I recently purchased a SantaMedical oximeter. There was a card enclosed which promised a 4 port charger if I wrote a review. The purchase number is **************412. Here is my review.
Users look for two things with such a purchase: accuracy and reliability. I cannot speak to reliability because reliability requires the passage of enough time to assure the absence of defects. I can, however, speak to accuracy and your oximeter is decidedly sub-par. I have a significant breathing issue ( hence the need for an oximeter) as well as A-Fib. I use a blood pressure cuff daily which also measures heart rate, and I have an EKG phone app which also measures heart rate. I am currently in A-Fib and the app shows my heart rate today at 97 (my normal resting rate is in the 60s) a result which the cuff generally confirms. Your oximeter says my heart rate is in the 50s.In the two weeks since I purchased it the readings have been all over the map. I have nothing to compare the oxygen readings to except my experience, and I sure hope they are more accurate than the pulse readings.
A one-star rating is generous. Please send the charger. I have earned it.
Just got it in. Seems easy enough to use. Hope it holds up. I have nothing else to say about it at this time.
