Total scam on every level. Trust me. Before bidding do a search for the items. Most of the items that you are "lucky enough to win" are on Amazon or other sites at the "Auction fee".

For example a Gold Digger Metal Detector, is valued at $350.00 on ibid2save with a $64.00 auction fee. Search for that in google and you can find the SAME item, same exact screenshot on amazon.com for $56.00. Its cheaper to buy it directly from Amazon rather than waste you time and money bidding on inferior products.

Total Scam.

Is there less than 1 star! This is the WORST of the worst. I lie to you not. I'm lucky as I spent only about $7 for some bids. Then they gave me 300 and 350. So I gather they're giving everybody else "free" bids too. You NEVER win. I see people bidding over $17 on a $20 gift card and when they add in auction/shipping fee, they pay over $20 for a $20 gift card? Why do they do that? Gift cards are about the only interesting thing I see plus a few computer type items. I can't imagine this site will survive.

One of the newer sites which always makes me proceed with caution. I love these types of sites, you can get great deals. People post reviews and don't really understand the industry and how these sites work. I suggest you go to sites that have been around for a few years like Quibids, beezid and Happybidday.

Ibid2Save makes finding out about the auction fee and other fees associated with the bids you win! They know they scam people and always have their scripted replies ready. "We always try..." to make money! Indeed! Even if you win a bid at a small percentage of the value-odds are there's a Catch-22. And most of their items are not actual tangible products but redemption codes. Wanna guess why? The third party site charges you another fee! Also, you can forget help from BBB or PAYPAL because the item will be considered "intangible" and therefore not covered by buyer protection or is it easy to dispute. IBid2Save's a penny auction scam-way worse than Quibids! Stick to ebay auctions and web deals- they are much more safe!

We all know the saying "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is"... Well, in this case, it turned out I was wrong. My experience with ibid2save has been a realistic one. At first, I was really skeptical about any penny auctions website, until i came across this one, from which I've really easily won an Apple iPad. Truth is, if you are not rational about things, you can have a bad experience with anything, but if you are calculated, and know how to keep your mind "cool", your overall internet experience overall will improve. I, personally understand that, as ANY business model, this needs to be sustainable, they can't give their products away easily (although i wish they did). I hope you guys have at least the experiece I've had with them. It was pretty damn good!

Cheers!

I was worried that auction sites are extinct so I was a bit skeptic at the thought of trying "my luck". After seeing my cousin win his first macbook I just had to give it a go. In less than a week I won an iphone 5.
Thanks guys, you are amazing, I hope others can enjoy my experience!

The site is great
April 21, 2014

The site is great. The people below with all of the negative reviews do not know that you can just click on the image of the auction and it gives you a description and all costs upfront!

They have weekly coupons for free bids!

I like to stock up the free bids and then bid on the $20 gift cards.

Just found a ton of cute stuff on this site! I'm addicted, and also got some cool stuff for my boyfriend. I can't believe some of the prices I'm getting this stuff for. Their customer service is so nice too when I had questions. Telling my friends for sure about this find

So many great deals. I was a bit skeptical but man I have made out at this site! There is some stuff that is up really just for the bids but there is tons of great vacations, cruises, jewelry, and gift cards that I won! I made a ton of purchases to get deals and bids that they attach to auctions to win more gift cards. This site is so easy to win, and way better than those other sites. They do things differently I'll give some of the reviews that much, but they just are not getting it I guess. Don't pay attention to them, ibid2save is the best site I've seen in awile!

I usually don't write reviews but I was trying to figure out which penny auction to bid at. I went to allpennyauctions.com and saw ibid2save was #1 in Value returned to consumers so I tried them out yesterday. I saw it was super easy to win some stuff, so I knew there had to be some sort of catch. There kinda was. A 4.9% auction fee when you pay for what you win. Once I got past that i had to pay a fee and did the math though I realized I was getting some great deals! I got a $100 shopping card, a 3/2 cruise to the Bahamas for 2, a 3/2 vacation for 2, and a $300 health egift card for just around $100! Are you kidding me! I also am sitting on a ton of bids now that came with the won auctions to try and win some amazon or visa gift cards. Gonna tell all my girls about this cool new site!

