The program is decent, however it seems at the end receiving the certificate is an issue.
I'm told this was shipped, yet they don't have a tracking of for this and in order to get a new certificate you have to pay an additional $10.
Making the course to be over $45 which is a lot more than its competitors.
I would recommend to use another program
This sucks... i guess they have the stupidest and cheap software, it can't recognize your voice and make you take the course from the beginning... NO ONE SHOULD TAKE THIS COURSE..

I took an online course. Upon completion I requested a copy of my certification. Although their FAQ states I am entitled to a copy, no one can send me a copy.
Therefore if you are using I Drivev Safely program I give you fair warning that they will not send you a copy of your certificate that you paid for.
Overall the course was good but not being able to get a certificate copy makes the expense worthless.
I managed call centers for 27 years of my life. When you ask to speak to a manager and you are told there is no one here. That is total bull$#*!. There is always more than one supervisor or manager on site to handle complaints.
I also tried to get a name at their corporate office. That was unavailable to be as well.
So be watered what you are paying them for.

I liked being able to take this course from the comfort of my home. I was sick and unable to take the instructor lead course on Saturday, and though I should not have waited so long to take the class, I am happy to say I got it done. I never read any of the reviews prior to taking this class, only that it was approved by the DMV in New York, which for me was really all I needed to know. My only issue is that at the end of spending 7 hours straight watching the videos and taking 8 quizzes, there is a "Final Exam Score" page, and though I passed each one easily, I had no percentage whatsoever. It literally says, "FInal Exam Score:" and then nothing after that. I am going to court tomorrow and it would have been much more comforting to be able to show the prosecutor that; "yes i did take the course, and yes i passed." I guess I will know more in 2-8 business days which is the amount of time for them to deliver the certificate. I really think as a suggestion, this website could do the people a solid by letting them print out an official certificate of completion so that folks like me would be able to bring some evidence in when going to court. I get that they need to notarize the certificate but something with my score and the amount of time spent taking the class would really help me not look bad trying to explain this in court. All in all I thought it was time well spent and much better than the classroom class any day.
After spending time taking a chunk of the course, their voice authentication system didn't work, and I received a message that I would lose the progress made on my course and have to do it all again. Find a program with a better system. They were very accommodating about my course refund though.

My son went through the course for his permit, scored 100 on his practice tests but failed the exam twice at the DMV. I thought it was him but the instructor says that their practice tests are useless for studying for the exam and the questions are outdated. I contacted customer service and they said. " The practice test are not the same as the questions that are given at the DMV, the questions are for practice and not a main resource to pass the exam. " So what good is the course or tests if they don't help you pass the test. Basically once you do the course, you can not get a refund or any help, so they get your money and you are left studying new material and paying more at the DMV, Look for a different company, this one is terrible!
Please beware that this website doesn't support traffic tickets issued by federal court. I purchased the course and then found out that they don't work with federal court tickets via their online chat support. I asked for a refund and they refused to do that even I could not use their service at all. I think that is bad customer service, especially for an online digital product.

Of course I would rather do the course online, and if all goes smoothly this may be ok. However if you need help, nobody answers the phone (after 20 min they say they will call you back but I am still waiting). Chat takes just as long as is also never available. Don't mind the waste of money as much as waste of time - this is a scam

I had no issues with the course and referred several friends who then signed up. I've been waiting over 2 months for my gift card for making the referral and have yet to recieve it. I've sent several emails all to be ignored.

My daughter took this course a few years ago. We need a copy of her certificate of completion mailed or emailed for insurance purposes. We have given them 3 different email addresses to try and the email will not come through. I asked to be transferred to a supervisor - held for 2 minutes then they forced me to leave a message. They suck!

This is driving me crazy!
After 6h of my time, the system was not able to verify my voice for no reason. And now all my progress are gone!
This is a freaking stupid system, I don't even know what I can do better since I have been doing the same every time I did the verification, in the same room, using the same phone.
I need an explanation please, you can't just ask people to spend 6h and then another 6h. I don't even know if the same thing will happen again or not, because of this stupid black box voice verification.
I want a refund asap and I will take defensive driving course else where. Again, this is driving me crazy for a completely wasted 6 hour of my life! PLEASE FIX YOUR PROBLEM!

If there is an option of 0 star, I would not hesitate to use it. Do not ever waste your time with this extremely annoying program. Their voice recognition is ridiculously frustrating to use, it asked you many times throughout the course, but was unable to recognize correctly. Their customer service is 24/7 if you want to stay on the phone for an hour or even longer till someone can pick up the phone with any help.
After completing the course, I entered my shipping address as requested. The company printed the certificate with my shipping address and is requesting a $10.00 fee to make any change to the certificate.

I have never written a review in my life. I always give things the benefit of the doubt. I purchased a drivers improvement course and although the timing and basic level of the content could be annoying to some, I didn't mind. What bothered me is that 3 times upon hitting submit of a quiz and then the final test, my page failed to reload. I kept trying to log back in to no avail. After calling customer service each time and telling them that I had already completed their suggestions of clearing history/cache/cookies, switching browsers, switching wifi, switching devices, being the only person using wifi, restarting my device, updating Java, and turning wifi on and off, they said they didn't know how they could help and that customer service is 24/7 if I needed more help. Who needs round the clock customer service if it's useless? DO NOT USE THIS PROGRAM

I signed up for the online driving course to lower my insurance rate. After spending 3+ hours taking the course, their voice verification technology failed and erased all my progress. Do not waste your time and money on this. The customer service representative, Robert, sounded miserable and was completely unhelpful when I called to see if my progress could be reinstated. I was given a refund for the course, but I'd like my 3 hours back too.

Really bad, wobbly ancient technology; No ability to skip or fast forward stuff you know; overbearing lectures; turgid detail you don't need repeated endlessly; cheesy movies inserted into the course; two whole hokey chapters on 'consequences' that read more like a religious sermon. If you get the wrong answer because you have zoned out, they make you do the whole stupid chapter again. Its the worst training course I've ever seen. Its 2017 for heavens sake! I'm stuck with it because I need the certificate. Don't do this to yourself!

Though I was paying like 7 bucks--per their advertisement, but then it ended up being like 30 and I couldn't back out of it. Course content is twice as long as necessary, the timer is a joke. The content is dated. Only the front page and their tricky ability to upsell the customer for more money are impressive.

I really thought I can let this go but I can't. I was taking my permit test and I was on the 38 question, I click the answer and continue but it wouldn't load. When it did it says post error, I login back its the same problem. At the end i fail the test because time runs out. I dont know if i was going to pass or not because this website didn't give me a chance to. I am about to be 18 without a permit and i am scare to take the permit test online.
Hi Ruthza- I'm sorry to hear this. Unfortunately, it seems that the time ran out while you were taking the exam. You are given 60 minutes to pass the exam.
