I missed buying my beautiful cards last year from Greeting Card Universe. Time got away from me and I forgot to order. I ended up paying 4X as much for my cards, they were not as beautiful and they were not personalized!:-(

I found this site by accident while looking for nurses day cards online. I live in a small community where my options are limited. Plus I don't like paying 5-6 dollars a card from stores. This site had a number of nurses day cards and I picked the one I wanted and was pleased to find you could edit the wording, add a picture and make it very personal instead of generic. I bought it and added two birthday cards which I also personalized. The cards were under $3 each, and of good quality card stock with an envelope. I will be using this site again. It saved me a lot of time trying to make my own from a print program.

I was kind of worried to order from here considering some of the bad reviews, but I'm super happy I did. The card was exactly how it looked online and their customer service was really nice. There was a delay (due to my mail carrier) and they replied to my email super fast offering to resend the card for free.

I'd totally recommend them. :)

This is the first and last time I will be ordering from greeting card universe. I just received the greeting cards today and there are 3 things wrong with them.

1. On the front of the card, one of the pictures is much darker than it was on the preview page. You can say it's just my computer screen but how does that explain how the other 3 photos on the front look fine/exactly how I ordered them?

2. There is a huge white gap between 2 of the photos! I spent hours working on this card and now it just looks sloppy.

3. Two of the words on the inside of the card are way too close together. Also not shown on my preview page. The words "an" and "unforgettable" are mushed together so it looks like anunforgettable.

I usually order from zazzle, but thought I would give this a try because of the templates offered for photos. Huge mistake. $49 down the drain. I cannot send these to my friends and family. About two bucks per card and they are all going in the trash.

After reading reviews and calling *Target to verify the in-store pick-up option, I had my doubts about this.
But I decided to try it using a discount code offered on the web page of the card company. After proceeding, near the end I think, Google offered a guarantee for this vendor through an affiliation between Google and Greetingcarduniverse.com.
What did I have to lose- $3.98. So I clicked and ordered.
Within 2 hours I had an email from GCU saying the order was ready. I called the Target store I designated and indeed, my order was ready.
Picked up the cards the next day. They are just as described and actually better. The paper weight is like cards found at a card shop. The printing is great. I am very pleased.
*A side note, before I ordered, I called two of the Target stores listed in my area. Neither one knew what I was talking about, even the manager at one store did not know. But regardless, the process worked and the product is outstanding!

I ordered three cards from them this morning. Although I normally have the cards mailed to me, this time I decided to explore the experience of having them printed at a nearby Target store. I placed the order and waited for a response from Target letting me know they were ready to be picked up. I waited all day and no call or email from Target. I called the photo lab at Target and they claimed to have not received the order. I sent an email to Greeting Card Universe and they called me back. Very quick response so I was very positive this was going to be resolved. The gentleman claimed the order had been cancelled by Target. He told me that I could have the order sent to another Target to be printed. He did not recommend this since the printed cards are of lesser quality. He recommended having them mailed to me. I told him I didn't want to do that since the shipping costs were too high for this order. Did he offer free or discounted shipping because of the error? NO. He told me to order five cards to get a discount. They screwed up my order and wanted me to order more to get a discount. I told him to cancel the order and this was the last time he would hear from me. Great cards, great prices, but lousy customer service.

I previously wrote a scathing review of this company. After it was published, Shaun e-mailed me again, looked back at the records, saw the correct name had indeed been entered by me. He has promised me that he will have the real-deal card to me by Monday! The only reason I did not give them five stars is that it would have been nice if he had had access to my problem as he talked to me the first time. It would have saved me--and him--so much stress. Thanks, Shaun, for having the interest to pursue this matter to this fortunate end.
