I've been trying to get my order filled or a refund since last summer. No action. When I get them on the phone, they say they will research and call me back. They never do. The people who own this business and work there should be in jail. Shameful.
Like previous reviews. I placed an order over a month ago and tried to cancel the order because I received no updates or anything. The customer service line takes you into voice mail every time. This place is a scam and I am contacting the BBB.
So, I still have no product or refund. I am done. I just want to share with you what I am going to share on every internet review site and social media platform I can.
I ordered from Institution Wine on September 28th, 2019. My order was $156 worth of product. It is now January 7th, 2020 and I have not received my order or a refund, regardless that I have called and emailed numerous times.
I order online a lot and I have never experienced such an unprofessional and untruthful company. This is nothing less than theft. Unfortunately for me, I didn't read the few reviews online about this company before allowing them to debit my bank account for an order that I would never receive. This is theft.
I advise everyone to never order from this disreputable, unprofessional, untruthful, and thieving company
I placed an order on InstitutionWine.com (order IW4098, in case the InstitutionWine people bother to read these review) on March 25,2019. Then, on June 17,2019, when I inquired about my order, the reply was "... the wine was backordered. Its (sic) due in next week and your order will ship right out." Needless to say, the order never arrived. I checked again on October 7 and on December 31,2019. I haven't received a reply to these emails.
DO NOT EVEN THINK OF ORDERING FROM THIS COMPANY, if there actually is a real company hiding behind this name. I placed an order in December 2019 and it never shipped. They made excuses, then stopped answering emails and never did return any phone calls. STAY AWAY!
Order placed mid December 2019, order cancelled and refund offered on 1/20/20 and on 2/25/20 still no refund. Now they will not even respond to my emails.
I order a case of wine from these guys and after numerous phone calls and emails, still no wine 6 months later. These guys are criminals. Do not order from them.
This is a Fraudulent company. They will never ship your order, get back to you or refund your money.
Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere. I have tried for 21 months to have a simple order filled- no phone, unresponsive to email and snail mail.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY! I ordered four bottles of wine from Institution Wine and was billed $171.92 on September 7,2019. The wine did not arrive by September 26th so I contacted the company to inquire about the delay. I was told that the wine was out of stock and would be delivered in 2 or 3 weeks. Still the wine did not arrive. I again contacted the company on October 7th, November 5th and each time I was assured that the wine would be shipped in the coming weeks. The wine was never shipped. On January 13th, 15th and 30th, I again contacted the company offering that they could substitute several different wines of similar value that appeared to be in stock on their website. There was no response from customer service. I have repeatedly emailed and left telephone messages which the company has not returned. DO NOT GET SCAMMED - DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY!
