If Iready was a person I would run it over with a bus and its body in a toaster. Then I would turn on the toaster and turn it into a pop tart.
I hate I ready with every fiber of my body. I've stayed up until 3am and passed out from exhaustion while trying to get my two my path lessons done for the week. And I've literally cried over this $#*!ed app. And for the rational and irrational numbers lesson, it forced you to go through all like 5 of those damn problems. When we can likely tell that it was the $#*!ING IRRATIONAL NUMBER THAT MADE THE ROBOT MALFORMATION! And, it treats us like we're 3.
I-ready. The worst #@*cking mistake the world has ever brought upon. I warn anyone that reads this to not do I-ready. I have lost someone very dear to e because of this stupid so-called learning app. My friend, Candace, hung herself because of this. I warn you, the person reading this, to not do I-ready. This might just happen to you.
This "learning game" SUCKS. Every time I do the diagnostic, I get the worst rating, and when I finally see that I did it, I always do worse the next time! The characters look like they're for 1st graders, this site is boring, but it is not as painful as Xtramath. For teachers and students, beware. This clever app will make your students hate math. I am a 5th grader and I always hated this since 2nd grade. Just...JUST DONT USE THIS! It's not worth it.
So for starters this website is sooooo slow and our teachers force us to do it no one likes it. Its so dumb because when you "fail" you have to re start and it is soo annoying this sucks i want to just go to sleep
Very stressful and not worth it. I'm in 6th grade and have been using I-ready for 4 years (I was forced to start in 2nd grade). It really only causes more stress and work for students and costs my school system A LOT of money. Overall it makes me dislike school a lot.
THIS $#*!ED $#*!ING APP, I SWEAR TO GOD THIS DOG$#*! KICKED MY BALLS AND $#*!ING GOUGED MY EYES OUT.
IF YOU WANT TO USE IREADY, JUST SLIDE DOWN A BANISTER MADE OF CHEESE GRATERS AND THEN USE A $#*!ING CACTUS AS A DILDO, IT DOES THE SAME THING TO YOU. I WOULD RATHER GO TO A $#*!ING NAZI CONCENTRATION CAMP THAN DO ANOTHER IREADY LESSON, IT'S THE CLOSEST THING TO BEING STABBED *******467 $#*!ING TIMES IN THE CHEST AND THEN HAVING YOUR GENITALS SEARED OFF BY A LIGHTER. THE STUPID CHARACTERS JUST TALK ABOUT HOW MANY $#*! THEY CAN SUCK IN A DAY AND DONT $#*!ING TEACH MATH, AND THIS ENTIRE APP LOOKS LIKE IT'S UI AND ANIMATION WAS MADE IN A SINGLE AFTERNOON BY A FIVE YEAR OLD WHO WAS FORCED TO INGEST AN ENTIRE POUND OF COCAINE AND THEN TIED TO A CHAIR IN A ROOM FILLING WITH WATER.
DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE DIAGNOSTIC, IM GONNA GET A BRAIN ANUERISM FROM IT, AND IF I DON'T, I'LL SHOVE A PACKET OF C4 UP MY $#*! AND DETONATE IT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DIAGNOSTIC. I'M GONNA PUT THE CEO IN MY $#*!ING BASEMENT FULL OF SPIDERS, CUT ALL HIS LIMBS OFF, AND THEN ROLL HIM DOWN A HILL IN A BASKET COATED WITH RAZER BLADES. I CAN"T SLEEP AT NIGHT UNTIL THE ANIMATORS HAVE THEIR ORGANS HARVESTED AND THEN FORCE FED TO THEM THROUGH A TUBE LIKE A FOI GRAIS DUCK. $#*! YOU IREADY, YOU MADE ME GET BREAST CANCER, AND IM NOT EVEN A GIRL.
When you get a question wrong on I-ready, it screams at you and takes like an hour for you it to tell you why you got it wrong. But then sometimes it glitches, and your answer was actually correct! This one kid started hurting himself every time he got a question wrong, and would have a mental breakdown if he failed because he has to pass 4 lessons per DAYYYYYYYYYYYYY. It is so traumatizing and the lessons take up hours of your time! When people get home, and relax on the weekends, they are instead stressing about I-ready to get it done so you don't fail ela and math! I ready is soooo much of your grade it's ridiculous!
DO NOT BUY THIS IF YOU ARE A PARENT HOMESCHOOLING YOUR CHILD
L-ready is honestly so good i do two math and two reading and I spent 4 painstaking hours if you do it makes you want to jump of a bridge my friend fainted because he got a question wrong he hits himself
The fact that you have to restart the whole lesson when you fail is annoying because you already know the answers and you have to go through all of it again. My teacher make us do 45 minutes of iready every week and if we don't she gives us detenton. My school also wants us to be the best because america is one of the lowest states for education.
