Worst customer service. No phone number to call. And why do we have to link our bank account when we transfer money? Really? Not only putting our account number but also our password. GOOD LORD.
It is my first time and will be the last.
I made a transfer with them. The money returned to them from beneficiary bank but they didn't refund it. I phoned them but they asked me very strange questions and declined that my phone is registered with them!
They deserve 0 stars... Stay away... lousy Customer service, and will play with your money, particularly larger amounts. Took my money, asked for documentation but didn't make the transfer. I then asked them to refund the money but they refused. They benefited by the rates moving up the next day or so, i lost more than SGD 2000 by them not refunding.
I then found SingX which offers far better exchange rate as well as better service. Will NEVER GO BACK to Instarem!
I opened an account and day asked for additional documents, I uploaded documents and they sent an email for extra really really unnecessary information which is sort of harassment. After 4 days, I sent another followup email and asked them to verify my account. I think they just steal your data without any service in return. Big Scam!
They Holded my money of 200 SGD then asked my bank statement. I sent all those and after 1 week they refund the amount without any reason. Then again i sent the money to other account they do the same. They are frauds. Multinational frauds. If you want to give money to your dear ones in time use other services. Please away from this frauds
InstaRem is little bit slow than others but does transfer your money safely. They have recently slashed their fees to become competitive with others like remitly. After sign up an account with Instarem, it is good to see new user being offer Instapoints when account being verify within 36 hours. However, its mobile site have problem of "hang" when tried to use "Singpass" to verify, whether google chrome or safari.
The Online Chat agent interface is not mobile friendly site as the view of the chat window would be hidden by 1/4, hard time to view not to say typing.
Chat agent wont be offer to help after waiting for tens of minute and just disconnect you if not hear back within 5 minutes or less.
So the story is, dont use mobile or smartphone to do Instarem transaction, you will be penalized for their unstable site and yet they would claim their site working properly, Chat agent suggest "use laptop or another phone to attempt again".
This was not happened to another payment service provider: Transferwise which i have been using the same smartphone to sign up and verify via Singpass.
I transferred funds using Instarem at 11 AM, by 5 PM on the same day I got the email from my block Account service provider that my funds has received, Thanks to Instarem support specially Mr. Umesh Khajale, you guys super quick and doing wonderful job. Exchange rates are very low as compared to other service providers with minimal transaction fee. I made a money transfer (euro to INR) through Instarem. I transferred the corresponding money to Instarem on the same day. But Instarem cancelled the money transfer transaction stating no money credited to their account in 72 hours. But my money was transferred to their account on day 1 and is deducted from my account. Neither they are transferring back the Euro currency nor responding to my emails on their support mail id. It is been 10 days now, still no solution from their side. They are silent, Very unprofessional and alarming. They are holding my money which is not a small amount. I'm very very disappointed at their service.
If you are thinking of using the service like me before starting it seems all good. Got sales rep come to verify your document citing will help you this and that. After sending funds to them to transfer they give you all sort of reason to reject your transfer. End up they say they refund you. But then keep asking for various documents and keep delaying the refund. I send since 4th May 2018 and today is already 18th may and i dont get any refunds at all. Money still hold ransom by them. I have launched an official fraud case complaint to bank negara and waiting for reply. If you have plenty of monies to put in there to get stuck then go ahead and use them. No faking. Istarem malaysia uses a transaction reference number. My number is IN*******... go and check if what i mention is fake. Is a case right now with them.
Please Avoid this Company. I make the transfer from MYR to USD on 15 OCT.
Instarem said transfer is completed however beneficiary accountNo no receive any fund transfer from instarem.
Instarem gave me the Trace Number and value date and ask me to check in beneficiary account. Ends up trace number is invalid.
I ask for the receipt and they keep saying this is USD payment. No any receipt provided.
They even cant prove the trace number they gaven is valid or not.
Today is 4 November. I still don't know where my money go.
Instarem refuse to provide more details or proof of transfer.
This is scammm. They keep ask me to wait.

I have been trying to contact the customer service to find out where is my money as I started a transaction one week ago, first they asked me to send proof that I sent the money, they deducted the money directly from my bank so this shouldn't be a step but I sent the info, then after 4 days they reply saying they got the funds and sent them to the destination bank, it has been 25 hours since they funds were "sent" and we haven't got the money, if you want a good service and a good company to use and send money go with Xoom or Remitly, Instarem is the worst one ever, I have been using them for about a year and every transaction they had a new problem, I continued using them because they paid more money than other ones, but I won't use them anymore after this issue.
Please dont use POLI payments. Payments are not completed instantly but they are keeping the money for 1 -2 days and saying they have technical issues.
Beware of their Service!

It's my first time to use this InstaRem & I was so disappointed. It's the worst company ever if your sending your loved ones abroad. I get interested at first to try their service since better rate, your earning points everytime you send money they get me there, but I didnt know it will be a nightmare for me! I sent $800 to the Philippines that was Sunday Nov 24,2019 hoping that my family will get it on d day that they need unfortunately they didn't. I have to call Instarem almost everyday just to check my money why it's taking too long despite of the fact that my money was already been debited from my checking account. I understand some delays coz of Thanksgiving but even after the holiday still didnt get the money! Customer service is not very helpful & just seems not to care for the customer. If you ask for supervisors or manager cant connect you rather they'll tell that supervisor will give me a callback. Really frustrating experienced. Worst worst company! To make the story short my money didn't really get into my bank account in the Philippines after waiting for almost 2 weeks can't really tell me the reason why so we ended up refunding my money back after my situation has been escalated & I've been calling them EVERYDAY!

Avoid if you can. I had a horrible experience with their team in Singapore. Despite writing to them twice, they don't act on it. You have to follow up with the instant chat every time because no one replies to e-mail. The onboarding experience is so poor that they ask you to take picture with ID card and upload and in majority of the cases it gets rejected not once but twice say things are not visible. When you question them, they reject profile without providing reasons. Forget about transferring money, crossing the verification process is a nightmare. Sometimes you feel that in order to save 5 bucks should you have to go through this pain. By the way I doubt their motives because they store all information related to you even after rejecting your profile. When you ask them to delete because its your personal info and when you have nothing to do with the site, they say they just deactivated it. Why do they want to store your information, when you haven't done any transaction with them. It scares me off.
