IXL

Honestly, this app is so bad it just test your patient and and the pont system is rig, This app is mostly a waste of time. Doesn't really even help you learn it just stresses you out, even sometimes you wanna punch the screen because of how the point system is like. The person who created app never fixed the point system, he/she is either lazy or just don't even care. Well in all, this app sucks and just an completely waste of time.

I am a parent and a teacher, and I have 6 years of experience to show that IXL is not worth the money. IXL has shoddy explanations and doesn't really help learn. On top of that, its point system is stressful and leads to frustration and raging. It has been bad for my kids' mental health and I strongly recommend others to stop using it.

Ixl makes me slave away 100 hours a day. I have not seen my family in 22 straight days since 1/2/24... I miss them so much. Please bring justice for this horrendous site that won't and will not EVER let me catch a break. For over 432 days, i have been slaving away. I thought it was a harmless site, but NO! I was happy to join the time, but like iready... I slave away, each day, crippling loneliness... depression. Justice to the slavess of IXL

IXL has never helped me, It always gets me in the worst mood. If you get a question wrong you go back heaps. Making it impossible. It has never done anything for me out of the frustration I have distracting me I can't learn.

This helps none. When I do IXL for homework I will be answering questions and then I will get one wrong and it will tell me the same answer that I wrote is wrong even though the app said it's right. Yes! I got one right. I get three points. Ugh I got one wrong. Guess 20 points get taken away. Like the point system is diabolical. When I get it wrong it makes me less and less confident. IXL is not a good learning site

I looked at recent reviews and it actually makes students less engaged in the lesson IXL has to offer. Also, I found that some of the lessons make you assume genders. This makes students very stressed when they are in the "Challenge Zone" and they get a question wrong and are back down to like 80-78.

This can be resolved by just getting rid of IXL from public education in all the states of the U.S. and maybe other countries. We must get rid of this IXL website for the good of us students."

It is dumb and pointless. I hate it so much it is $#*!ed. I much rather actually learn in front of a teacher than do this. The smart score is rigged I'll be at 99 and get one question wrong and it brings me down to an 83 like that is the only one I got wrong.

This site is horrible. It requires students to do a "smart score" system that promotes stress and ends up with them crying or physically damaging their Chromebooks. We had to remove this from the school system due to the influx of people going to the school therapists and parents calling the school complaining about this program. We do not recommend this program. The picture displayed is of the school line for therapy outside of program building 5. Please do not use this very poorly designed program for your school system.

It is really sad that some of us have to do so much IXL for in stance my Friend Kam has been doing IXL for a long time but he said he has not learned anything. Last year my class completed almost 2,000 hours.

NOTHING about this helped me. I fear this is stunting my education as a whole, and preventing me from getting any smarter. It brings me so much stress, confuses me so much. I enjoy that there is a ¨Learn with an example¨ button. But when you answer one question, even if you get it wrong, you can not click it again. Even my parents struggle with this. This must be some alien way of teaching kids. Why do teachers use this god awful site? That is an excellent question. Why? If you look at the reviews, the average is 1.6 stars. Yet despite this, every single god forsaken school I see uses this site. This has to be some buisness trick. This is dirty. I literally have to decide between by grades or my sanity. I choose my sanity. You should choose yours.

IXL is very stressful as IXL would take away 20 points as if were to get a question wrong. There are also some lessons that make it so you would have to type in the answer as you could be typing fast as you would get the question wrong. Some of them are super hard and some of them are really easy. To do. IXL is in a way a good way to home school but I would give it in smaller amounts if you are going to do it.

I guess it is ok, it barely grasps on the learning side tho, yes you learn some that's the entire point of the website but it doesn't grasp on learning on the fun bit it was created for children to have fun while learning and they have overly terrible on that, wouldn't recommend to your child unless they wanna just learn basic things.

The smart score system has gotten better but it still sucks! The app is ok for learning, but the smart score always makes me VERY stressed. Teachers always assign me work on IXL. While I do learn things on IXL, I spend more time raging on how much my smart score goes down when I get one wrong. Very annoying app\

So early today I was doing IXL at school. I was already in a bad mood as I was tired and and was hungry. So we have to get to 90 so after a good 20 question I get to 84 I was happy because I was close then Suddenly I get 2 incorrect in a row and boom bam bop im down to 52 this has me make an action of ripping my pencil bag in half. I think that IXL is really really REALLY dumb. I think this because I am in first grade, and I did the diagnostic. I got into 12 grade math, but they were still giving me volume as a recommendation. Also, when you get a problem wrong, the entire program just crashes, and when I sign back in, I lose 30 points. Lastly, I also think that ixl is dumb because I have severe depresion because of it, and im only in first grade.

IXL is very much rigged. When you get a question wrong your score goes down more than how much you get when you get it right. IXL doesn't engage you in learning. In fact, IXL makes you not want to learn anymore.
