Now I do not expect these to appeal to everyone. But if you are an aesthetic who feels high regard for refined and precious bibelot, I have no doubt that you have several of these little "bonbons" amongst your collectibles.

Each piece is hand painted by a single hair paint brush... and each scene is of exquisite detail.

I bought mine in Bermuda... acquiring them was easy and pleasant. My saleswoman was a Mrs. Virtue at Trimingham's right there on Front Street.

After I checked availability of a few items with them, I went back to my authorized dealer in New York and asked them to order these boxes for me but they told me that it will take over a month to get them and when I ask why, they told me that Halcyon days give priority to their UK customers over USA customers so I had to wait until they do not sell the ones they had or make me new ones, this is a disgusting discriminatory policy against USA customers, I will never, ever but their boxes and am selling all my collection on eBay. So long Halcyon days boxes.
