Wish I had read the other reviews before I ever ordered from Hobbytron. Have a RC Hercules helicopter that will not charge and for some reason I am responsible for the cost of shipping it back to them. Very unhelpful. Like other reviews I also have a very sad gift recipient. Never again
Hobbytron is a great website with great prices and items that are great quality. I have bought some airsoft stuff and had it for about a year now and nothing has stopped working or broke and I have dropped my guns quite a few times too. The guns I bought were at a really good price and they haven't lost their fire power or quality. Overall, hobbytron is a great website to purchase airsoft items from.

I love this company because it allows me to buy air-soft guns, but not only air-soft guns but RC vehicles and gear. This is a great business because they combined two genres to get more money and more interested people to buy it. I would totally recommend a friend to buy stuff from this company.
I think that hobbytron is the best store i ever heard of it got the best guns and the best toys and it got all type of guns any guns you want and most of the guns and toys are cheap and most of the gun and toys are free shipping
On a good note, my order arrived on time, and I did not have to wait long for a customer service representative, however, my problem is with the order that we placed. We used a coupon for 10% and 5000 free bb's with our order. We received the order, but no bb's. When I called and said the bb's were not with the order, she said because they said they are sold out, my son will not get his free bb's. She said the coupon states; "while supplies last". It does not say that anywhere on the coupon, also if that was the case, maybe something should have shown while we were checking out so that we knew this ahead of time. Also, I find it hard to believe that you sell airsoft equipment and are sold out of bb's (even if it is promotional). My son saved his money and spent $275.00 and they will not even honor the free bb's... and the customer service lady could have cared less, did not even try to offer any other comps for our inconvience. We had a 20% to use, but choose the lesser so he could get free bb's. I hope our return process is a little smoother than this.
Quick and simple: Like others who also reviewed this site, I regret that I placed an order with this company. I ordered an air soft gun which arrived in a reasonable amount of time, but the gun did not work from the start. The same day the inoperative gun arrived I started the process of making a return. That was just shy of a month ago and I have yet to receive any satisfaction with a new gun or a credit to my account. I have made three calls to the company, been on hold very long times, and have received three empty promises. This is taking a great deal of time and delivering plenty of frustration. Although the lady who has answered my calls seems very nice, she is merely a small cog in a dysfunctional company.

I order two weeks ago, received a receipt, but the order number appears to be invalid. My credit card was charged however,
I have tried Live Chat and got through after an hour. I was told by their representative that I would get a call back before the end of the day, but did not.
I have been trying today for hours to get someone via Live a Chat or by phone for over two hours today, with no luck. Live Chat does not answer, and after being put on hold For ten minutes, five different times, I ended up on voice mail five times. Very frustrating!
With no response from them, I plan to dispute the charges.
I will never use this company again and strongly suggest people stay away from them
Take any money you were planning on spending on their toys and give yourself papercuts with it. Then, when you're bored of that, roll up the bills, stick them up your nose and light the ends on fire. Now breathe deeply and choke on the smoke. This is less painful and wasteful than the Hobbytron experience
On the phone they were great. Nice, helpful, etc. Upon a second call in the next person I talked to gave me completely different specs on a drone. Started to worry me but I assured myself they were good to go with the 45 day policy. HOW WRONG I WAS. I called a third time to place an order. They took my info and card and placed the order. I asked for a receipt and was told no receipts can be given for phone orders just an order number. An hour later I called in to verify the order. At this time I was told about a 20% restock fee for returned orders PLUS I pay shipping and they're only accepted unopened. I'm ok with all but the 20% restock. That's $30+ out the window for nothing plus$15+ to ship back to them. I told them I wasn't aware and needed to cancel the order for an hour ago. They said no can do we never cancel orders. You'll get it in a week or so and it's yours or be penalized 20% restock. I was furious but dealt with it. Only to get one crushed item and one item the wrong color. I called in not happy but civil. They said oh you can ship the busted box back and we'll send you another. This is out of my pocket. And then was told they also don't guarantee color. What more could you ask for from a company to be label HORRIBLE! I read a few good reviews before buying but trust me there's nothing good here. All these things can be verified. Call in and ask all these things before ordering because they WILL NOT TELL YOU UPFRONT! It should be unlawful for this to be possible.
Hobby Iron refuses to allow me to give feedback although I purchased 5 air craft from them. They refuse to pay for the return shipping even for craft that never flew?
This company sucks and their customer service is awful! Do not order from them! Does not stand behind their products! Offers a 90 day warranty and than tells you to email tech support and they tell you to order a new gun! BUYER BEWARE! This company is a total waste of money and should not be in business!
Beware of the positive reviews that have "Hobbytron" in the title. They are submitted by employees of this joke of a business. Do Not do business there unless you don't mind losing your money. This place is a rip off!
I researched the product, ordered it (online), once it was removed from the box it started to fall apart. The website offeres a 30 day warranty. I contacted them by email with attached receit. This is what they sent me:

