I signed up for the Harry's plan to get the free razor. I absolutely love the blades and the shaving cream gel. I have to shave my disabled son and it makes it so much easier! I was also excited to see the products at Walmart. YAY!
The service is convenient, and I like that you can change your order before it is sent. The shaves are fine, and the price is better than buying blades locally. What I don't like is the trimmer on the reverse side of the shaving head. Does not do a good job and I often have to resort to using a trim blade of another company for that part of the shave. If this is not improved, I will probably give up on Harry's blades. Small thing, but I miss the color change that some companies' blades have as the blades become used.
I love the consistency. Harry's razors are the right tool for the job each day...
Unlike, the 100 character minimum limit on this review site my relationship with Harry's is much more simple.
High quality razors when you need them at a reasonable cost. Not much more to say than that.
Like the notifications of when the next shipment of blades will arrive and the option to delay it if you do not need new blades yet.

I use these razors weekly to shave my head and face. I love the way I can easily edit my delivery without calling its all online! Since I don't have heavy beard growth changing things helps me out a lot. And when I order I get my items with ease and I love the new surprise me for $5! I hadn't used anything but an electric razor for over 40 years. Tried Harry's Razors and I would never go back to anything else. And the contact I've had with customer service has been wonderfully responsive.
A decent product, made by people who are NOT trying to price gouge. I get new blades automatically every month, and can add other items (such as shaving cream) on to any order.
I was a Dollar Shave Club subscriber. I called them wanting to double my order but only have one debit from my checking account per month. DSC was unable to do this. They told me I could have one order or two, but not two on one account only charged once per month. Harry's isn't only capable of this, but when I noticed my stockpile of blades was getting rather large, I was able to cut my shipment from once per month to once every other month. We'll probably leave it this way for a year or so, until our reserve is small again. I like feeling like the customer again.
I am older guy who found Harry's when it just began. I have been a loyal customer ever since. Better quality and far better pricing than Gillette, Shick or any others that i have used for 50-years.

Many times I shelled out big coin to the big monopoly players every time I needed new blades. What made me say enough? After getting a blade here and there that only lasted two shaves. I really feel this is common practice for profit... So Enough! I went to Harry's a couple years ago. Love the convenience of spending less and having them delivered to my door. Recently I grew a beard and changed my delivery intervals. Piece a cake. I highly recommend. These are Top Quality Blades.

Answer: Great question, Tony! Blade lifespan will definitely vary a bit based on your particular hair type, shave schedule, and blade care habits. While there's no exact standard for how long a cartridge will last you, we find that the average person likes to replace blades every 6-8 shaves. The idea is that our blades are durable and will last a long time, at a great price.
Answer: The new blades are not as smooth as the old ones and you cannot buy the old ones anymore.
Answer: Absolutely! There are lots of women who use our razors so we'd definitely encourage you to give them a try.
Answer: I had a problem with that when I first got them and found out that I wasn't pusing them on the handle far enough. Also if you hold too close to the blade and choke up on the handle too much your fingers tend to push the blades off. When I held back further on the handles... no worries. Since I changed those two things, I don't have that problem.
Answer: Because when they changed the design of the blade by adding the trimmer, the blade lost its smooth shaving quality, life of the blade and no burn feeling. Now it burns after the shave, blade does not last that long and all you are left with is a cheap blade. If they bring back there 1st generation blades back, I will be the first one to buy them and give back my business to Harry's for LIFE!
