Many of the "contractors" on this site say they don't, nor ever have done the type of remodeling listed on the site. My company L. Phillips Investments does not, nor ever has done bathroom remodeling but Homeflock will not remove us from the site.

Tip for consumers:
I think they are fraudulent

In my opinion, Homeflock.com CEO, Gard Norden, is an unscrupulous opportunist scumbag!

The canned response from the CEO, Gary Norden, of Homeflock to complaints filed at the BBB against Homeflock is:

"Hello, Homeflock.com is a business directory that includes all public licensing and permit records to help consumers know who they are working with. Homeflock's mission is to improve marketplace trust by improving the transparency of local and national businesses. We accomplish this through open listings where both business owners and consumers can contribute unbiased descriptions of services and experiences. You are welcome to add information to a business record, however, we do not remove listings. Best regards, Homeflock Customer Service." ~ https://www.bbb.org/us/ma/newton/profile/directory-advertising/homeflock-inc-0021-*******/complaints

Well, the problem with that is, at least in my case, I don't advertise my services under my own name, and Homeflock.com doesn't even list my business name. Moreover, the degenerate that Gary Norden is, he is exposing the home addresses of contractors.

That's right, Homeflock.com, and their ignoramus CEO, Gary Norden, want to review my business, yet there is no listing for the business; instead, he has list me by my First & Last Name. Worse yet, he uses my home address as my business address.

So, in effect he is doxing people. That's pretty much the chief complaint against Gary Norden, CEO of Homeflock.com if you look at the complaints lodged against Homeflock.com at BBB. So, I know I am not alone, when it comes to Gary Norden's delusional belief that it's okay to list the home addresses of those he purports to be reviewing.

Take note, if you search for Gary Norden, within the Massachusetts Voting Records he is using PO Box *******, Wellesley Hills, MA ******* to conceal his own personal address. So, obviously, whats good for the goose is not good for the gander.

How can people trust Homeflock.com and Gary Norden, when they're too stupid to even get a business' profile correct? Quite honestly, that's all you need to know about Homeflock.com. How can you trust a bunch of knuckleheads to give you sage advice about choosing a contractor when they're so stupid they rate the individual instead of the business?

The individual is never going to be reviewed by the neighborhood's "Flock," as Homeflock.com espouses. Case in point, people don't report the owner of a business to the BBB... thy report the business. When I sat out to find a way to leave a negative review for Homeflock.com, I didn't search for Gary Norden... I search for Homeflock.com. Am I reviewing Gary Norden or am I reviewing Homeflock.com? Given that, Homeflock.com's whole business model is laughable; and all their reviews are skewed.

And then there is the 3-star rating - there may be zero reviews for a contractor, or an individual in my case, yet they still got a 3-star rating. What is their criteria for rating folks? It's not listed anywhere.

The bottom line is that if you're looking for a reputable site that reviews service providers, Gary Norden's Homeflock.com is not it... some the info dates back 7 years; I know my profile says that.

According to one of the responses Gary Norden left for a negative review of Homeflock.com, on 01/27/2020 at the BBB, their website gather's information based on an algorithm that scoops up data from other websites that share public information. At least that's how I understand it; the response is included in the next paragraph, so you can judge for yourself. Gary Norden, basically states that even if he wanted to, he could not correct the information; Gary Norden & Homeflock.com have lost control of the information at homeflock.com and they're running a dodge.

"Hello, Thank you for your inquiry. We are not able to update or remove business listings on our website, because these are cached search engine results from other sources. You will need to update the primary sources. The most common sources of *********** are **********, ****, ***** and ***************. We apologize for any inconvenience. Best regards, *********** customer service." ~

Again, that speaks volumes about the veracity of Gary Norden and Homeflock.com; how can you trust Homeflock.com, when they can't even confirm the credibility of the information they are providing?

Although the BBB does not list Homeflock as an accredited company on their website, It's no wonder the BBB gives them an "F" rating... of late Gary Norden & Homeflock.com have decided they do not need to respond to the complaints lodged against Gary Norden's Homeflock.com. Moreover, there are other complaints that are left unresolved.

The reality is, like others, I just wanted to have my personal address removed from Gary Norden's Homeflock.com; but Homeflock.com has no control over the information it's publishing... so that's not ever going to happen. Given all that... it's pretty easy to see why I gave Gary Norden's Homeflock.com a zero rating and labeled Homeflock.com and CEO, Gard Norden, as unscrupulous opportunist scumbags! Gary Norden just wants to make money off the backs of others; who he hurts in the process is of no concern to him.

For the record, I'm still waiting for a response to the BBB complaint I filed against Homeflock.com CEO, Gary Norden.

Tip for consumers:
Don't believe a word they say ... they're using an algorithm to obtain their data, and they have zero control over what gets published on their site automatically. Things that are incorrect will never be corrected. It's mostly misinformation. They have people listed that do not do what Homeflock Claims they do, business they are rating are closed, and the costs that are listed next to permits pulled by contractors are outrageous ... $50,000 dollars to test a gas line ... a $300 job!
