My quote was for $48, and I received a check for $11 with absolutely no explanation as to why the difference in price. At least send an email with an explanation. Would not recommend using this service.
I saw a report on San Francisco Chronicle about this website. I love the idea - trade in your used electronic devices for cash so that they can fix and resale them or reuse the parts. You wouldn't get much for these items but at least it save you lots of hassle, and you're recycling and offloading this stuff. If your item isn't worth anything to them, they'll still recycle it for free. Also they provide free shipping.
BTW, according to the report, this is a business run by teen. I fully support their effort on saving our mother earth!
I'm a long time customer of them, as they've been doing this for years. First of all, this company was started by a kid, which I love to support. Whenever i upgrade my phones, this is the place for me.
I got a quote, shipped in my MacBook and then received nothing for over a month. I called, emailed, facebook messaged, and used their online contact form with no answer. They just kept my device without sending payment. After filing with the BBB, they finally sent the money over a month late but still never provided any explanation! Stay away!
Shipped them a really old laptop for the 1st time. It was super easy & they Paidpal'd me quickly. They emailed updates when they received it and a couple of days later emailed me when they paid me. I'm surprised over these bad reviews & about to use them again.
I got a quote for an Iphone in June for $28.00 a few dollars more than Gazette, so I went with them sent the phone off the next day.
I just received a check on August 19th for a $1.00.
Unbelievable it took 2 months to be paid and then I only received a dollar.
If I was only going to get a dollar for my phone I never would have taken the time to send it to them and I would have donated it.
These people do not answer their phones and they do not respond to emails.
Next time I will deal with Gazette.
SORRY would not recomend this company.
I shipped threw ups my 2 iPhone 6 on feb 7 didn't find out anything on my phones until feb 18 they said my phones were blacklisted so went tmobile was told they were not i called iretron back told the lady to try again she said she would and i told her to call me if there was still a problem no one called i got a email today saying they had sent my phone back for being on blacklist. So i called iretron back while on way to tmobile let a gentleman at iretron talk to tmoblie they told iretron that theses phones where not on the blacklist. Iretrons said there system different so i call apple they also said theses phones were not on a blacklist. I think a bad way to do business and take so long on your process. I would not do business with them
I bought two new Samsung Galaxy Note 8 phone the day they came out. My intention was to trade in my old Note 5 phones A. S.A. P. to get the highest price for them. Well, stupid me... I saw this place and they offered more than any other place. Greed made me go with them, even though I am well aware of the fact that there is no such thing as a free lunch. I sent the phones to Iretron and when they got them, they decided to give me $19.00 instead of the $192.00 they originally offered me. Here is the e-mail I received from them regard both phones ---:

We just wanted to let you know that our inspection result doesn't match with the claimed condition of your devices. The reason is as follows:
The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Verizon is locked to the previous owner's google account, so it could not be activated. We would like to offer a new price of $19. Please reply the mail to let us know if you'd like to take this new offer or not.
If you agree with the new offer, we will move forward and pay you this amount in 3 days. If you disagree with the revised offer, we will return your item back to you on our expense. If you do not respond to us within 5 days, we'll assume you are alright with the new offer and move forward automatically.

There was nothing on their web site about some sort of "Google Lock-out", and on top of that, I am one of those that uses a phone very minimally and when I need a new app, I take it down to Verizon and have them so it. So I do not see how anything could have been "locked out by Google" But again, remember, there was nothing on their web site that mentioned that issue as a condition, yet they NOW tell me that I lied to them and they are offering me less than 10% of their original offer, and only $19.00 for a phone that should get well over $150.00, at least. (They are both 64gb models.) AND THEN... look at the last line. If they do not hear from me within 5 days, not even 5 business days, but 5 days, they will go ahead with the order and send me that chicken feed. It has been a week now and I have heard NOTHING. I sent four e-mails, left two voice messages (no one ever answers their phones), tried to chat at least 10 times, and I have heard nothing about my phones or my phones being returned to me.
THIS IS A REAL SCAM OUTFIT. FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE,,,, STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS.
Answer: Non-existent, they just hang on to your items and don't pay you or contact you unless you threaten to sue for your money. Terrible!
