Ordered a lehenga and saree for a friend's wedding. I've never ordered Indian clothes before but had a great experience (enough so that I'm motivated to write a review, which I rarely do). Both outfits were beautiful and incredibly well-made. I also asked for an inconvenient adjustment to be made to one of them, and they did it perfectly. Both outfits fit well. The ordering process involved a lot of measuring, and the website provided clear walk-throughs of each measurement, which was super nice as someone who's not used to sending measurements for clothes. I'm very happy with my experience, and would definitely recommend ordering from them.

I ordered 2 items March 29. One of the two items arrived six weeks later with writing in permanent marker. It was unusable. The other item never arrived.
I've been trying to get a refund for 3 weeks now with no luck.
I don't recommend this store.
Edit: The "token amount as compensation based on our mutual conversation" as noted in the company response was a small fraction of what I paid for the damaged item to be mailed to me, not to mention the duties I had to pay. In order to receive the refund, I had to delete my review which I highlighted is illegal. Shady company, horrible quality, don't waste your money...

Everything about my order was difficult. Getting the size correct, communicating with someone who is in a time zone so far away they don't answer emails for at least 24 hours. When you want to return a size that doesn't fit you have to pay the shipping and it cost more than the item did. So I just kept the item even though I cannot wear it. And the items don't actually look like they appear on the website. I will not order from them again!

Not up to the mark with he services or the material or the site description. I feel it is a scam website with some fake employees. This lady called herself a designer and never gave me options nor was ready to take my ideas. It is just a scam website. Wasted all my money on this website.

Received my saree which did not look like what I ordered.
Apart from the colour, the saree has just gold work while I expected Silver/Gold Sequence and Moti work as shown in the attached 2nd photo.
Furthermore, the material described as Banarasi Silk doesn't seem like what I received.
The print on the saree is also different from what is shown.
The order had an estimated shipping date was April 9,2024, but after a couple of inquiries, it was shipped on April 21,2024.
I feel disappointed because if I knew that the saree would be changed, I would have ordered something else.
Now I am contemplating if I should order anything else, or even recommend IWS to anyone.

The bloke fit was OK. In the UK we are more bigger breasted and the fit that came back was good. They still have some learning to do on the fits but I was impressed with the service. I got better updates than I would have done in person.
