Walked in to Great Clips in Menlo Park, Sharon Heights to get a blowout. Joseph did exactly what I wanted! He asked me if he could use some products on my hair-and I said yes! Will return again! Thank you Joseph fir making my hair look perfectly beautiful!
Walked in after work. Was greeted by a lone stylist. I showed her what I wanted. I have hair to the middle of my back and was wanting my fringe cut and tapered into the sides. I EVEN SHOWED HER A PICTURE! I thought it looked a bit questionable when I left but I realize bangs have to grow a bit to look right. I woke up today and realized this woman has butchered my hair! It has uneven areas all into the sides. No blending. I am so upset! I KNOW it will grow back but I am going to have to spray it down to get it halfway decent!. Stay away from Samantha!
BEWARE: I had a horrible experience at a Great Clips and cooperate did nothing:
1) They had a mask mandate but didn't care if people wore their masks
2) They didn't care when I pointed out their double standard when making me wear a mask while 3 others didn't
3) They called the police and Laura Goodwin lied to them saying "I refused to wear a mask"
4) They tried to make me leave despite my son still getting a haircut
5) when I tried to apologize for getting upset with a gift and a letter, they called the police to put the gift and letter into evidence
No customers in the store and 4 stylists standing around and the wait time was 60 minutes. Lakeforest Marketplace in McKinney. This has happened before at this location. I'll never go back.
I have been almost exclusively going to Great Clips the past seventeen years, greatly enjoying the company's low prices.
On February 23,2017, at approximately 9:25 a.m., I arrived at the company's 342 South Twin Oaks Valley RD, San Marcos, CA *******, establishment for a haircut. Employee M. Checked me in. At approximately 10:00 a.m., as another checked-in customer and I waited, Employee K. Checked-in, animatedly spoke to, and focused on a customer on a first name basis. However, as my turn was next, Employee K. Focused on her acquaintance, disregarded my name on her monitor, and invited her acquaintance to her chair, "You can go next, he [I] doesn't mind". K did not asked if I minded or not minded. The acquaintance asked, "Are you sure?". K replied, "Go ahead". Tactfully, I did not mention that I was next. However, as a result of K's preferential treatment for a late check-in customer, I waited an additional ten minutes while the customer behind me waited an additional 20 minutes. Reflecting on K's behavior, I find that K's blatant preferential treatment for an acquaintance over two earlier checked-in customers is highly unfair and not businesslike.
On the same day, February 23,2017, I faxed Great Clips Corporate and asked "What can be done so that [Employee] Kxx does not repeat her favoritism toward one customer over other customers who had checked-in before her favorite customer?" No response from the company. On March 6,2017, I re-faxed Great Clips Corporate and repeated my question. As of today, no response from the company.
I asked them not to cut my hair on the top of my head and the first thing they did was cut the hair on the top of my head they don't listen to what you want bad service don't go.
The hair cut which I got was not up to the mark. I asked for trimming my hair and getting layers. She just trimmed my hair. The person who trimmed my hair was not very knowledgeable.
I have my great clips app my estimate time to be attended was 30 min i was there 10 min before i been waiting for 30 min that means my total time to be attended was 50
This place disappoint me
Come to great clips on colemans crossing if you want a baldspot by some red haired chick who seems like she has no experience what so ever
They lost my family as customers. They are requiring people to wear mask even if they fall into a ctegory not required to wear a mask. They kill commerce and there company will suffer.
I am glad that Jane at Great Clips Meadowvale Village cut my hair. This was a perfect hair cut. She was very professional. I am hoping she will cut my hair next time.

I always wait on Cindy Mota at Hanover Center Great Clips in Wilmington NC to cut my hair. She takes pride in her work and makes sure you are satisfied with your haircut before leaving the salon.
I called customer service about my horrible visit at the Greatclips in Durham NC South Square Shopping Center and I still haven't heard back from the franchise owner. Wow!
Went to great clips in LA worst haircut of my life I dont recomend it they cannot do boys haircut they were not able to keep the hair straight and cannot fade it at all.
Went in to get a haircut for myself and my daughter around 5pm on a Friday. I seen how attentive Leslie was with a senior white gentleman whom she catered to and they were talking about the state of affairs of our country. Leslie proceeded to tell me she couldn't cut my daughters hair for two reasons 1) she was wearing a hoodie and 2) her hair was matted "like dreads" she states. I don't know why I allowed her to cut my hair but I did and gave her a $7 tip on top of that when my daughter told me she didn't even take 2 mins cutting your hair. She then told me did you see how much time she spent saying she couldn't cut my hair and how many times she said "if you do return you will have to detangle her hair because I can't cut it". Then I recall how hairdresser told me "it took her 8 hours to take off dreads" and she mentioned "black hair". I am white and so is my daughter I'm actually Italian her father is not black, African American or nothing of the sort. I did not recognize it because I've never experienced RACISM but now thanks to Leslie my daughter and I have, its disgusting and great clips as a national chain should do more to educate their uneducated staff. I cannot add proof of purchase I paid cash and provided a nice tip. Hope your cameras are working because if not staff is also stealing your $$$.

