I have found it very easy to use. I don't know if it will produce results just yet, but it has made job searching and tailoring the resume easier.
Good experience. The whole verify email process was a bit confusing as it kept giving me the error message that there was a problem verifying my email address.
Thanks for your feedback, Lisa!
So far very good! Been able to get great feedback from recruiters'
I'm only half way through scanning my profile, so I don't even have any results to look at yet. How can I rate this service?
I just started... ask me again when I've tried some features
Very similar to word clouds, the words chosen are often not relevant to the job itself.
My first time using this - clicked on an article about using LinkedIn's Easy Apply button, and now am scanning my profile for an optimization score.
Hi, Stephanie. Thanks for your feedback!
Over the course of a 4-5 month period, I submitted well over 100 applications and was averaging about 15% response rate, which was depressing and moral-sapping. I found out about applicant tracking systems and how they screen for matching keywords from the job description in my resume. No wonder my results were poor, I was not doing any customization at all. I invested in Jobscan and the application helped me customize my resumes and emphasize certain content and de-emphasize other content. I believe this helped me get noticed, land interviews and ultimately get multiple job offers. This is a tool that is reasonably priced and is a wise investment for job seekers in today's intense job market. I would definitely recommend it.
Awesome! Thanks, Michael!
Jobscan was recommended. I've only tried the tutorial thus far and looking forward to uploading my resume and job listing to receive feedback.
Thank you, Lisa1
I started following a path to try LinkedIn profile optimisation and you look all my date, wasted 10 minutes without getting any results
It's so magic how it's efficient in tailoring the resumes to the job postings
Thank you for this innovative website :)
Awesome, thank you!
Jobs can helped me highlight my experience in a way directly relevant to each application. When you only get one chance to get selected for interviews, it pays to be able to articulate your value proposition better than the stack of resumes not using jobscan. Love the product!
Thank you for the awesome feedback, Ryan! All the best!
I'm trying to find the resume I just scanned before signing up and it's gone
So far, a good flow. You've made the case for how the site will help. However, my advice (one product marketer to another) might be to consider demonstrating the numeric $ value of the service.
For instance, if using Jobscan gets me a job one month later, that's an entire monthly pay packet more in my pocket, which is likely to be 100x the cost using the service.
Also, interesting pricing. I was previously offered a month free then $90 for 3 months. On my second visit you offered the 3 months at a 20% discount. AB test or did you cookie me and offer a different price based on it being my second visit in two days?
Thanks for the review, Neil!
Please feel free to reach out to support@jobscan.co if you have any questions; we'd be more than happy to assist :)
Too early to tell! Ask me after I have used it a bit. There's nothing more annoying than being asked for a review 5 seconds after you loaded the page.
It would be helpful to delve into their website to understand how to improve your resume before using jobscan.
Thanks for the suggestion, Kevin!
Answer: Hi Tanisha! Jobscan recommends at least 80% for ATS to make your resume visible to the hiring manager. To boost your match rate, take a look at the missing skill and keywords (the ones denoted as red X) and see which ones are relevant to include in your resume. Focusing on including missing keywords that appear more frequently in the Hard Skills section will quickly boost your match rate. Here's a video tutorial that helps with getting your rate up - https://www.jobscan.co/video-resume-match-report. I hope this helps. Please reach out to support@jobscan.co if you have questions as you go along. Thanks!
