Approx. 3 weeks ago, I purchased a sword off hanzoswords.com (O-ren Ishii shirasaya). The sword arrived a week later. As I opened the parcel I could see that Canada Post had damaged the sword beyond repair. The entire box was ripped to pieces, and the sword was completely destroyed (Blade was in perfect shape) everything else was destroyed.
I immediately contacted Jennifer Sheahan (owner of the business) and explained to her what had happened to the sword that I ordered. She responded to me almost immediately and was just as in shock as I was. She offered to send me a replacement out right away. At this time I decided to place an order for the Bride sword, I explained the Jennifer that I would like them shipped together, she explained that it wouldn't be a problem, and charged no extra cost.
Fast forward 2 weeks, both swords arrived in what I could only describe, as bullet proof packaging. The box was extremely thick, and both swords were well wrapped in an insane amount of packaging. As I opened the package I could see that my new Shirasaya was in there, along side the bride sword that I had ordered. I inspected both carefully and I must say that the quality of the swords are phenomenal for the price that they are charging, it was almost unbelievable.
I will continue to spread the good word about this business, and possibly purchase more in the future.

I made an order for their Kill Bill Demon Katana on October 4,2014 and received it on Tuesday October 7. Literally a 3 days shipping. I have to say though, after reading the stuff on this site and searching up "hanzoswords reviews" I was very worry about how my sword would turns out.
And what do you know, it was an extremely beautiful sword. 1060 steel, razor sharp, and all the details from the Kill Bill movie. When I was still skeptical on Monday I called the store and ask to make sure everything was alright. I even asked about the returns policy and she was happily helping me with every details. But forget the return policy, I am keeping this sword because it is out of my expectation. For a 1060 sword I got it for a very good deal. I had fun in the backyard. I later asked the owner about the bad reviews, and she told me that the company changed owner during mid September, 2014 and she is now the new owner. So the mayhem that had happened was caused by the previous owner.
Anyways, give hanzoswords a second chance. I'm doing this honest review because I believe the new owner is very honest and hard working. And the product and service I received was far from what negativity people said in the past.
I've called 3 times, no call back. I am trying to find out the status of my order. I paid extra for expedited shipping.
I received my order today! The Kill Bill Demond katana, 2 of the "Soul of the Samurai Musashi" along with 2 Trench Raider Sprind Assist knife. I have spent hours on the Internet and seen almost every site and after several days later I made my first ever order with www.hanzoswords.com. I was worried for a short time until I was contacted by the Owner of the site. Let me tell you I was amazed at the care, professionalism and ease that I felt. I am ecstatic at the products i recieved and am already eyeballing my next order. Dont hesitate and give them a try. I am glad I did!
I am writing now, because I didn't saw this website before. Years ago I have bought two katana, kill bill repros, 1 signed by madsen, 1 by carradine. Due to the type of items and what was writren on website I expected them with Certificates of Authenticity (CoA) and wall stand (agreed with the PO). Once arrived in Italy (with very long delay and crazy custom clearances), i found they were into an anonimous package, wrapped in chinese newspapers, without a receipt and without the CoAs. I wrote them several times, also proposing to pay an extra amount. I got an answer after long time, saying "we will ship them", but then they disappeared. I tried to write againg and againg, for months, no answers. I reached them on facebook, and after some comments I was blocked. What should have i to think? Why they were not ready to give what was due? If they don't give a CoA for a signed item it is difficult to think the deal as trasparent. I have saved all the emails exchange, as well the paypal receipt and custom docs, as a track, but after years I am still waiting for my CoAs. Bad deal