I CANNOT with IReady, It teaches it to us like we are 3 years old, I mean "Bake Stars"? N O
Everyone in my school hates this site and EVEN THE TEACHERS hate it, if only the school district could see this, and I have PLENTY (unhealthy) of homework to do, why make it WORSE with IReady, its
-Boring
-Dull
-Cringe (Awkward that you just want to look away)
-Made for little kids (2-8)
AND when you are about the finish the lesson, turns out, YOU ARENT DONE LIKE WHY, WHY DO THAT, WHY WOULD YOU RAISE A KIDS HOPE THEN DUMPING ON IT WITH "Ready to continue?"
AND if you fail the lesson, you have to start AAAAALLLLLL over again, DadeSchools, please, PLEASE, change our homework, Khan Academy would be great
The diagnostic is bad and adaptive tests are never ever the key i mean why just why i prefer standardized testing btw
I-Ready is a waste of time, unhealthy, hard, and also boring! I can show you or tell you why i-Ready is all those negatives things. Have you ever had a headache of doing i-Ready? Since i-Ready is hard, you can assume that i-Ready gives you a lot of headaches. Not only does i-Ready give you lots of headaches, but it gives you glasses too. Having glasses is a bad thing, not a good thing... When you stare on your computer for a long time, your eyes will get damage and that can lead to glasses. Not saying glasses don't help your eyesight... I'm saying that i-Ready causes lots and lots of damages for their long lessons! I-Ready lessons are not easy, they're harder than you think! I posted a picture under of how i-Ready will look like once you reach the last level which is level H. There's a bunch of numbers in your head! How are you suppose to cherish your memories even if you still have a lot of i-Ready stuff in your head? When you do i-Ready for a long time, you start feeling an effect and I know what the effect is because I've done i-Ready for more than 2 years! Once you do i-Ready for a long time, i-Ready starts to be the most boring educational website in the world (I mean in the whole universe!). That's all I have to say about i-Ready... Overall, i-Ready is a waste of time, unhealthy, hard, and boring! If you agree with me, than make sure not to use i-Ready that often.
The talking you put into your I-ready lessons makes it so that the lessons take longer to complete. I think you should make an option where you could listen to the talking or just read the dailogue as if it were an online book.
Actually like ban this. I swear no one gets ANY education AT ALL. I PROMISE YOU THAT HALF OF MY SCHOOL IS DEPRESSED BECAUSE OF THIS WEBSITE. ALSO I READY IS 12$ PER STUDENT. THAT's A HUGE WASTE FOR OUR PUBLIC SCHOOLS.
Not to mention that the characters are not helpful either. I had a I-ready character insult humans, saying "oh you are pretty smart for a human" and that's not ok. And not to mention I ready literally uses like this weird kun-fu Chicago backrooms technique to solve 10+10 by like saying (2^3 + 5) / (1 + 0.1*10). Like no one understands that. Like fr actually I'm sure everyone would agree on this. And if they're gonna ignore this? That's some massive issues right there. I'm sure everyone would agree. Also all I-ready tought me was that I dont wanna teach anymore or do ANYTHING that involves the word "ready" because that "website" traumatized me at this point. I have PTSD or something now because I spend over 4 hours on a lesson. Also I-ready, fix the dumb quiz thing where if you get a question wrong it takes 30 minutes to explain 1+1. Thank you!
Hello Reader,
Even though this app was produced for learning, the lessons stress me out. Sometimes it takes me around 1 ½ hours to complete the instructions, only to fail the quiz and have to redo the lessons. Instead of making the person redo the lesson they could just make them redo the questions they missed. Overall doing the quiz could stress one out because the instructions aren't that helpful, and doing the quiz not knowing what it's about is the reason one is stressed doing the lessons. Also the instructions need to be updated, to adapt to one's mind and help them actually understand the lesson. I'm saying this from 3 years of experience, the only reason I did i-ready was because my school forces upper grade to do I-ready lessons. Which is stupid, just like school districts who force students do the lessons.^-^
It's so bad, I want to give you a zero, but that's not possible. So I give you a one. It's so bad, even the teachers hate it. The only reason that we are forced to do it is because the teachers want us to be number one in the district. It's awful. The picture shown is a lesson that straight up sucks. They're easy lessons, it's just that they take between 1-2 hours to complete. 4-5 hours if you want a good grade. The other picture is the pass-to-fail ratio. It also includes the fact that you can work for hours at a time, and still barely pass any lessons. This screenshot was at the beginning of the year so I have passed more lessons. This is ridiculous. The business should be banned from all districts worldwide. It's pitiful.
This is a bad website if you get one question wrongyou get 30%countless summer hour wasted doing this garbge
This platform makes me wanna kill myself. I came here to hate on it when I'm supposed to do it...
Answer: They don't care about your education they just want money
Answer: No day is the best day this is a 0 star rating learning app
Answer: My school made me. If I become a homeschool parent, then there is no way I'm using I-ready to help teach my kid.
Answer: I can share a "success" story when it gets banned, but until then, no.
Answer: Because SOME certain schools are stupid enough to trust a random website without actually investigating if it is useless.
Answer: Because they're evil company that don't care anything and yoop groomed me
Answer: The school gets forced to make it's students to do i-ready. So in terms, we're forced.
