I love goodgoth! I'm hooked on the deal of the day and the mystery bags. My last mystery bag had a $70 dress in it and I got it for $14.95!
I ordered a dress may9th for a wedding the web site says if there is a ship date you need it by let us know and we will try to work with you. I stated when I ordered the dress i needed it by june4th if this was a problem to please contact me. By the 14th it struck me i didn't get tracking or any contact about the dress so i contacted them. I was told the dress was out of stock and was coming in the 24th. I asked if i would get my dress by june 9th (thats when i really needed it) as i asked when I placed my order and was told i don't know. I cant guarantee when you will get it. I said well seeing as how im in canada that doesnt seem like enough time why was I not contacted? I was not given a answer only asked if i wanted to change my order. She then told me she thought it was enough time they ship to canada all the time. If i did need it by the 4th thats 10 days to ship it to me from the states to cananda via usa postal service.
Very poor customer service at no time was i contacted about the out of stock no apologies. No one mentioned I might not get it by the date requested or asked what id like to do. I got a very who cares attitude from someone named mare.
My daughter and I ordered a beautiful corset outfit for her prom along with a size shoe she always wears, size 10. The WRONG size corset outfit was sent, and the shoes didn't fit ===since that has never been a problem, I see it as their shoe sizes being off. They sent a new corset outfit out but the shoe situation took forever to "fix". FINALLY after a lot of bantering back and forth to a nameless person, nobody communicates with a name, very unprofessional, they actually refunded the whole order. That was VERY nice. Here's the kicker. We actually (unfortunately) decided to attempt to order a different pair of shoes -- Lace Toe Peep size 11 -- thought we would try a size up thinking they would actually fit, too big, we sent them back --IN A BETTER PACKAGE THAN THEY SENT US---. GOODGOTH, claimed we sent them back in poor shape and they "had substantial wear and tare". MY DAUGHTER SIMPLY TRIED THEM ON, DIDN'T FIT, PUT THEM BACK IN THE BOX (BTW: it was originally sent to us in a bashed in box, poor shape! AND they say if we send a box back in that shape we will be charged $5! What a joke!) So, they REFUSED to exchange for what we were going to try to do, see if the size 10 in this shoe style fit. I think they just didn't want to bother to deal with us again... very unprofessional and terrible experience for me. I will never shop with this business again. My lesson learned here is to look over every inch of a product I buy before anything transpires and if it is not sent to me in perfect shape to contact the company right away ****SILLY ME FOR EXPECTING THE SOLES OF THESE SHOES TO ARRIVE TO ME IN NEW SHAPE*** because I didn't inspect them I am being blamed for the damage! What a crock! NEVER again with this poor excuse for a company.

This is likely due to the overwhelming number ofcomplaints for poor quality merchandise and failing to meet their orders deadlines. If you read their return policy you will see they are aware they are selling garbage and expect you to be dissatisfied. Therefore they make every effort to discourage you from being able to reach them.
