Worst camping experience ever very rude staff, disgusting toilet and shower area. After booking to stay for 2 nights we were told on the second day we had to move by a very rude man who looked as if he was patrolling the grounds in a white van with a little dog, when we asked him why we have to move we were told that the space was already booked, even tho we had booked 2 days earlier and had been put there by Grendon Lakes staff, the ignorant rude man then told us thats just how it is if we dont like it leave. As angry as i was i decided to comply and move as I did not want to ruin the experience for my children, we packed up and moved out of the way and finished our experience, but after leaving and coming home, I woke to find an incinerator and three bags of rubbish that i recognised from the campsite dumped on my doorstep. I've camped at Grendon a few times before over the years but will never set foot on your grounds again and wouldnt advise anybody else too, i'm not a person to blame racism but can only assume that we were treated so badly due to the colour of our skin as nobody else was treated in the same manner. I would also like to add that we kept out of the way did not bother anybody did not make any noise and did not even complain, but was given no apology, and even no offer of help to move, nothing to compensate but as i said, Grendon Lakes staff come out of there way to dump rubbish on my doordstep. When i finally did got response from the manager she was very rude, basically told me i was lying and told me she would be glad if i did'nt set foot on the grounds again. Maybe Grendon Lakes could shed some light as to why we were treated so badly.
