Only gave one star rating because NO star rating not available... Answered their survey questionaires over 6 days related to end of life choices etc and received no payout... Ever. Dont waste your time. There are other survey companies out there that actually DO pay me monthly.

Itracks is the worst focus group company I have ever dealt with. They scheduled me for a focus group on a Tuesday and at the last minute canceled and said the focus group was now meeting on a totally different day. They offered no apology, just a smug email that basically said, if you want the incentive, you need to complete it at this new time. They weren't flexible and didn't offer any other times. I reached out to Adam to express my frustration, and he was far from helpful. He seriously has the worst customer service skills; he was condescending and rude, not even trying to understand how incredibly inconvenient it was to be rescheduled at the very last minute.

I will definitely steer clear from Itracks in the future; they are just not worth the frustration and time.

I found itracks.com through social media. After filling out a questionaire, I was "accepted" into a research study. I gave my information including where I lived, along with my email and phone number for contact information. I had to confirm the email address, and then received a follow-up phone call.

The woman who called was quite casual, which wasn't too bad. She told me she worked from home, and she was admittedly quite disorganized and apparently new (although she didn't say as much). I was patient with her as she told me about the research study, gave me instructions, and told me to look out for follow up emails.

She scheduled the research study for about a month out, so I made sure to clear my calendar for that day, as the compensation was $150 and I figured I'd take that day off and just do the study. The study was to last 1-2 hours and was in a focus group with other people.

I logged in to do an equipment test about two weeks prior to the study, and everything checked out on my end. The technical test included checking microphone and camera on the laptop to make sure it worked. I have several devices, so this isn't an issue. Just a forewarning though, you must have a camera and microphone (at least for this study) in order to participate, and you have to be responsive to the emails because they want to make sure you can participate.

Well, after logging in on the day of the "study", I typed "hello" into the chatroom, and a mod said hello to me. I saw lots of different users enter and leave the room, some that had joined before me, and some that came after me. After waiting 5 minutes, I asked the moderator if there is anything I need to do, to which they didn't respond. Then another moderator said, "Hello, I'm speaking with the other moderator to see if he is ready to take you into the main room now."

So, I waited for another ten minutes. Fifteen minutes after joining the chat, and after no communication, I finally asked if there was something I was supposed to do at this point, and then the moderator informed me that the moderator was not going to take anyone else into the group, and was just going to go with the people he had at the time.

I was told to wait for a follow up email for "possible" rescheduling.

All in all, this site is supposedly legit, and some people report having received payouts, but just don't count on it. I knew things like this are risky going into it, and it seemed a bit scammy, so I wasn't too upset to find out that the whole thing ended up being bogus for me, and I wasn't compensated for any of my time.

They basically gathered a bunch of data from me, and I probably spent about 3 hours either communicating with them, answering their questions/phone calls, doing equipment tests and all of that, so that they could collect my data for free.

Just be cautious and realize that you aren't guaranteed to receive compensation. ITracks is probably a type of proxy company through which other companies work to gather data. Whichever one I signed up with was very unprofessional and disrespectful in regards to my time.

Tip for consumers:
Be aware that these focus groups are not guaranteed, and these companies often gather data for the purpose of using it without compensating the user for it. They may string you along, and waste hours or days of your time without any form of compensation.

Just be cautious and don't expect anything out of it necessarily, and don't go out of your way to call off work or anything for them like I did. I knew it was risky going into it, so I wasn't too upset that it ended up being a scam.

Products used:
I participated in a focus group and wasn't compensated for my time or effort, in spite of claims that I'd be compensated by the tune of $150 USD for my efforts.

I Participated in a 3 day project from April 23-26 & was promised $100.@ the end of the 3 days. Did not get it. Numerous emails to ITRACKS went unanswered. So I called them & left messages with all my info for a call back. Finally got a call back from a man named Ben who said someone would email me. I knew then, that I was likely just getting the run around & would not get paid & I was right. Then over a week later, got an email from Adam Dumont, the manager/coordinator of the study project, giving an excuse totally fabricated to fit his needs to not pay me, when I spent so much time on line doing what was asked of me reviewing TV morning hosts. And after 3 days of that I got nothing. I filed a complaint with the Saskatchewan BBB, who forwarded my complaint to them, with no response. They think they are above the law & can get away with me working for free, when I put in several hours each day & it means nothing to them. My complaint will stay there@ the BBB & the public can view their file anytime online@ the BBB

I was asked via email to do an itracks video survey on streaming services. It was sponsored by a streaming service I had just canceled, so I guess they wanted to figure out why I canceled. This was my first online video survey / discussion group. I scheduled the video survey for the following week. I received a couple reminders before the group met and 1 right before the group met. There were 4 people in the group plus the moderator. The survey was scheduled for 90 minutes, but was finished 10 minutes early. Itracks sent me an email 7 days after the survey with a link to receive my $100 rewards for participating. I was given the option of $100 gift cards for Burger King, Amazon, Walmart, VISA, or a couple others that I don't remember. I picked Amazon and was immediately given an Amazon redemption code with a link to the Amazon site. 20 seconds later, my Amazon account had an extra $100. Don't know if I will do another one, but this survey worked out well.
