This needs to end. The hacking, stalking, blocking, adviat shinde (the one who carted this website) look around don't you realized how much you done to us? Kids are crying, teachers are mad. Some don't Evan care about us on much how gogardian treats us. we are trying to tell you the problems that are in that website but you just ignore it. It hurts to see our favorite YouTuber gets blocked or a favorite song or Evan a favorite show. Its apposed to keep us away from the harmful gun or violence ECT but insted its doing the opposite. Extra: now I found this website called lightspeed filter go check it out! In conclusion: I love tacos :)

This app is so stupid it literally blocks stuff that's not even inappropriate I understand yall are trying to keep us safe but having it on at home or even the weekends that's a little too far and The most creepy thing is that they can see your history and you can't even clear it they also block videos that are not bad and Appropriate websites too this app needs to be banned ASAP

This is the worst thing ever!. Imagine I you just came back from a long day of and want to play chess. Chess is not distracting, or bad in fact it helps your brain. NOPE goguardian wants to unneccearciaaly block chess. Goguardian wants to bock nearly every website in the world!. F*cking SH*T

Our school literally blocked everything. We could access pinterest, which i used a fair amount for art references, and then they blocked it along with youtube and everything else... i hate it, and it can rot in hell. (not to mention that you can LITERALLY SPY on students... how tf is this legal?)

All my students hate it and when I watch them I am a creepy stalker? My school district needs to get rid of it ASAP!

Although GoGuardian is a very useful tool for teachers, it can be quite troublesome depending on the user. For example, if a student is caught browsing on their computer when they are not allowed, the teacher is able to shut down the computer and disable all browsing via GoGuardian. However, this has to be disabled manually, or else the student will not be able to use their computer for practically the entire day. Teachers will often forget to do this and the student will be locked out of their computer for the rest of the school day. Another negative factor of GoGuardian is that the teachers can see what the students are doing at home, away from the classroom. I'm not an expert or anything, but wouldn't that be considered spyware? Not to mention that the teachers are able to digitally message, call, and type on the student's screen without any consent or warning when GoGuardian is being used. This means that a teacher could randomly begin a video call with a student at home, which is likely a violation of privacy. When a district controls GoGuardian, that makes it even more difficult. They will often block certain keywords, which can be annoying if you're just searching up the definition of a word, or doing research on a certain topic. Blocked keywords often include "unblocked" and "fortnite OR fortnight". If I searched up "unblocked definition" that would automatically be restricted due to keyword filtering (shown in image, school district hidden for privacy reasons). GoGuardian can absolutely be a useful tool, if it was just a little bit more advanced and user-friendly so that school teachers and districts could navigate it, making things easier for everyone.

Goguardian is an awful extension. It blocks anything you go on. And even if it doesn't break school rules. IT STILL BLOCKS ITTT. THIS EXTENSION DESERVES TO BE REMOVE FROM THE FACE OF THE EARTH WITH HOW BAD IT ISSSSSSSS.

I was writing a report about go gaurdian and found out it watchs you at home and they watch you AT ALL TIMES. Today my friend was writing a different report and on my teachers screen it said he looked up something inerproperiate but he did nothing. Please we all have to work together to get go gaurdian banned.

GoGuardian makes it hard to keep passwords and private conversations to ourselves since teachers can see everything, and yes, EVERYTHING on our computers. It's like someone watching everything you do. Even though the point is to restrict people from doing certain things, there are other ways to work around that.

I HATE GoGuardian. I had LanSchool Air for half a decade (I don't consider it spyware, it's actually good and legal), and now I have GoGuardian. Overview:
Control - Closing tabs, ending browsing (3.25 / 5)
Tracking/spying - Location!, entire screen (7 / 10)
Most Absurd Blocking - YouTube videos to research websites (4 / 5)
BONUS - Selling information, works at home (2 / 5)
65% illegal aka ILLEGAL

I went on a GOVERNMENT WEBSITE and it was blocked! It was the TVA, so it was probably blocked because of the word "dam", as in hydroelectric power. Then to test this out, I went to the KGB's official website and it was NOT BLOCKED!

GOGARDIAN SUCKS! It blocks every single thing ever! I tried to go on Nitro Type, WHICH IS ONLY USED FOR TYPING, and it was blocked. It is also a spyware. Teachers can get your address from this. This is illegal. 1 star. Teachers just want your personal stuff. DO BETTER.

Goguardian is literally spyware for kids. Imagne having a bit of free time to be able to play games or watch youtube and then your annoying teacher just closes It even though you got the days assignment done. It even happens at home. When trying to use other websites to help me such as looking for a PDF for English (best class btw) it would block me on the spot. Can this stupid extention be illegal already? Why are people below the age of 18 treated like stray dogs with no rights?
