody else produces anything like JLB.
Anyone reviewing johnlebon.com without being a member has no clue what the substance of the content holds. There view is therefore irrelevant on any review.

What is JohnleBon.com? Well, for the past year it has been my go-to social spot, and safe space for questioning and learning about history, culture, sync, science, and social conditioning just for starters. I'm older and like to listen more than contribute and yet I still feel welcome and part of the group. I expecially like the discord server, and the member contributions are great too. The site is so much more than a cult of personality... I think the pay wall only enhances the quality of the membership and I don't have a problem with it. If you can't afford the subscription, you are probably not ready for JLB anyway. My user ID is momwithsons.
This site is absolutely brilliant! JLB has done so much thorough research on such a huge range of topics. He is extremely intelligent and so are all of the guests that he invites on his shows.
