Initially, I was pleased with Identity Guard - it was exactly what I needed with monitoring bank accounts, etc. Since summer of 2023 - it has unlinked all my accounts and no longer will monitor them. I have repeatedly relinked them with great difficulty several times and shortly after relinking, they unlink again. Now, I can't link them at all. I have multiple bank accounts and it was easy to look in one place to watch their security and now this services is not providing what was promised.
I attempted to speak with Customer Service on this issue, who had no clue why this was happening and told me that I still have access to their other services so I should be fine. Kind of like telling the person who ordered a steak and baked potato dinner at a restaurant, "Well, here is the steak, you should be fine without the potato." But you still have to pay full price.
They will not refund me what I have paid (annual subscription) - their response was basically "Too bad, so sad" and "you really don't need that service"
Worst Customer Service I have experienced in decades. If you are looking for an identity monitoring company - LOOK ELSEWHERE

I am happy to report that after I filed a BBB complaint-Identity Guard finally gave me a refund.

I'm really happy to have found Identity Guard! I've been looking at credit protection type sites for a long time but could never get myself to pull the trigger. Then, I saw all the different options offered by Identity Guard.

I was relieved to see that have a plan that is less than $7/month! Now that's something you almost can't live without. I thought that was a great basic place to start. But, they also have higher levels of protection too. You can even get anti-virus software and keylogger alerts which is really valuable these days with all the hackers out there.

Also, if you want even more protection, you can protect your kids' identities and information as well with a separate package.

They make it easy to start, affordable, and the peace of mind is totally worth it.

My husband and I decided to get Identity guard after my wallet was stolen a few years back. We wanted peace of mind, and boy did it come in handy! I was notified of a suspicious account opened at Walmart by someone who was not me. If it hadn't have been for Identity guard, I really would have had no idea until I checked my credit report again for some reason in the future. I definitely recommend it to all my friends! At this price, you can't beat the security it provides.

The Identityguard.com website makes both a professional and friendly impression at first glance. The site is easy to read and understand; I found it to be interactive with thorough contact details that were easy to find. The site is also easy to navigate, has a welcoming feel and a good site map.
Since identity theft is so common these days, we consumers need all the information we can get and this site provides it. I first heard about Identity Guard when I learned about child identity theft being on the rise. Being a savvy mom I went in search of more information to become educated, which is when I found ID Guard. They have an amazing resource center and a great trial offer. Ultimately, I tested them out to see what they offered and I was and still am happy with their services. While the cost may seem high to some, there opportunity to protect my family from ID theft (among other things) is worth the money. If I was still making "peanuts" like I was in college I wouldn't have the same thoughts, but now that I have a family to worry about as well as a comfortable income (with a kick $#*! 800+ credit score) I take this service and roll it into my "insurance" budget each month. While it's not for everyone, you may be pleasantly surprised to see what they offer in terms of resources and services. Check them out if you're thinking about protecting yourself or family from ID Theft and want to track your credit / activity etc.
