Great product. I ordered too much however, and they were not very clear in how to let me know how much I would need. "It covers 100 linear feet" is not a measurement that anyone in the U.S. uses much. I'll be sending some of it back and now I have to pay for the shipping on that. But, it was still cheaper than buying on Amazon.
I did not get all the samples. Missing one. I really haven't followed up with them yet, but they've sent several emails and they did answer 1 of my questions. The product is good quality. I'm looking at mamoleum.

I contacted them about this and received a vague, general reply. When I asked more specific questions I received no further response. I tried two different people at the company with the same results. As a result I don't trust this company and I wouldn't buy anything from them without doing my own research

As an Eagle Boy Scout, I've been concerned about the environment most of my life and was recycling aluminum soda cans at my high school on the First Earth Day, April 1970. Consider these products before you buy, and they are worth paying a little more than regular products. The regular products are cheaper because of synthetic materials made out of petroleum which I learned while working at SUNOCO one summer during college on an oil tanker.
Just used this to finish the wood paneling in a bedroom. It was wonderful to apply, low drippage, beautiful finished result when dry. We used Gloss as a first coat first, then Matte (per their instructions - I usually put matte under gloss, but following their recommendation on this, and it seemed towork well). Sanded lightly with 600 grit inbetween coats. Is IS quite odorous to apply, but dries quickly and the odor seems to dissipate fairly quickly. Overall very happy with this product, and delighted to have found it! Will definitely be ordering more for the rest of the house.

I'm allergic to fragrance and preservatives which makes it extremely difficult for me to find products I can use on my skin. The Safe Choice shampoo and body wash was an amazing find. I'm so glad I can easily order this product online. Plus it doesn't dry out my skin like the other (few) products I can use. I will continue purchasing this product and would recommend it to others. The packaging on my item was great. It was completely sealed and not a drop spilled during shipping. I only hope that all of the packaging peanuts are recyclable.
I tried to get the same cork flooring from companies in California and Washington but could not get a sample on a timely basis or service that I could trust. This came quickly, efficiently, and safely to my home. Very good service.
Naturally I didn't bother to figure out I was going to wind up 10" short on my skylight tube. Thankfully greenbuildingsupply.com was there to save the project. Had a 12" section of tubing that fit so nicely I didn't even have to trim any excess. Thanks for being there.
I ordered 260 square feet of maroleum tiles in 3 colors for my kitchen reno. I had spoken to two customer service representatives and spent loads of time on the website. Nowhere in the small print did I see that they automatically round up your order to include full boxes only. This is surprising, considering they say that each order is a "custom order." Because I had three colors, I ended up with 380 ft.² of material. Not only was this a huge waste of money, but for a company that claims to be "green," the manufacturing and distribution of such excess is unconscionable. Such waste! Secondly, their shipping was supposed to be 12 days and ended up being three weeks. When I contacted the company after two weeks, they were not helpful. Then, after waiting three weeks, I got a robo-voice message the night before delivery, stating that I had to be home to sign for the delivery…with only about 16 hours notice! So I had to take the day off of work. I've never experienced this with any other delivery service. The shipping was SO expensive ($367!) - for what? It's 7 small boxes. Amazon delivers similar-sized items for free. Honestly, the whole thing feels like a rip off. Never again.

Came on time and worked great! I will be using again. Love how safe it is for my family. I put 5 coats of their lacquer alternative from Safe Coat on our reclaimed island top. Before putting on the Safe Coat it was rough and hard to clean. We wanted to see the character of the wood but still usable. I didn't explain what I was wanting very well to the person I had building it. We loved the look and color but wanted a smoother surface. A lot of polys and other sealers with give a redish tint that I did not want. I'm so glad we found Safe Coat lacquer alternative. It is clear and smooth. I used a brush for application and we love how it turned out and how smooth it is.

In a small Iowa town, it was almost impossible to find products locally that satisfied our craving for natural beauty. Also in 1991 there was no internet, very few magazines, and scant interest in green building products.
We traveled around the US to locate beautiful natural products. Getting reliable information about the content of various products was the most challenging task; as at the time few manufacturers knew what would trigger chemical sensitivity in their products, or the impact their products would have on the health of the home owner and the environment.
Eventually we put all the pieces together and as natural healthy homes came into demand we were inspired to create a store to make these products easily available to others. Our first customers were our friends, many of them out of state, and some of them chemically sensitive. So far, we've helped thousands of people create new healthy homes, and we are educating more and more every day.
