After an entire month of jumping through hoops, and applying for several puppies, I never even got to see one. I received emails informing me that all the dogs I had been interested and had been adopted out. I finally responded and informed them that I had found a reputable breeder Who had a dog I wanted. Only then did I finally received an email from Kim, the Director. She told me that I did not get a dog because I already exceeded the number of dogs allowed in Aurora. Of course she was wrong, and I sent her the link so she would have the correct information. But then she went on to lecture me about how bad all breeders are without having any specific information at all about the breeder who provided me my dog. I really wanted to adopt a puppy who needed extra love because he came from a bad situation. But clearly there is no shortage of homes. Be prepared to learn to sit and stay for a long, long time and then still not get a puppy from this place.
