On Glassdoor, IDC Technologies has an excellent footprint, in parallel with my experience. Their strengths are speed, compensation, access to brand names, temp to perm and myriad market access. Their current growth spurt, however, is creating some challenges. At the end of the day, I do believe their services are top notch.
As such the growth of this MNC has created a hectic process for on boarding. The requirements for client side can be hard to satisfy as per clients request can change from one day to the next. But big growth of IDC is still topper and you can avail work with biggest top shot names. So I do recommend and was satisfied with service.
IDC Technologies, Inc is not a fake company or a scam. It's a great company that has provided me with many opportunities via the services they offer. As an independent contractor, I've never had any issues with payment and I get compensated a premium for what I provide (see attached) - their service is top notch.
Are there bad recruiters doing unsavory things? Possibly. IDC is huge and it would be impossible to control every single recruiter. Unfortunately, this minority can tarnish the entire company's reputation.
IDC Technologies is a real company with legit work and good clients. Looks like others have had issues, I haven't. Perhaps there a few bad apples in the org or maybe there are still having issues with less scrupulous entities/individuals posing as IDC.
In any case, I haven't experienced difficulties enlisting their services and now that covid is going away I'm noticing more and better contracts/projects/work opportunities.
20 emails a day and has nothing to do with my professional. They are looking for locals and I am not even in that country! Job descriptions say nothing about the job, very obvious copy-paste. They speak broken English with an Indian accent, I can't even read their email, and they can't answer any questions about the job.
Never-ending harassing emails every day for fake vacancies that waste your morning. All they want is to verify if your email is active and get your information to sell.
Put them in your block list!
15 emails a day about jobs that don't really match my qualifications, unsolicited neverending phone calls if you respond to even a single email. So scattered and disorganized that I can't even imagine what working for them would be like.
There were some communication issues in the beginning. Eventually, though, I go the contract I wanted at the salary I wanted - the most important thing.
I've had no issues with the vendor or IDC handling third party payroll. I would strongly suggest having perfectly filled out timesheets with all correct details so there are no delays.
Avoid these liars.
I have emailed them but no response. Some awful company at hirexa. Sound like scammers. I asked for details of their complaints handler but no response. I think it is due to me being an Asian Bangladeshi Muslim? Avoid these liars. Extremely negative experience. Just terrible. I would not recommend these lot as an employer or as a service provider.
The IDC Technologies Bangalore branch helped me get a decent career with good benefits through H1B. Unfortunately, as with many hiring agencies, it can be a challenge to get clear and precise instructions from your superiors. It would be a great improvement if the supervisors put more effort into providing a review of your work performance, and did so in a timely manner. IDC is still better than other agencies, however.
Not a real company...no physical presence in the United States despite what their website shows...trust me. They will sell your information and have nothing to do with IT recruiting.
DEMAND your cybersecurity vendors block idctechnologies.com immediately.
Protect yourselves
Very intelligent and friendly staff, they treated me like I am one of their own. The recruiters were terrific, particularly Linda, who helped me get the job I wanted and prepared me for every aspect of the interview.
The CEO, Prateek Gattani, has grown this company really fast. The salary for the contracts was very competitive and many of the recruiters have extensive knowledge and experience with the industries they are filling positions for, a big plus. The lack of knowledge I've seen in other agencies causes a lot of misinformation about the jobs you're being interviewed for which sometimes makes a job interview very uncomfortable.
I was concerned about IDC Technologies fraud because of the information posted in wikis and reviews. However, according to the BBB and IDC's site this is the result of unsavory characters posing as IDC. Thankfully, my recruiters made securing a contract fast and easy which gave me the necessary skills to help develop my capabilities for long-term benefits to use in another field. My 2 years enlisting the services of this company so far have been great and supremely beneficial, so I would definitely seek future opportunities here again. Also, I never felt pressure to do anything. Seeking a contract and having a temp position seemed like a secondary aspect, not the main focal point unlike other companies.
IDC Technologies Inc has sourced multiple SEO, SEM, social media and video marketing contracts for me. They always have something available when other agencies don't. I highly recommend enlisting their services if you are in need of employment, short or long term.
I realize that IDC Technologies (Noida) did their best to prepare me for the interview questions and find the right position for me, but I wasn't happy with the office I ended up being placed in. Luckily they were there to help me out and found me a different contract quickly.
I present to you today lucky scammer number #432
Pros: Can read a script
Cons: Doesn't know english and hiring for CITI bank Business Analyst. 1. Citi bank does outsource their hiring process by using third parties...how do I know? I called CITI haha.
Quick run down: IF a company is calling you regarding a job...its a scam... Apply directly on their website and don't use ZIPrecruiter.
THEY ARE SELLING YOUR INFORMATION WHEN YOU NEED EMPLOYMENT THE MOST
From day one the London office has a slap dash approach to everything. Their phone staff can barely speak English and they're sitting so close to their colleagues that you can hear other conversations clearly. They are incapable of answering basic questions over the phone and email and their GDPR compliance is shoddy. They want way too much unnecessary information and when questioned they hide behind their default excuse of 'because HRMC Guidelines'.
They do not properly communicate their signup requirements to their customers and to get a straight answer or clarification out of them is near impossible.
The email correspondence is in broken English - often difficult to decipher. Emails bounce all the time to their domain. There is also no email or phone contact for London, which makes things even more difficult. I used to have a contact person in the company, but he's since left and I was given no other point of contact.
I've emailed the general info@ account with an urgent query. Got an auto responder and a week later nobody has bothered to contact me.
I constantly have to pick up the admin slack to get anything moving. IDC is a service provider but they barely manage to do the bare minimum to start with.
Unfortunately with the IR35 requirements that were set to change in April 2020 (now delayed by a year) we were not given any other choice other than IDC for an umbrella company.
If I had a choice I'd ditch this useless company immediately.
Very unethical company, does not pay vendors or employees, its a blackmark on my resume to get a new job
Never deal with this company. Once you do, you'll get an endless torrent of job vacancies, even if you aren't even in the country where they reside.
IDC Technologies Its a scammer company located in India, they get your information and sell it to scamming call centers in India.
Answer: They made fake promises about their clients and payments, which turned out to be a nightmare
Answer: Impossible, they dont have a customer service team, they have only a HR and recruiting team, which will disspear once the services are provided, very efficient way of avoiding calls, seems they have become experts in it
Answer: It is a complete Scam, they dont pay vendors at all, No H1b, only take the money and dissapear