Scheduled two haircuts one for myself and my daughter.
I went to the Plant City Great Clips March 13 to get my hair cut for Wigs for Kids. I asked the stylist, I do not remember her name but she had short red hair and worked at the first seat on the left side, to cut 12 inches off. She went and got a ruler to show me how much she was going to cut. She measured the 12 inches and showed me how much it was. Then she put my hair in a ponytail and cut my hair with the clippers. She finished my haircut and I said it looks like more than 12 inches. She showed me the ponytail of hair and halfway measured it saying it was 18 inches. I was upset. When I got home I measured the ponytail she gave me and it was 22 inches. I was really upset. It takes a long time to grow 10 inches of hair. I am in shock and can't believe she did that to me. I am a licensed Cosmetologist and I would never do this to someone. I used to work at Great Clips in Valrico. If I did do something like this I would definitely expect to be reprimanded or fired. I am so dissatisfied and disappointed with this situation. I know my hair will grow, but it will take 2 years for the 10 inches to grow back. That is a long time to get the results I wanted. I believe it is completely reasonable for me to be upset.
I went into the Kercheval location this morning to get a haircut, I was very specific about what I wanted. I have a massive cowlick at the crown of my head that needs to be left longer, i explained that to her and told her she could leave the weight line in order to leave that area longer. As she is finishing my hair cut she says "and there's no weight line" she wasn't even going to show me the back of my hair until I started running my finger through it, only then did she offer me the mirror, she spun me around and what I saw made me very unhappy, I told her that I would have like the crown left longer, that now my cowlick was going to stick up. Her response "I only took a 1/2 and inch" she took a heck of a lot more than a 1/2 an inch, this girl didn't listen to me at all. She just gave me the haircut she wanted to give me, with absolutely no regard for what I wanted at all. Now I'll have to let my hair grow for 3 months in order for it to be long enough to be cut to the style I asked for to begin with. This isn't the first time I'd had issues with great clips, but it will be the last.
They messed me up, I ask for a trim so take 2 and a half inches off is not a trim at my hair length. Dont go unless you want the worst cut.
Tip for consumers:
Dont go

Adriane did a fantastic job cutting my hair! Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a sharp haircut.
I checked in to get my daughter hair cut. I had 2 pple, myself and her checked in but the lady told me she didnt see it and they wouldnt have time for one of us. As i waited inside as my 6 yr old was in the chair. I stood next to the enterance, pulled my mask down to itch my nose and the lady jumped at me saying, put ur mask on to be in this building. I was more than 6feet away. My daughters hair cut was uneven in the back and i was very unhappy with the over experience. We have been to great clips many times. They were busy, one 1 customer at a time, but i wont go back. Im sorry i threw away my reciete due to the unpleasent experience and i dnt usualy do reviews.
Onalaska, wisconsin at the crossing medows shopping area is the location
I hate you and i hope you go out of business and that girl needs to be fired she is like 70 something and ugly
Did not follow how I wanted hair cut. How can you correct a hair style when they have already F'd it up.
Hair is all uneven, the stylist need to go back to training. Very upset with cut and afraid to go back for repair
I asked for layers and now am missing chunks of hair! Looks like she cut it with a butter knife! Would not recommend!
Extremely disappointed with the employee's who work at 7740 Brandt Pike
Huber Heights, OH *******. At this Great Clips there have been 3 separate occasions where I've been mistreated.
On the 21st of June, I showed up at 8:55am and was the 2nd customer to show up. They open at 9:00AM but the employees showed up late and were not set up till 9:10. There were 2 people that had checked in online AFTER 9:00, and they were served before I was. I had an appointment and wound up having to leave.
Today, on 8/7/16 I checked in online at 4:32. I arrived onsite at 4:44 but had forgotten a receipt with the $7.99. I called my wife and she sent me a picture via text. I asked if that would be sufficient and the lady I spoke to was rude and said it would not. The only reason she gave was because she needed to staple that receipt to the new one. I stated that I would go grab my receipt and was told I had 15min at 4:45. I returned at exactly 5:00PM and the door was still open with customers. I was denied service and was very irritated because I had checked in 30min prior and had actually showed up 15min before closing. Both times (at 5:45 and 5) there were no other customers in the que and there were at least 2 separate hairdressers available.
I'm strongly considering never going to another greatclips again and writing up some reviews of my bad experiences. In my experience these employees were slow, rude, lazy, and very unprofessional.
She did not know what she was doing, needs more schooling. Very bad cut did not know how to use a curling rod. PLEASE help this girl
