Sent in husband' blackberry... NEVER received payment! This has been at least 4 years ago... just adding my disgust with this company!
I followed their instructions and sent in my mint condition iPhone 4. The website says that upon receipt of the phone, I would get my check for $75 in 2-4 business days. It's been nearly three weeks and they aren't responding to e-mails and don't have a working telephone number. DO NOT SEND YOUR PHONE TO THEM UNLESS YOU LIKE GIVING AWAY THINGS FOR FREE.
So I sent in my mint condition white iPhone4 over a month ago and I have yet to hear ANYTHING back.
They said it would only take a few days for my phone to be reviewed and for them to send me my payment but that was such a lie! They don't provide a contact number and won't respond to my tickets or emails... they flat out stole my iPhone!
DO NOT SELL THEM YOUR PHONE, THEY ARE THIEVES!
Totem is a place where you can sell your used smart phones and ipads for a very good price. When I ran into a small problem the owner of the company went out of his way to solve it. I would recomend

NOT A SCAM. I worked for these guys and the truth is most people would send in like old blackberrys and say that they sent in Iphone 4s. I don't know if people know this but there are people out there who aren't completely honest if they think they can get money for it. These guys are great and the idea is great. Liars are trying to put this company out of business.
Hello Totem is a GREAT company, They care about they're customers! I would highly recommend them to others! Totem offered me more for my cell phone then any company & it was broken & they still paid top dollars for it! I am one satisfied customer & I will be using them in the future!
Bestbuy offered me a measly $200 for my ipad. I was so happy to find that totem offered me DOUBLE what best buy was offering. Not to mention they were so much more friendly and helpful! I got my check even quicker than they quoted. I LOVE totem! I will most definitely be selling them my next phone and/or tablet.
I had a couple used blackberries sitting in a drawer... figured I'd rather have cash than let them collect dust.
I tried to sell these on eBay but dealt with nonpaying buyers on each one. Figured I'd give Totem a shot to just get paid, and it worked really well! Got a great deal with NONE of the headaches. Give them a shot you won't be disappointed.

If you have old cell phones that you would like to sell for a good price then this the place. They even buy cell phones that don't work or may be damaged. Their offers obviously go on the condition the phone is in and how old the model is. Even for a phone that was 4 or 5 years old they still gave me more than any other place I got an offer from. A newer model I got almost the same amount I paid for it! Great site! They send you a postage paid box for u to send it back to them in. Just make sure you send it back within the 30 days of their offer or their offer goes down. Also make sure u wipe it clean of any data u may have in it before u send it out, because this they do not do when they receive them. But they paid more than any other place I've dealt with before and the check arrived only 10 days after I mailed out the phone. Great site!

A friend told me about hellototem.com. At first I didn't believe him but I gave it a shot. It was just like he said, a box shows up, you put your phone in it, and then a check shows up. I didn't know you could do this! I actually was due for an upgrade so I got the iPhone 5. I sent Totem my iPhone 4S and I got back enough to cover my upgrade. Pretty cool. I wish I knew about this before! Haha

Sent some phones into HelloTotem.com about a week ago. Two days after they had been delivered to them I received an email saying they were not sent as described even though they clearly were. I had two iPhone 4S cell phones on AT&T. I ended up calling them and demanded my two devices back. After repeating myself over ten times on the phone demanding the phones back they finally came in the mail a few days later.
As a result, I was still stuck with the same problem. I had two perfectly working iPhone's that needed new users and I still needed some extra cash. I came across American Buy Back (AmericanBuyBack.com) who also buys cell phones and electronics like HelloTotem. They paid be $240 a piece for my iPhones which was more than HelloTotem even offered me in the first place. All I had to do was select the phones on their website, print out their free shipping label, and send them. I was paid via PayPal less than 3 days later for them. In the end, HelloTotem lost a customer here but I'm glad I found American Buy Back.
