I set up a gofundme to help us because we've spent everything as individuals rescuing (spaying and neutering, loving, providing, shelter meds) alone, NOT a nonprofit. When people gave I wanted to make sure my sincere thank you's reached them and that publicly people could also see how much we appreciated any donation, no matter how small. Gofundme has always made suggestions how to reach and appeal to people and my endeavors were challenged because I have no family (meaning those close to me) to share and my friends are few and don't exist to continuously support our big hearted and what turned out to be extremely expensive to us in so many ways. Gofundme people have always had my back with ANY question I have ever had these last 2 years. They are fast, compassionate and take the initiative to suggest things to do. They have allowed me to bring this "people" problem of two many not spayed or neutered animals who can't just be fed, they need to be adopted if not feral or fostered. I tamed mainly 65 of the ferals thinking one day they could be adopted... but that didn't happen. I couldn't form a nonprofit in SC because after trapping and feeding and medically treating 125 animals on my one acre I couldn't agree to take in 69 more so I was denied financial help. Thank you, Gofundme, because without you and the ability to ask people to donate a little and share a lot there would have been times, and still may be, when expensive vet bills, medications and RX food would not have been bought. Thank you for GREAT customer service without fail.
Set up a GDM page for a literally starving family (long term friends) living in Gaza, now refugees housed temporarily in Rafah. GFM immediately put the page 'under review', meaning people can still contribute but no money will be transferred to the needy. Long list of open-ended questions via email. I answer immediately then get no response. Still waiting after 3 days. A site that pertains to help, but does not actually help starving people (bc they are brown, imho) is worse than useless.

I had used GoFundMe in the past, I am a spinal patient, and had forgotten the phone number that had been used to set up the first account when I was initially injured as a friend needed to help me with that back then. Customer support quickly and easily got me past that hurdle and allowed me to set up the withdrawals on my account so I could be back on track with receiving funds donated.
It's terrible that we have to rely on an outside source like this for funding for our medical needs, but it's good to know that there's a team of professional people that are there to help us when we need it.

First of all I was happy, because I got reply. I wanted to listed on to more categories, Reply was, can listed on to one only. After reply, I came to thought that you guys were correct, because It would be annoying to see same things again and confusing. And again I got to regain my sense, because her frank answer.

While attempting to make a donation for the Cow Palace on behalf of the Santa Cruz Valley Car Nuts I contacted the GoFundMe customer help. The response from the agent Malia was outstanding, prompt, professional, knowledgeable and even "sounded" friendly and concerned in the email.

I recently started a GoFundMe campaign to "Help John Brennon Fight Back." Although there was little interest in the campaign the GoFundMe customer service staff did everything possible to assist me with ideas on how to promote the campaign to the widest audience. When I decided that the interest just wasn't there they assisted me in expeditiously refunding the contributions I did receive, in full, to the original donors. I have nothing but good things to say about my GoFundMe experience.
I found their responses were VERY prompt (as promised on their website) and both thorough and professional in dealing with my queries and answered in a way that was very clear and put me at my ease. I will be back. Thank you so much GoFundMe.

Every set-up question I had was answered by email quickly, clearly, and kindly, which is good because I get easily discouraged when I have to wait a long time for marginal customer support. I had several questions and edits to make in the beginning of my campaign, and the process ended up being painless and surprisingly pleasant!
Prompt responses to any queries by professional people who come across as compassionate and caring. Nothing seems to be too much trouble. Very happy all round.

I was thrilled to be able to set up a gofundme for my friends LaVonne & Mike, whose dog was hit by a car that just drove away. Who could do that?! Jibs has 2 pelvic fractures and a fractured hip, surgery is up in the $5000 range and there was no way LaVonne could pay this... she's on disability because of a car accident several years ago.
In just a day, gofundme raised $1050! We are on our way! This is hopefully enough for the down payment for the vet. And more comes in every day!

I was having trouble navigating the website because I have never used it before. I had major heart surgery and was using it to help pay bills, physical therapy, etc. the representative was extremely helpful and then I was contacted by his/her boss to follow up and make sure I got all my questions answered.