Wtf..
August 11, 2014

Wtf. Auction fee $20 there is no mentioning of auction fees before purchasing bids. Seems extremely odd how auctions ends every second with no bids. As soon as you win it shows auction fees (they collect these fees and doesn't ship squat).

Love love Love this site. So easy to win. I love that ibid2save does not force you to buy bids like the rest of the penny auctions out there. They are very generous with coupons too it seems. I won a 3/2 vacation and got the ecode with a good amount of promo bids also. I had to pay deposit to reserve the room of $50, but I found out I get it back. The directions were easy to follow, i got the email code sent to me, and got this all for under $30 after their fees! I also have won some other ecodes, some jewelry, and now have a ton of bids to try and win some gift cards and apple stuff.

Keep in mind, I'm not a real big fan of these penny auction sites to begin with. BUT, Ibid2save has got to be the WORST one I've come across so far. Sure they entice you with a few hundred "free" promo bids every once in awhile. But, in the end, you pay dearly out of pocket. Win an auction... you're out the bids you bought + pay the winning bid amount + pay an auction fee + pay handling fee = I paid too much. It really hits home when you win on specific items (other than gift cards) AND if you win bid packs/promo bids. I won a cheaply made hello kitty necklace for 17 cents but the auction fee was $11.99 plus handling fee of $1.99. I was so excited to win a 1000 bid promo pack for $1.13 but the auction fee was $54.99 plus a handling fee. Kinda rains all over your parade when you think you've just gotten the best deal ever. My honest opinion is to just stay away... it's not worth the effort OR the money.

All the positive comments on this website are placed by someone working for the company. It is the worst company I have ever worked with. I won three gift cards one for 20, one for 200 and one for 500. All of the winning bids were cancelled and they said their site had a malfunction and I wasn't supposed to win. I did howerver have to pay for the 500 dinning which is paying for coupons. And the 200 hotel which is only good if you stay for 7 nights. This is litterally the worst site you could go to.

I bid on a "Treasure Chest" and expected a box full of stuff - maybe just little junky items, but something. Instead I got a tiny box with a real cheap USB hub (maybe worth about $5) and two pieces of paper giving me a discount for some NASCAR thing - not a free thing, just a discount - and another piece of paper for a vacation package. I'm not a NASCAR fan and I don't travel, so these things are useless to me. This was supposed to be a Treasure Chest worth over $500, but it's not. It's crap. I don't know about the physical prizes, but DO NOT bid on the Treasure Chests.

I won an auction on Jan 12th. For one cent... I knew there would be an auction fee and shipping. That's not the problem, the problem is I never received anything. I have contacted them 4 times (2 calls, 1 email, and once on facebook) and nothing. They won't even return any of my messages. I guess I now contact my credit card company to dispute the charges... BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!

When I 1st signed up, I won several bids for 1 cent. A mystery bag full of cheap junk, a treasure chest also filled with cheap junk. Then a $100 e-card that I am unable to access, a $500 restaurant card with not one single restaurant in my vicinity. All were on a 1 cent bid, plus auction fee and shipping charges. I have also had to call them multiple times to get my items. One clue, if they say the mailbox is full for inquiries about a prize won, select the customer service option. You will get to talk to a real person. All of the items that go for 1 cent are junk, some of the others that sound good are really ripoffs, and the electronic stuff can be purchased online or in a brick and morter store for much, much less that the value they put on the items.

Don't be sucked in by the thrill of winning an auction for a penny! After the fees you actually have a worthless membership to something. The ski/snowboard discount package had no discounts to top ski areas! The 200 ebook downloads were for books you read in middle school- I couldn't find ONE I actually wanted to read! STAY AWAY!
