Good dog matched me up with several breeders of the type of dog I was interested in. For protection all communication with the chosen breeder was through good dog and payments were through good dog app. Good dog has their standards that breeders must comply to so there is little chance to be a victim of a puppy scam. The breeder I chose was awesome, I was very pleased with her and I got the cutest and best Pug puppy ever.
Prospective pet owners would benefit from contact with Good Dog to find their way through the complications with new pet ownership. All questions asked are important and fully answered, with patience knowledge, and experience. I am so relieved that I had a conversation with Good Dog and with Paul.

I bought a puppy from a breeder on their site. According to both the breeder and GoodDog, the puppy should arrive vaccinated, vet checked, and in good health. My puppy had never had any vert care at 3 months old. Had Giardia, kennel cough, and a major ear infection. My vet said another couple of days and he would have died. The breeder said I was getting the puppy like this because I got him on sale.
I sent Good Dog all the text screenshots as well as my vet bills and notes and they did facilitate a refund, however, despite my request to have the issues and receipts sent to their compliance department, almost a month later, the breeder is STILL on GoodDog selling puppies, even puppies from the SAME litter despite being negligent.
There seems to be zero moral responsibility here as GoodDog makes money off each sale.
Maybe they used to be reputable, but certainly not now.

I find a lot of great buyers through gooddog.com that is they find me. I am a breeder and I love that I can list the testing reports and pictures of my dogs and anyone with an account can look it up. This offers the kind of transparency that is needed in the dog breeding/buying process. They also have resources for both breeder and buyer to improve their processes and outcomes. I love the webinars and testing lists by breed. If you want a really good dog you should start your search there!

Finding Good Dog was a gift. I felt confident that the Breeders were being held to a high standard. I also felt more confident and safer in the process knowing a reliable Company had my back in the event I needed assistance.
I picked up our miniature Springerdoodle puppy 2 days ago. Heather, his breeder, was very friendly and answered all of my questions and encouraged me to contact her with any others that came up. She had also been very good at answering my pre-pickup questions. Our puppy is an absolute gem - - didn't make a sound on his 2 flights home, & has adapted to his new life very well. After 1st checkup yesterday, his vet said he was socially very healthy as well as physically. I would definitely recommend using GoodDog as the first point in searching for a new dog.
Gooddog use to be a great site to find breeders but now they are requiring everyone put their credit card information in and set up payment schedule in order to secure a puppy with a breeder and that is scary! I do not like my information online and I should be allowed as a buyer to set up pickup with breeder and pay with cash so my credit card information isn't floating around online. Gooddog, this is completely ridiculous! Since when is it forbidden to pay with cash?! C'mon now! You're starting to be no better than these other websites you find puppies on and hope and pray you don't fall victim! DO BETTER!

Breeders are in total control of when they choose to request deposit and puppy payments.

I had a wonderful experience with Good Dog. I was able to find my awesome breeder and as a result have brought home my dream puppy. I like the fact that the financial transaction is done through the app. I think that is a plus for breeder and seller.
I contacted so many breeders and my whole experience was horrible. Only one breeder bothered to contact me and they flat out lied to me and not to mention they had me thinking they had puppies and then no puppies. Of course now they don't respond at all. I will let all my friends and family know what an racket they run!

Good Dog is 100% legit. I used Good Dog to buy a Golden Retriever puppy through a breeder. I had a very positive experience. Good Dog helped me find a breeder with an available litter, helped me decide which transportation option was best, and they were so helpful throughout the entire process whenever I had questions.
I was able to process applications and find the perfect home for my litter. The good dog took all the guess work out of the process. The applicants can read about you and your litter and decide to apply. I placed 2/3 of my puppies through this app and the staff always reached out to see if I needed any help.

Good Dog made the process of finding a breeder that went beyond the AKC standards. Also, it helped me find the breeder close to where I lived. I did not want to go out of state.
The communication through Good Dog and the breeder was excellent. I feel I found the best puppy for me and my husband that will excel due to the special socialization and enrichment process. Also, I wanted a breeder who did OFA and DNA testing on the parents.
I used to like good dog. Then they gave me a "random" audit. I am assuming brought on my a complaint from competitor. I literally sent them everything they asked for including vet reference paperwork where my vet confirmed I am taking all measures necessary to protect my puppies and take good care of them. Still they removed my page. Asked repeatedly why and never got an answer. I read all of the terms and conditions with all their policies and I was not in violation of anything, yet they wouldn't tell me why. What a joke, especially considering I had over 30K in puppy sales of which my puppy families paid them fees and now they have no guarantees. Quite irritating when I health test my dogs, spend thousands on importing them to the Us and there are puppy mills selling puppies on hood dog and other breeders that are lying about health testing results actively selling.

My husband and I decided to go with Triple J Aussies, and are very thankful we did. From the moment we filled out the application and was notified by Good Dog that it had been accepted, things went pretty quick. Deanna email me with pictures of beautiful puppies to pick from. I chose one, then called her, and she answered all my questions, and even help to pick the right creat out. We put a deposite down through God Dog on Tuesday and pick our puppy up on Sunday.
