I ordered off of Amazons, which INYOPools was the company listed. Got the product which was the wrong part. Sent it back and went directly to INYOPools to purchase a new one. They made me send my ID to them saying they needed to check it to my Business Credit Card. Which I did and they canceled my order?
The only way to contact them is through a Chat. My first Chat was about my ID because my CC was under the business name and address where the product was being shipped to. But my ID has a different address. The person on other side said that they could help me with that and I just needed to see.
The following week I got an email canceling my order because my ID didn't match. I went into another chat and try to find out why and explain I had just sent them back over $300 worth of merchandise that they received back the pervious week that I had gotten through Amazon. Was told that INYOPools has no affiliation with Amazon. I said you sell products through Amazon. Again they said No, we have no affiliation through Amazon.
I just wanted to have them see that I who I am and my credit card was good.
Then I just got an email about my order if I have received my order by clicking on the link below.
If I haven't, wait a 24-48 hours or disregard if I canceled this order. Well I didn't cancel it they did. My charge card was charged but it was also credited for the charge. Still waiting to see my credit on the products I sent directly back to them that I purchase from Amazon who they have no "AFFILIATION" with.
I am a business owner and this company is a Joke!

Purchased Ray pack heater from them one year ago completely rusted out beware

They were very helpful in helping me find what I needed. Prices were better than I could find anywhere else for the motor I needed.

I ordered a new motor for my spa pump. It can very quickly and was exactly what I ordered. Works great. Great motor at a great price.

I ordered a liner and it never arrived and inyo won't answer the phone or send me a refund. They are disreputable. Buyer beware!

I ordered some valves and I'm really glad they showed up on time! I'll order again from them for sure.

I have had continuous issues with the suction side of the pool filter system with air leaks and spent lots of time and effort to eliminate them mostly without success:-(. Using the 3-Way Diverter Valves with Unions at each eliminated a great number of "glued" connection which over time (my pool is 22 years old) start to "leak" or because it's the suction side, they such air into the system which makes the filter system less effective. The Unions included on the 3-Way Diverter Valve were very well made with thick rubber gaskets (which can be replaced as they wear). This also allowed me to align all the pool lines coming into these 3-Way Diverter Valves, two (2) skimmers, Main Drain, and Vacuum lines. Being a DIY kind of guy, I found it much easier to align and get good seals with these Union included 3-Way Diverter Valves than the alternative gluing which admittedly takes some experience and skill to complete successfully - but as I found the glued connections eventually leak, and typically the only way to repair is to try some caulk, and replace O-Rings in the Diverter Valves - the point is you can not easily replace "glued-in" Diverter Valves. When/if I need to replace the Diverter Valves with Unions at each port it will be simple.

On the face of it one would think this company, Inyo Pools, was great. They have great "how to" videos posted and blogs etc. but their customer service is absolutely terrible. Wish I had visited BBB and Site Jabber before starting to deal with them.

I had a pool pump motor fail over a weekend. I sent in a email request on how to change out to a compatible variable speed pump which has gone unanswered to this day (over a week later). Because they seemed to have good techs and videos to help with this problem I thought maybe because of the weekend they missed it so sent in a chat box request on Monday. This is what they recommend on their own phone answering message. Response - no one was there to answer. So I called and waited on hold for 20 mins plus only to get some tech geek with zero manners and after a very frustrating phone conversation got the information I needed and subsequently ordered the pump motor.

Then I sat there waiting for the motor to ship. After two days nothing seemed to have happened so I sent in an email information request about this which was answered and I was told it would ship that day. Which it did. But I felt like if I had not questioned why the motor had not shipped it may never have happened.

Thankfully all went well with the motor swap out and I am happy about the overall outcome from that point of view.

I do not like writing negative reviews, but sometimes I feel like other people need to be warned about bad companies doing business on the internet. There is obviously something wrong with the way this company is doing business. Its either money, the people they have and/or cannot retain, or they are just playing the "middle man". There are too many clients out there writing negative reviews which all seem to strike a similar complaint. They do seem to be very good at responding to the complaints but why not do something to ward them off in the first place.

I will NOT use this company again and recommend others to stay clear.