One of the worst companies to deal with. I ordered an R. C Firetruck and got a defective one. Then I got a Store Credit to use. They have no customer service. So you are never going to be able to use your credit. It is really a business which rip off money from unsuspecting consumers.

This is a horrible company. I signed up for their subscription service. The first box came late and one of the helicopters are broken. This month I just got another broken helicopter in my subscription box. I cannot believe I was fooled by good reviews. Everyone I have seen says they are nothing but trash. I am done. This is a horrible company and they are fleecing people by sending them nothing but trash. I signed up for a 6 month program and that was a huge mistake. I want out of the subscription service and I want my money back. I wasted $179.00 on nothing but broken junk.
The worst place to order from. Paid extra to get my son's Christmas present delivered and the jerks didn't even bother to put the order in until the 31. Costumer service reps more than rude unwilling to help.Don't order from them they are crooks.

Hello my name is Austin Nash ive boughten guns from Hobbytron before but never wrote a review, a purchased my G&G M4 off of there about a month ago, this a a fantastic website for anyone that is looking to get into airsoft because this website has guns, ammo, and excessories along with other hobby item like helicopters and rc cars, carrying them new, used, and refurbished, one time i had a problem with an order of bbs, the bag was ripped open half full, no questions asked they sent me another free bag, no cost to me, i absolutely love this website and plan on ordering from it many more times to come.

I ordered a remote control car for a birthday ($323). When it came in the box it was in was not damaged at all. However, when we opened it we saw that the entire car was broken. The on/off switch was missing! They have a policy that says that they keep 20% for refunds for service charges... that's $65! Anyway, we called and called and finally they picked up, only to tell us they could only talk to us when we got an RMA#. We applied for one, and it says that it takes 1-2 business days, 10 days later it still didn't come. They agree to send us a full refund but only after the RMA came in, which it didn't. I finally got through to the manager, very angry, I let a curse word slip, and she told me they do not tolerate cussing from customers and hung up. There's $323 down the drain.
I ordered 3 Striker 2.4GHz 4.5CH Camera RC Spy Drones as Christmas gifts. I opened one to inspect it. The connections to charge the battery were so flimsy, they would not hold up in use. I decided to return them. Hobbytron charges a 20% restocking fee for unopened packages and NOTHING for the one I opened although it is boxed perfectly. They do not back up their product. I am out a lot of money. Never buy from Hobbytron.com You can't afford the risk.
I finally decided to return the 2 drones that were unopened. The P. O. would not take them because of the batteries in them. So I went to UPS ground. That would have cost $40.00 for shipping. Considering my refund would have been $100.00 - %20 restocking fee for the 2 drones, I kept the entire pkg. In the meantime, I had disputed the charge with Wells Fargo Credit. They continued to work and got the charge completely removed from my credit card. I called them and gave them a huge "Thank you" to the supervisor of the person who worked on the dispute.
